I signed up for an adult community education class to learn more about bookbinding, and had a blast. I learned many fun technical terms (read: throw up. Yes, really). I got there a full 30 minutes early one night just to be able to browse the giftshop, which contains not only a plethora of bookbinding materials and supplies (which are pretty niche) but creations by local artists and just cool book-themes things in general. I will definitely shop there for gifts for my other book-obsessed friends. Bring a buddy and go check it out, or bring a book and just go chill in the cafe on a day when you don't feel like interacting with humanity.

The last two months, my bestie and I have been walking the track and participating in the water aerobics class at 7:00pm on Mondays. Staff have been friendly most of the time. This evening the gal at the front desk was a little snippy to us. We made a comment saying how the water park was quiet, she quickly replied back with yeah, can't you tell it's being cleaned? It came off kinda rude to us. Almost made us feel silly/dumb for making an observation and being vocal about it. We utilize the walking track and pool. Place is pretty clean. Water aerobics instructor and fellow participants are all very friendly. Water aerobics instructor is nice and friendly. She is always welcoming to us and thanks us for coming to class. Great class. The day pass is $10.00 each time, not too bad for drop in. I wish step class was offered in the evenings and on the weekend. Then maybe I'd consider joining as a member. Until then guest pass it is.

My name is Brooke, and I am the Life Enrichment Director. Today, I brought a group of 27 seniors to enjoy lunch at your restaurant, and I cannot say enough about how impressed we were. Our waitress was the only server working the entire restaurant, yet you never would have known it. She remained calm, organized, and friendly throughout our visit. She treated every one of our residents with genuine kindness, made sure everyone had what they needed, and provided exceptional service from beginning to end. What could have been a very stressful and overwhelming situation turned into a relaxed, enjoyable, and memorable outing because of her professionalism and positive attitude. Our residents have not stopped talking about what a wonderful time they had. In fact, they have already started asking if we can make lunch at the Apple Valley American Legion a monthly outing! That speaks volumes about the welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service we experienced. I was welcomed with open arms, and everyone at the theatre has been a joy to work with. A lot of time and care goes into the productions which are put together primarily by volunteers (the entire cast, most of the crew, etc). If you have the chance, do check out a performance, you're almost certain to have a good time! :)
