Nice extra touch to finish up a lovely birthday dinner experience!

I was taken by family members to Longhorn Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday. It was a Monday and we arrived at 4:30 pm and were seated immediately. Over the next half-hour, the restaurant became quite busy, which surprised me since it was on a Monday! Our server was Mason, and he was very kind, friendly, and professional. Our food arrived in a timely manner and the steaks were cooked to perfection! We all enjoyed our meals! Mason then brought out a sundae in a fancy martini glass, on a plate that had "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate syrup and covered in sprinkles. It had a lighted candle, and he started off the song for everyone to join in. It was a lovely evening and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect: food, service, and atmosphere! Highly recommend!

We came here on a Sunday evening and were treated to a great meal at a good price. I'm giving five stars to the Longhorn in large part because of our rock star server Rachel. She attended to our every need with a great engaging personality. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and other aspects of the restaurant. Oh the food? I ordered the ribeye and it was excellent. Ditto on the Redrock grilled shrimp JP ordered. One note: portions are generous. We were started out on a nice warm loaf of complimentary bread served with a soft whipped butter. Couple that with the loaded baked potatoes and we were stuffed. We couldn't even contemplate dessert though the Chocolate Stampede and Molten Lava Cake sounded tempting. We will return.

The service from our server Mac was excellent. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was delicious. The steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered. Shrimp was cooked perfectly and everything was seasoned perfectly. Did I mention the food was perfect? I don't know if it's a restaurant thing, or an Idaho thing (we're from California) but the prices were great! So happy with this meal.

I was amazed that we walked in and got us seated right away. The place was packed and the staff was very friendly. Love the bread that you get to start the meal. We tried a lot of dishes. Flo's Filet - 7/10 - it was good for the price, but it's no Flemings steak. It was cooked well and came out rather quickly. Renegade Sirloin - 5/10 - it was not a very good quality steak. I didn't enjoy it. Very stringy. The LH Burger - 10/10 - didn't expect a burger to win the night, but was the best thing I had tonight! I would come back just for the burger. Firecracker Chicken Sticks - 7/10 - for an appetizer, these were exactly what I thought they would be. Recommendation - ask for some tench with them. The ranch was a 10/10! Mashed Potatoes - 1/10 - I don't know what's up with their mashed potatoes, but they were not good at all. Loaded baked potato- 9/10 - this hit all the right spots for me! Macaroni and Cheese - 6/10 - this was hard. I ate it all, but it was just not on point. All together, the place is nice, the staff is great, and the meal was good. There were hits and misses. But I liked it. It's a little on the pricey side. Normally when I take my family to Olive Garden, we pay about $110. Tonight was $142. I've been wanting to try this place and I'm happy I did. Solid 4 stars.

This Restaurant Killed it! We had 5ppl in our group and the Steak was Amazing! I left so full and can't wait to go back! The service was quick and excellent. Pp

We came here because my husband watches videos of a guy who tried different steaks and different restaurants and had said Longhorn had the best steak. We sat in the bar area. The service was good. We ordered the rib eye since that's what the guy had ordered. Long story short it was far from the best steak. Lots of fat and no charr marks on the steak. Well now we know...the baked potato was good.

Ribeye Steak at Longhorn Steakhouse. Wonderful cut, tender, juicy, cooked to perfection. You cannot go wrong with Longhorn!

Best Steakhouse in IF. Great customer service. Cooked individual to guests choice. Love it!

Original: My review for this place is not current. I had a…read morepretty bad experience here a few years back so we will never go again. WHAT HAPPENED: When they're busy, they don't have enough servers on. This was something we had already been warned about, and got to witness first hand. Also, without informing us, they charge for soda refills! Seems the server was padding the check, thanks to two teenagers with us, and they drink soda. I had a couple of beers that I expected to be charged for, but my other half's coffee refills?, mann come-on. The place is overly priced to begin with, the food was not fantastic. They were riding on their legacy name. Surviving by tourist seasons of the unsuspecting. I gave it two stars because the food wasn't bad. I can say that the experience was not worth the bill. I did see the prices before we ordered and did not hesitate. However, those prices raised my expectations. To top it all, the atmosphere is dark and cramped. Never again! It might seem petty to not give a second chance if you think that only the bill is the reason. The lack of transparency, price to quality, and shoddy service combined. I think there are equally if not better restaurants in Idaho Falls. It's not worth the price here. UPDATE: with a vengeance! Mitch and Justin at The SnakeBite showed me just how much things can change under new management/ownership. My first review stated that it was a couple of years ago, lol Mitch helped me sort out the timeline, and it was actually close to 6 years ago. Guess I'm a little out of the loop, because I was informed that 100Proof Hospitality bought the restaurant about 4 years ago, long after I had sworn the place off forever. I know some might not appreciate an old experience popping up like brand new in a review. I get that in hindsight, but these new owners didn't flinch, and they are savvy--I tell you that. They turned someone (me) who would've never returned, into their regular customer. To start, the two teens have grown, it was only the two of us, which didn't matter because they no longer charge for refills under the new ownership. We were hosted by..well, a young man who was a little less than personable. He wasn't bad, typical in fact, but after experiencing the management and our server--the rest of the team outshines him a bit. It was late lunch, so they were still busy, but had enough open seating for the two of us. Laney--our server, is the coolest lady to ever walk the planet. She was hustling, laughing, smiling and talking with everybody. Just magnificent ambiance. She handled my undecidedness in style, answering every single one of my questions with complete honesty. "So if I put pepperjack on this, will it ruin the flavor of the cheese sauce." Direct eye contact, slowly nodding with a cringing look, "yeahhh probably." Great pallet to boot cuz she was so right. The Blue SnakeBite Burger--mann that sauce!, is what "zesty blue" is all about! I also got a Stuffed Mushrooms appetizer. I hope I remember this exactly, but it's basically a spinach and artichoke dippy sauce stuffed inside of two very large portobello crowns, a fantastic drizzle and roasted red peppers on top! I would eat those every meal for the rest of my life! My other half got the Haddock with Waffle Fries, added Coconut Shrimp and Salad. She was too busy eating to tell me what she thought lol--loved it all. We sat, had met the dazzling Laney( who can bring people back all herself) ordered, and--get this--I ordered through Laney, a beer from the bar. The bar shortly later poured the wrong beer (think person ordered wrong), which was the same draft that I ordered. So over to our table comes the smiling and booming bartender with the beer out stretched to me, "You want a free beer"--well, yeah. The kicker: Nobody knew yet, including management, we were the "2nd look" couple. SnakeBite and 100Proof Hospitality, unknowingly pulled off a mic drop. Prices slightly higher than chains, and worth every cent! We will be back. So should you!

No…read more But I imagine if I did, SnakeBite would be peak post fishing day food!) if you're a fried pickle fan, you have to order these! I'm pretty sure they lightly sprinkled some ranch seasoning on them and now I'm refusing to eat them any other way! The other highlight was the skillet cookie, which we downed like a pack of hungry wolves! Warm, gooey and yet crispy with creamy vanilla ice cream! chefs kiss

April 2026 Idaho Falls, Idaho…read more I was surprised to see this place is attached to a hotel when I drove up. Typically I do not eat at restaurants that are attached to a hotel. However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. My biggest complaint is the cheese sauce is definitely from a can. The cheese that they did put on the nachos was a slice of cheese that was not even melted. See picture. Reminds me that I am eating in a restaurant attached to a hotel. There are no beans. The chicken is mixed in with the cheese sauce. And it is sparingly there. This dish is absolutely disgusting! The fish and chips were terrible. They're served in a basket with four pieces of fish and they sit upon fresh cut fries. The fish was not good. The batter has a odd taste. Perhaps the oil it is fried in? I think I would've been better off going to Culver's and having their fish platter. Although my beYr was in a can, it was very cold. It was truly the best part of my meal. I am so disappointed that yelp led me to this place. This is my warning to others. Stay away. We had two completely different meals and neither of them were good.

It's the perfect spot for hearty, traditional Midwestern comfort food. After all, how can you visit Potato Country without enjoying at least one perfectly baked potato? A little fun (and mostly useless) fact: Potatoes are typically harvested once a year in the fall and stored in underground bunkers. The ones you usually buy in stores are often nearly a year old. And if a potato starts to sprout? It simply becomes part of the next season's crop. The moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a time machine. The interior is warm and cozy, with darker tones, rich red accents, wood-paneled walls, and glass partitions. There's even a mud room and a coat rack ready for those chilly Idaho winter nights. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our server introduced herself right away and took our drink orders with a smile. I went with the Ultimate Philly--tender, well-done strips of their famous prime rib, grilled onions and peppers, all smothered in a rich cheese sauce. It came with a side of au jus for dipping and your choice of side. I couldn't resist ordering the Jaker's Baker, a massive Idaho potato loaded with all the toppings.
