Erin provided us a date for the work to begin, and the crew showed up as scheduled. After two long days of very physical but technical work the crew was finished. My yard is now beautiful. No more dead grass under our shade trees, the ground is smooth and uniform, and Southern Turf went above and beyond the promises made. I searched for a artificial grass company and found this one on Yelp. With 5 stars and many…read morereviews it fit my bill. I filled out a web form and then was soon contacted by Lindy. She arranged a time to come by and survey the small patch of my front yard that has had dying grass since the trees overhead have gotten older and fuller. She came promptly on time, took measurements and made recommendations on the type of turf based on my plans for the surface (nothing). Later in the day, I got a bid from her and I signed the online paperwork, sent in a deposit and they scheduled a day to come out and install. They showed up on time, did the installation. They also cleaned up the site with a power blower and left me the remainder of the turf for me to use however I saw fit. There was a slight miss where they didn't cap one sprinkler head out of 10 and so the sprinkler was pushing up against the turf on my test run. They came later in the week and fixed it to my satisfaction. Lindy was on top of all this including the scheduling, the visit to go over the completion checklist, as well has handling the crew to get them back out to fix the lone sprinkler. Additionally, during the day of the installation, another Southern Turf staff member came out to survey the work just to check on the progress. I would recommend them for future work, if I had any.

They sent 5 or 6 workers to do the job, and what I though would take days took one full day. They had to cut around pavers which they did expertly. The foreman and workers were very friendly, even helping corral my puppy when she ran out of the back yard. They laid the grass, applied some type of substance and then vacuumed the entire area. The final look was amazing, the clean-up was thorough, and the pricing was fair. What more could you ask for?

We had been…read morethinking of turf for a long time, and spoke with many businesses over the last two years and were pleased with our final choice of Magnolia and the turf products they offered. The group came out when they said they would, and were polite, not to loud, and did a really good job of cleaning up the job site and ensuring all of our outside items were taken care. they moved a playground set twice and a large trampoline, and were very careful with those. They also did a great job for the leveling and the border. As a bonus, I had complained about some stone that was worn from the previous two winter storms, and Magnolia fixed that up for me with some mortar free of charge. We did have an issue with a visible seam in the lawn. Weston was a perfectionist, which I was happy for, and they came back to fix, and Weston came back to review. They came back to address, and even replaced a large piece of the turf to ensure it aligned better. I would recommend them to anyone interested in turf.

Clean borders, no seams, smooth and level. With the staircase and multiple contours that they had to contend with, it wasn't a typical typical dog run, but they cut the turf perfectly to the complex area and the project came out extremely clean. They even installed a french drain at no extra cost when they realized it would be necessary to preserve the integrity of the turf. They nicked an irrigation pipe which was completely reasonable and expected, given the criss-crossing network of pipes, but they were quick to own up to it and repair it with no questions asked. This team is just starting out in Austin in an effort to expand beyond their Las Vegas home base, which explains the low (but positive) number of ratings. Give them a chance; I promise you won't be disappointed.

Smart Turf installed my putting green in late February 2022 and within eight weeks, the turf…read morestarted showing signs of imperfections such as wrinkling and lack of adhesion to the surface. I have been attempting to get Bo and Eli at Smart Turf to honor their one year installation warranty for the last two months with no success. If you are looking at Smart Turf, you should be aware they sub-contract the installation work and these sub-contractors have no time to warrant their installations. This is not what I was told when I agreed to move forward with Smart Turf after interviewing more than five companies. Smart Turf and their installers are driving new business only and do not have the business controls and management structure to take care of warranty work for existing customers. I have had six no-shows from their installers in the past four weeks. I have made several attempts to contact the Smart Turf Corp office and have not heard back from any executive of the company. I would not do business with Smart Turf based on my very poor experience.

I never felt pressured about setting my time/schedule because when I talk to him at first, our pool wasn't finished yet. He waited until it is right for us to install the turf. He sent me reminder emails to check up on the process. Their guys that installed it were very professional and polite. They were friendly while explaining to my husband the step-by-step of the process. We absolutely love our forever green space. We definitely recommend Smart Turf.
