Swear, this place gives you the Willy Wonka vibes...the 70s version, not that Johnny Depp movie. My kid, well, he was literally a kid in a candy store! He's 8 years old and his eyes couldn't have gotten any bigger. I mean, when I finally let him loose and said, "Grab a bucket and fill it with all the gummies you want." He didn't know where to start. So of course, I had to help him! lol It is pretty pricey, so be careful what you buy. I have never been in this place before, so I wanted to try different chocolates, rice crispy treat bars, and different flavor gummy bears. Do yourself a favor and don't buy those rice crispy treat bars, they're gross. If you go to the back of the store where the giant gummy bear is, just get the bucket/jar and fill it up! It's worth it if you love candy. I plan on going back one more time before I head home to Hawaii; when I do I'm going straight for those gummy section. I might go back and get some of the chocolates, or spend a little extra on some chocolate truffles...it's just really expensive. I'll update this review with prices when I go back this week. It used to be such an elegant and beautiful candy store. What happened? The shelves are bare, the chocolate candy cabinets empty. What's worse are the prices. I love this little store. It's nice to see that candy hasn't been completely relegated to the checkout at the supermarket or online only. It's like a little slice of Willy Wonka in the Annapolis Mall. Emphasis on "LITTLE" store, though. While it's not a kiosk, it's quite narrow in parts. It can make navigating tricky, especially if there are more than a handful of customers in there. Still, the décor is wall-to-wall candy, mostly self-service by-the-pound options. The great thing about this setup is you get to pick what YOU like. And there is a great variety to satisfy most sweet tooths! The price... it is what it is. While I won't say it's prohibitively expensive, it's not "in-expensive." They have a rewards program, though, and my kid did get a free rock candy stick because of it. Maybe not the best value, but I will say that a lot of their items are a bit boutique. That's not a complaint, just an observation. They also have a decent selection of unique and fun beverages, such as "Duff Beer" and Aggretsuko energy drinks. A variety of ramune "marble" beverages, too, flavors I'd never seen in person before! It's a nice sweet distraction or destination in the otherwise cookie cutter Mall. We love stopping in here every time we're in the vicinity. Despite the high prices, I often visit this store to buy my son his favorite candy. The service is ok but the other day really upset me. I purchased an item that was listed as $7.95. When the employee rang up the item, it was a dollar more. When I mentioned the price, she said "oh, they must have changed the price." I asked her to adjust the price because it was incorrectly labeled. She stated "I can't do that." I asked to speak with the manager and she said "I am the manager." She was very dry and rude. Because of her attitude, I plan so escalate this. I have never had a situation where'd people didn't adjust the price if it was incorrectly labeled. This place is neat but a bit unexpected in the Annapolis Mall. The decor is super cute and will pull you in alone. Aside from the decor, the displays are cool and there is just something welcoming about the huge gummy bear statue in the back. If you need a wide variety of candy for a party or event, this is the place to come. A lot of the candy is sold in bulk so you can get a little bit of this and that. They have old fashioned candy, candy from overseas and popular candy. It was such a wonderful beginning. Nice people; wonderful food; great ambiance. What's not to love? The rewards program sounded great, so I signed up. They told me I had to go home and finish signing up online. After giving all my info in person, I wasn't thrilled with all the extra work, but the benefits sounded great, so ok, whatever. I tried to sign up online and had numerous technical issues. It turned out their site gave nonsensical errors if you use a password that's too long; I use LastPass, like a lot of people, so my passwords are huge by default. After I contacted support, we got it sorted out. Then I look in my account and my rewards aren't there; it's empty. I made a kind of big purchase, so that's pretty frustrating that their system doesn't *again*. And the icing on the cake is that after resetting my password due to further technical issues, the free pound of gummy bears I was also due shows up suddenly; so that wasn't there either, which I didn't even realize. That's 3 annoying technical issues just in the signup process. Finally, I was visiting friends out of town, and we drive out of our way to stop at a Lolli & Pops near them. I thought we'd buy some sweets, get my free rewards, and enjoy them together. So I ask an employee how to claim my rewards, and he looks totally confused. After a little Q&A with a more senior employee, we find out that the rewards are not rolled out to all stores, so I'm out of luck. Not only can't I get my free stuff, but if I make a purchase I won't even get points. UPDATE: Customer service say my review and replied to me quickly. They've since fixed my rewards account and told me that the store that didn't yet have the rewards program got it just a few days later. I still feel that L&P really goofed up here, but I'll definitely find an opportunity to go visit them again. read more

So, this is my happy place. Hands down my favorite candy store. If you are a candy junky like me, the endless refill jars are totally worth it. The atmosphere is cute, the candy is never stale, and the choices are almost endless. My favorites are all their uniquely flavored gummy worms. They even have rum and coke flavored ones. Decadence and whimsy under one roof! Never thought I'd find this little jewel in Westfield Annapolis. Chocolates, quirky candies, hilariously-named gummies galore. Yes, I even found the not so ordinary "chicken feet" gummies and the oh so patriotic military hero gummies. The Kinder chocolates and Cadbury bars brought back fond childhood memories, while the fist-sized spicy Lucas candy squeezies brought back my rebellious, adolescent years back home in California. What a blast from the past. All in all, we brought home a medley of caramel tiramisu chocolates, hazelnut and almond bites, toffee tiramisu bits, and some yummy watermelon gummy rings. Modest selection, but I'm glad we actually ate dinner before we found this place. The truffles and French macarons caught my eye as we were walking out of the store. Fantastic little store with an amazing selection and some of the best costumer service! All the employees are super nice, and the last time we went, we had a lovely conversation with Daniel. He was very friendly and we ended up talking for a while about our shared love of Tolkien. My brother and I were having a pretty bad afternoon, but Daniel cheered us right up. The store often has an employee standing out front, passing out samples to people walking by. They have almost any candy you can think of in here, including Harry Potter sweets and actual British Jelly Babies! I can't find Jelly Babies anywhere else! They are well known for their gummy bears, which are also amazing. The atmosphere is great too, it feels like an old fashioned candy shop from the 1920's. They provide little jars you can buy, and come back to refill. Definitely recommend this place! read more

Edit: I was happy that a member of the Lolli and Pops team contacted me to find out more about my experience. I've emailed him the details. I'll have to stop back in the store now. But a big "YES" for reading reviews and caring enough to reach out to customers! You need to TRAIN your staff on the refill rules. 4th visit with 4 different procedures that ended up with me being overcharged because the person during the last visit didn't inform us we needed a refill token, instead told us to buy it the same day. The person told me she'd honor the refill price but ended up charging me three dollars more. This was after I check in at the counter beforehand to make sure the person confirmed what I thought were the "rules." I want candy NOT red tape and confusion. read more

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. 100x better than Dylan's in NY. My BF and I were lured in from the really delicious gummy bear they were giving us a taste of by the door. We went in to candy heaven. There was so many different type of candy and chocolate and mints. They even had kinder here! They have a ton of gummy bear flavors which you can get for $12 if you get the bear jar, and they had honey sticks with different flavors - sour strawberry, chocolate, rootbeer... My BF and I were lucky enough to be able to try chocolate covered blueberries, spicy chocolate (cinnamon, spice infused chocolate- actually surprisingly really good) amongst many other chocolates here. I have the biggest sweet tooth so I LOVE this place!!! It's unique to say the least. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old fashioned candy shop, right down to the employee uniforms. The employees are all very kind and helpful and will give out free samples during mall busy hours. This place has everything a sugar craver needs! Want something unique? They've got it covered. International? That too. Nostalgic? Yup. There is a room dedicated to gummies and my personal fave, a room dedicated to chocolates. Omg, the chocolates. White chocolate toffee covered cashews. Artisanal chocolate bars. Chocolate covered espresso beans. Tiramisu coated caramels. Tiramisu almonds. My all time fave: MILK CHOCOLATE AMARETTO PECANS!!! I may kill for these. They are to die for! There are also giant artisanal Rice Krispy treats on display (I've yet to try one but I will one day soon!) and a soda bar filled with crazy flavors. Cons: They have a case with some gigantic, tempting truffles displayed. I've tried at least 4 different flavors but I can't say that I'm a fan of their truffles as of yet. OMGOSH!!! I had the best time EVER!! In Lollipop and Pop, Annapolis, Mall. I went in about two weekends ago and met David and Nina. Let me tell you, FABULOUS. I love them. They gave me the best customer service in life. I know people may say, "It's just a candy store" but the service was excellent. I was in sad mood and they made my day and lifted my spirit! David tod me to always remember.. "You're not in the way, You are the way"! Nina suggested new gummy flavors that I am now hooked on and suggested that I try the elderflower / lemonade. Fab! I had some of their gummy bears for the first time last night and they were hands down the best gummy bears I've ever had!

I love everything about this store. It's gorgeous for one. And they have every kind of candy you could ever think of, and then they make their own crazy combinations as well, like chocolate bars with jalapeños in them. I cannot leave the mall without stopping here and getting a treat for my kids, and a box of macarons for myself, and they always have samples of something. Ginormous sheet cake sized rice crispy treats. The cotton candy is one of the most divine things I've ever eaten. They have crazy macaron flavors like Earl Grey, red velvet, PB&J, as well as all the normal flavors. Unique gourmet individual candies and every flavor of Kit Kats, including sake flavor (what!?!?) It is delicious. Customer service is even more exceptional than this beautiful store, if that's even possible. Whenever we come to the Annapolis mall we have to stop at this location. There was so many sweet options to explore. My kids and I usually head right to the jelly beans and gummy bears. There are so many flavor options to choose from. The cost is a little pricy to me at $16/lb but given the amount of options they have, it's kind of worth it. Flavors include blueberry, coconut, pina colada, mango, pineapple, cherry, Dr. Pepper and so many more! They even have more adult flavors like rum and coke for the gummy bears! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The last time we went they offered us a take of some new chocolates they had. I also got some wine flavored truffles as a Christmas gift for someone. I got the champagne, Pinot noir, and Chardonnay flavors. And I got cotton candy as a gift for someone else. The pina colada flavored cotton candy is my favorite.
