Last Feb 20, after waiting for 15 mins for Beth Ann from hydra Beauty, I went to Sola Salon for the…read moreoxygen facial from her Groupon. However, she talked me into upgrading it to 80.00 facial. I told her I have dry/sensitive skin. She decided to use the glycolic peel, coconut enzyme and pomegranate is what she said. I agreed. Right after she put the glycolic peel, my face started burning, so I informed her. Instead of taking it off, she put a neutralizer to stop the burning. She went on to continue with the facial while talking the whole time. After my facial, my face was very red and slightly swollen. She told me it will go away the next day. Next day, my face was very red and burned. I texted Beth Ann to let her know what happened. She told me to put more of her moisturizer in it, but at this point,I was scared to put anything on my face, especially from her. My dermatologist advised putting a natural aloe vera for the chemical burn then leave it alone. The following day, I woke up with a very swollen face, the day of my vacation. I texted Beth Anne again with pictures. I asked if I can get my money back because I spent money on the dermatologist. She decided to BLOCK my texts and calls. I called the manager of sola salon and told him what happened, and he promised to relay to Beth Anne, but still nothing from them. It's wrong to treat your customer this way. My vacation was completely ruined because my face was hurting so bad. I just want to warn everyone to be careful. If u want to go lighter u have to bleach and then tone over it . Marcy was the one doing my sisters hair and proceeded to not put any bleach and just toner so obviously my sisters hair went even darker than it already was . Mind you Marcy said she has been doing hair 30+ years yet she didn't know to do that??? When told after she was done it didn't look like the picture Marcy snapped and started yelling . Then proceeded to call her other stylists to the room and they all said it looked like the picture even though it didn't . Instead of trying to better the situation and make my sister feel good as one should when they get their hair done, she instead yelled for her to get out of her chair and said "I'm not doing ur hair anymore" then took my sisters phone and videoed her ! My sister never had intentions to not pay but if you receive a service and it looks nothing like what you want of course you're gonna be upset . I've never in my life been more upset with a supposed to be business owner in my life . & not to mention my sisters first language is Vietnamese but she understands and speaks English so it's really like Marcy tried to bully and take advantage of my sister because of the little bit of language barrier .
