Loved it. I would go back. Good food and service. If your iron levels are low the all you can eat ribs are the way to go.

Service was really good as well. Our server was interactive, and did a good job of managing the table. Sides were decent, but nothing spectacular. I do think they have a good way to bundle them together. We had the fries, Mac and Cheese and the Heirloom tomato's. The Fries and Mac and Cheese were similar to something you can find many places. The tomato dish I thought was really good, but my wife was not a big fan. I liked how it gave an acidic contrast to the fat in all of the other items. Wine List was decent, the markup was on the high side, but barely acceptable. I think they made over $100 on the bottle of wine I chose because I can find it for $100 cheaper in the bottle shop (and the bottle is less than $100 in the bottle shop). Where they fell short (for me) was on the steak. Considering it is a steak place, I should probably articulate why. There are three core components to what I will highlight about the steak. 1) Meat quality. 2) The Cook 3) Seasoning/flavour. At our table we ordered 4 different steaks. One off the kids menu which were the skewers - must have been good because my daughter ate all of it. My wife and son each ordered the traditional 200g Fillet. I had a couple of bites and it was well, a fillet that was cooked properly. My steak was from the Waygu side and that's where things fell short. When ordering a Waygu (even a cross breed) you expect buttery and tender. I ordered the F1 Striploin. I have had this a couple of times in the past at other places and found it to be exceptional at the other places, so that is my basis of comparison. What I got was a cut of meat where probably 1/3 was so tough because of the way the fat was in the cut that I effectively left it on the plate. Even the normal bites I found to be tougher than when I have bought Australian Waygu at Costco of a similar cut. It was pretty disappointing to say the least. In terms of the cook, I think each of the steaks were cooked really close to what we asked. My wife's cut may have been a little over done for medium, but still good. Finally, the seasoning. These steaks rely heavily on adding a sauce or something. They basically come unseasoned. I have been to many steak houses where you can eat the steak without a sauce and it's good. I am here on vacation, but overall I don't know that I would go again. However, if I were to do it over I would have tried the F3 Tenderloin instead. Overall though, for the money, I was underwhelmed.

Cheese Bread!…read more Sizzler has been my favourite restaurant since I was a little tyke. I love the atmosphere, the food, the cheese bread: frankly I love Sizzler in its entirety. Perhaps this bias colours my review but I honestly and sincerely believe that Sizzler is a restaurant that has something for everyone. Firstly: cheese bread! Am I crazy or is this super soft, fresh, cheesy and utterly divine bread actually the world's most delicious food? It's worth visiting just to get some of this wonderful yumminess in your mouth. Ask for as many extra servings as you like and enjoy! One of the other great things about Sizzler is that for a few dollars more than the salad bar you can get a full pub like meal as well. I opted for the Malibu beef burger and hubby had the Fishermans platter. Both were decent fare, made great with the fresh salads and pastas of the accompanying buffet. There is also a nacho/taco bar, potato skins, soups, fresh fruit and desserts to choose from to add to your stomachs delight. Food is fresh, cheap and cheerful and sure to satisfy fussy eaters (though perhaps not gourmets). If anything the decor has become more fresh and inviting than previous incarnations and the staff, as always, are friendly, swift and fantastic. The environment is very family friendly: upbeat and jovial with the wonderful background hum only found within the comfortable confines of such an unpretentious, homely place. Prices average around $35 for adults, including an attached meal and unlimited soft drinks, teas and coffees. Kids vary depending on their age. Sizzler is a true family restaurant: boasting something for all in a casual, laid back setting that is comfortable and welcoming. Come for the cheese bread, stay for a laugh, good conversation and fun times for all.

In other…read morewords, if you wanna go for a tasty meal with some friends whilst watching some sport then this is the place to go. The service was fantastic when we went, we took a seat and were served within 2 minutes. Drinks were out within 3 more minutes and meals within 20 and it was a busy night. Very impressive. Everyone's meals were really good. The ONLY reason why u haven't given 5 stars on this rating is that I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out close to well done: and when you're paying $40 for a steak you expect that if you order a steak medium, it will come out as a medium. I mentioned it to staff and they immediately offered a re cook which I didn't need so they offered me a complimentary drink which I also declined. In the end they just took one of the drinks off the bill which evened it out in the end. That's going above and beyond. Overall a well done effort hooters, really happy customers tonight

But I have been here 4 times. 1st: I'd seen the work being down to get it open, so had to go 2nd: I took a couple of guys from work, as a bit of a piss-take, and to try the wings. 3rd: A couple of friends were up from NSW, and they love wings (and so did I on my 2nd visit), and we wanted somewhere close to watch the footy, so off to Hooters it was 4th: So I live upstairs from Hooters, so it was convenient for a snack and drink in the Saturday afternoon sun. (And said NSW visitors wanted cheesy fries & wings again) 1: Do I like the food? Wings, Cheesy Curly Fries, Garlic Bread. YES. A mighty big YES. There's 2 stars their folks. Not 3, because I found the burger I had a bit meh.... 2: Are there enough TV's to catch AFL in a Rugby state and not have to straight my neck or eyes? Yes. And are the drinks reasonably priced? Yes. Another 2 stars. 3: Location. I live upstairs. It's EASY/ 1 star. 4. Service. Just, so so bad. Ok, so the girls are nice and friendly. But they are hired to be nice & friendly, and look good in tiny shorts & tight hooters singlets. Clearly not hired to be able to be decent waitresses, and get orders right, or bring the right food out, and check on drinks as needed. They clearly mean well, and are just as nice to the girls as guys (which you don't normally find in breastaurants such as Hooters), but I just shake my head. And there's only so long that I can be patient when I'm paying $17 for 10 wings that technically if I wasn't so lazy I could cook myself from the supermarket. Minus 2 stars. I would normally minus 3 for the service, but I'll go back because it's convenient and the wings are really good. They do take away so I think i'll just do that next time I have a craving for wings. Fun Fact: Tell them its your birthday, or bucks do, and it turns into a Johnny Rockets type of event with singing & dancing, and hula hooping! Another Fun (or not so Fun) Fact: If you're a boob man (or woman), you may or may not enjoy it. I think I grew up with the notion that Hooters girls were Pamela Anderson look alikes. Turns out I'm waaay wrong. Who knows, maybe they work at hooters to save up for bigger implants?!? If you're an a$$ man, Forget it. The shorts are far from flattering, and they're clearly hired for their hooters not be-hinds! (Yes, I am judging the staff on looks, its HOOTERS!)
