I recently was provided towing services from Lone Star Towing in Sherman to transport a vehicle to Kruegerville and it could not have been a more satisfactory experience. The driver, Preston Smith , had to deal with a low to the ground classic vehicle with no drive or reverse In a residential community. He was extremely observant of the specific needs this required and was exemplary in the extra precautions he took, how he spoke with me about my concerns and how carefully it was loaded. I received a picture as soon as the vehicle was at its destination. I would hope many people would consider Lone Star for their next tow. You will not regret it! I was very impressed and confident. When I needed a tow truck for my granddaughter I called them and they were there within 20 minutes. The man that towed her car was very professional and a really nice person. And they were very reasonable in their charge compared to some of the large amounts some of these other companies charge. I think I made a very good choice in them. read more

Strongly recommend! These guys came to the rescue and saved our day in 15 minutes. We had a trailer malfunction pulling a boat from Texoma to Weatherford and they safely loaded onto the flat bed and dropped it off a couple hours away at a very reasonable price. Actually, my experience with your tow truck driver, Bubba, was excellent, but the first car hauler and driver who came to provice emergency road service was a big disappointment, I do not know his name, but I will refer to him as Joe. I directed Joe to drive to an area that is south of our residence and the vehicle because that three acre area is undevloped but clear of trees. It is hard packes and covered with gravel. But rather than turn around in that area, Joe drove onto the water soaked grassy area. He turned east in order to approach the vechicle he was to pick up and made deep impressions in the grass. He continued east driving somewhat downhill and could not turn around because he could not achieve traction on the grass. He eventually buried his front wheels up to the hubs. He called your company and Bubba arrived with a tow truck. He managed to pull Joe and his vehicle to an area where Joe cound turn around and pick up the vehicle he was here to pick up. I went out to take pictures of the extensive damage to your yard, but my husban, Alan, told me Bubba had taken pics and someone would be calling me today. Progressive called but needed the information on the incident. Bubba assured my husband that Lone Star Haulin would contact me today. Because I informed Progressive via auto servey that my expericnce was negative, Progressive called me today. The police dept called lone star out. Everything worked out really great and the driver was helpful. The cost of the tow was extremely fair. Unfortunately our truck was totaled but no one was hurt or needed the ambulance. Lone star had the truck picked up very quickly. read more

Bam just overwhelmed me with his kindness. My car wouldn't start, and my attempts to jump it were unsuccessful, so I called Lone Star to tow it to the shop. First call to Bam's arrival was less than 30 minutes. He was friendly and professional, asked me about the situation, and asked to try the jump. It worked. When I tried to pay him, he told me to just pay it forward, AND waited by the driveway until I headed out to make sure I would make it. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE, so not USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!! When they towed my truck on Sunday October 29, at about 12:45 pm, they STOLE almost 700$ worth of tools from the back of our truck. When we called the office several times they refuse to call back, stating they will "check the cameras". Having to file a police report to make sure charges are pressed. We have all of the inventory noted from the moment they picked the vehicle up. read more

My car broke down driving to McKinney for Durant around 9:30 at night. It was me and my two dogs. I was obviously super stressed out and crying when I called my insurance company. I didn't catch the driver's name, but he was so nice and totally put me at ease. He got us home safely and even took the time to jump my car for me, so I wouldn't have to leave the windows rolled down. I don't recommend any other service but Lone Star Haulin! After my dog got locked in the car, and calling two locksmiths, the police department who also brought the fire department with them, Lone Star was the one who was able to get my car open the fastest.
