This place has a window full of facturas, and serves sandwiches, salads, hot plates, desserts, etc. Open from 07:00-20:00 hours daily.
I went for the facturas. If you are not from Buenos Aires, a factura there is a small sweet pastry. They come in many shapes and forms. Any small breakfast bread other than the medialuna or croissant is more or less lumped into a category called facturas. Outside of Buenos Aires and environs factura means an invoice, but here it something tasty to eat.
You can serve yourself here, which I like. Pick the ones you want. There is a whole window full of then. You bag them yourself and then pay the guy at the register. As of Nov 2018, they were 13 peso each. In US$ at the time that was like 36 cents. I find they have a large selection of facturas and if you enjoy baked sweets they are of a higher standard than the norm.
I got them to go. If you eat in they may cost more but I never ate in. Id go get them and bring them back to my apartment.
