I have adapted and am feeling great! Speaking of a mental turn-around ... those around me think I am on a diet. Yes, there is an extensive list of foods that I am not eating. Yes, sometimes it is hard to follow my protocol. But, about six weeks into the protocol, I had an epiphany. I am not feeling deprived because I made the decision that what I put in my body is my CHOICE. I am CHOOSING not to eat the foods that feed my inflammation. So, when someone says, "Oh, you CAN'T eat this," my response is, "I could, but I CHOOSE not to." It's been quite an interesting shift in thinking. In my case, the road to better health is not a quick fix. After all, I have many, many years (I'm 70) of eating (and drinking) foods that have not served my body. Before being introduced to her by a close friend, I was in a difficult point in my life. I lost some work due to COVID, a boyfriend of 2 years and I recently broke up and I just felt like I had no purpose in my life. To be completely honest, I never heard of reiki/healings until I was introduced to Dani. Working with her, I've become a better person. I've tried therapy and other ways to deal with my depression/anxiety but nothing has worked. With Dani I regained confidence.
