Despite following every instruction, within months post-op I began to feel pain. I went back to him to ask for another MRI 5 months post-op to see if there was a reason for my discomfort. He very quickly brushed off my concerns and said that I am simply older and should accept I will have aches and pains. I did not like his demeanor or his quick response to my concerns. I decided to get a second opinion at a different practice who, after another MRI, determined there was not only another tear but that it appeared now even deeper into the meniscus. I've now had 2 meniscus surgeries from 2 different surgeons within 8 months. It was determined by the most recent surgeon that Dr Capogna left a flap of the meniscus exposed, which, no matter how much rest and PT, the meniscus could not "unfurl" or ease itself. Another surgery would need to be done. I understand we live in a highly litigious area and he could potentially see my request as me blaming him for a botched job. I was not asking for an MRI to put Dr Capogna at fault. I simply wanted an explanation for my situation. In fact, had he listened to me and agreed to help me get to the bottom of this and order an MRI, I might have even scheduled him again as the surgeon. I understand there are many factors involved when agreeing to surgery and complications are possible. What I do not understand, however, is a doctor who can dismiss their patient's pain so nonchalantly.

Between the compound/open fracture and the other broken bones, my morning started off tragically wrong. Thankfully, Dr. Tam is more skilled than all the king's horses and all the king's men because he was able to put me back together again! Dr. Tam impressed me with his straight-forward "this is what I would do if it were me" approach. I like options, but he isn't afraid to tell you what the best option is. Before surgery, he put his hand on my shoulder and let told me, "You'll be alright." He assured me he would do his best. His tone and the warmth of a human touch comforted me. I was very impressed by his skill. This isn't his first rodeo and he is very familiar with the ins and outs of surgery. I'm pretty sure he gave me a Borg implant, take a look at the picture and tell me what you think! I hope I don't start saying, "Resistance is futile!" Nothing but praise for Dr. Tam and I highly recommend him. If you need his services then you're in a bad situation. Trust him and he will get you to recovery as fast as possible.

I believe the front desk employee's name is Liz. During every visit, she has come across as dismissive, impatient, and unprofessional. She spoke to us with an attitude that made us feel like we were an inconvenience, and I witnessed her treating other patients in a similarly disrespectful manner. The front desk is the first impression of any medical office, and her behavior reflects very poorly on the practice. Patients who are already dealing with illness or pain deserve compassion and respect, not rudeness. Management should seriously address the customer service at the front desk before more patients choose to leave. I will not be returning to this office, and I will be recommending that friends and family seek care elsewhere.

Your appointment is confirmed left my house at 10:15 to make sure I got there on time because of traffic, on my way there I received a text. I couldn't answer it because I was driving as soon as I got to his office in the parking lot, I checked my text and it was a text from the office telling me Dr. Dagostino had to cancel my appointment. I was sitting in the parking lot already took a day off from work. I called the office and the secretary there told me that he is a sports doctor specialist. He does sport injuries. I have a knee issue that I injured. I think it's because I'm 72 years old and he didn't be bothered with an elderly person I'm a very young 72. I still work. I still drive. I still do everything. There is no excuse for this. This is totally disgusting. I don't recommend him at all. and he came recommended by a Doctor of my husband who we love and respect.
