The cafe was filled with a lot of older folks. They have a menu for breakfast and lunch. We didn't make the breakfast time so we got the lunch menu. They also have a menu of the day that's not included on the menu. For lunch we ordered the soup of the day: pumpkin. Also a salami sandwich. The pumpkin soup came out and was hot and rich of flavor. I enjoyed it very much. The sandwich was also pretty good although the cheese or the bread made my throat very dry (can't distinguish which one it was). The presentation of the food was very nice. The ambiance was amazing, the service, the lomo saltado was perfect, the papa rellenas reminded me of my grandmothers, and the dessert was TO DIE FOR. Highly recommend this restaurant as a way to dive into Peruvian cuisine...you won't regret it. Also, bring cash to tip, they don't let you add tip to the total of your bill with a credit card.

We ordered a cafe con leche (latte), a tostada mixto (ham and cheese toastie sandwich), and a medialuna (smaller sweet croissant pastry). The portions were large so definitely shareable. The latte and the tostada mixto were good. Service was good as well, faster than I expected (I'm from NYC where everything is fast haha). The reviews said service was slow which I did not experience but it could be that I came early in the morning so it wasn't busy.
