My granddaughter was also burned on an oil heater in the 5 and under room. This place doesn't seem to be very interested in keeping children safe. Please for the sake of the children in your life. Plymouth Toastmasters provides a positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. Members develop and present speeches based on an education curriculum. Holding functionary roles during the meeting helps develop 300 different competencies (varies based on your individual goals). This is a self-paced, education program with peers that help you improve your skills with effective and constructive feedback. Opportunities abound for leadership skills - any leadership role that you take on will improve your communication skills and confidence. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm CST. For now, the meetings are held online through Zoom (link available on the club website). I highly encourage to you visit the club and then come back regularly. Definitely consider joining - only $100 for a year membership. Much more cost effective than a Dale Carnegie class and then you get regular practice of your new skills. Networking is also a benefit.
