We ordered the Tonions for an appetizer, and Chicken Parmesan with a loaded baked potato for lunch. It was all delicious, but I was looking forward to using my birthday coupon for a dessert cake. We were told after waiting a bit, that my coupon was only good for dinner, which it actually says, but some people call lunch dinner. As it was lunchtime, we were only given lunch menus. Maybe they should post the specific hours in which the coupon is accepted. read more

We have been here several times. We love the steamed broccoli! All of the food we have received has been delicious. Today was exceptionally great because of our waitress Shelby T. My wife is recovering from dental surgery and Shelby was very helpful with items that were soft. She was very kind and checked on us often to she if my wife was doing ok and if the food was to our liking. The restaurant is always clean and nice looking. My wife asked to talk to the manager. She told him what a joy it was to be waited on by such a sweet and caring waitress. read more

I didn't have high expectations for a steakhouse located in a parking lot. But there we were, gift cards in hand, ready to be underwhelmed. Woah!!! Wait just a minute!!! No peanut shells on the floor? No blaring country music? Ok..... the food must be sub par. We'll fool me again!!!! Our steaks were nicely seasoned, tender, juicy, albeit a bit undercooked. Food was OK. Our waitress was not what you'd expect in this restaurant. There were 3 of us seated. All 3 took turns going to the restroom to wash our hands with plenty of time to set at the table until someone from behind said "I'll be with you in a minute". Some time later she returned to take our order. Since our wait had been lengthly we gave our food and drink order at the same time. When she returned with drinks she said that they were baking bread and she would bring it when it was done. While all this was going on the table beside of us filled up. After some time we notice that table beside us (about 8 people) had their drinks, appetizers and bread. We then look up and someone is there with our food. When we ask about the bread being ready and that the table beside us had gotten bread and they came into the restaurant long after us. We then get bread brought to our table. The waitress was very unhappy with us. We were never offered refills on our drinks and my son never got the Mac and cheese that I'm sure we paid for. Not a good experience at all. read more

So, I saw this place and wanted to eat some steak. It was close to the hotel. I walked in and sat at the bar. Was greeted and their beer selection was very poor. Same with bottles. I got a Sam Adams seasonal and it was flat. No initial carbonation, except where the glass was dirty. I told the bartender that it was flat and she said all the beers are that way. Nice to see that you have someone on staff who's knows how to maintain the beer. I ordered my food. I ordered a steak cooked medium.Got my salad and it was ok. My steak, a filet and my broccoli came. I cut into it and it was rare. I cut down the middle and it was rare. Plus, this had to be the cheapest filet ever!!! It was like cutting potatoes roast. I sent it back, the part in the middle came back medium well with the other sections still rare. Nicely done, morons. The broccoli was way overcooked in the microwave. Terrible food. we spend $187 and I didn't get cheese on my salad the steak was not a ribeye cut. I don't know what it was but not ribey. it didn't have any fat very dry and just didn't taste like the right cut. I wasn't the only one at the table that got a bad cut. I think 3 out of 4 steaks where trash. The online waitlist is total BS. You get placed on the list, they send you a confirmation text, and nothing happens. When you get there and check in is when they actually put you in the que. so our example: 50 min wait, 25 min drive, check in and the que is now 1.5 hours. The steaks aren't that good. Best steak that I have had in ages! Perfectly cooked and seasoned--I did not even need any kind of steak sauce. I have visited other locations and knew that I loved the bread as well as the Wild West Shrimp appetizer; both of which lived up to my memories. However, the steak was definitely the star and I think I have found my new preferred steak restaurant. Service was excellent; great server who was attentive without hovering. We had a very pleasant first experience at the Owensboro LongHorn Steakhouse today. This was our first time visiting and I was impressed. The staff was very courteous and the service was spot-on. Not to mention the food was outstanding. We ordered the mushroom caps appetizer, followed by Outlaw ribeye (medium) and New York Strip (medium well) respectively. Everything was cooked perfectly. This place has my 3rd favorite Ribeye in Owensboro so far. The prices our reasonable to the level of this type of establishment. My Fiancee said they have the best fillet mignon in town, she also wanted me to say that it was even better the next day as a leftover. The choice of sides was good. the only problem we had was the children's menu is very limited and with us we have finicky eater but was able to find something for him. We walked in at about 3 p.m. when it wasn't terribly busy. We stood at the unoccupied front desk for almost ten minutes, waiting for someone to greet or even acknowledge us. When seated, we were left without utensils or plates for our bread and appetizer. I ordered the strawberry and pecan salad with grilled chicken. My husband ordered the salmon. Another very long wait for our meal. When it finally arrived, my chicken was raw and had to be sent back. I don't know how that was allowed to leave the kitchen that way. The only redeeming point in our visit was our server, who was very friendly, very apologetic, and who made sure that we weren't charged for the salad and was given a free appetizer and my replacement rice side dish. Baked potato was still hard in the middle. Got ready to pay and was charged for my free appetizer, Waitress said that was only for dinner not a 2 o'clock lunch.(.
