DO NOT HIRE!! My family has known Jeri Flynn for over 20 years now. When we first met her, she…read morehelped my aunts family immigrate to the United States. At that time she got things done in a timely manner. Fast forward to now, Jeri is not what she used to be. Far from it actually! - She is hard to get in touch with and once you do get in touch with her, she is rude and is hard to talk to. She tells you everything is under control when it really isn't. - She blames all of her mistakes on everyone else and also lies. After waiting many months to hear from the UCSIS, we finally got the email stating our I-130 was approved and that we could proceed to the next steps in the application process. She did not acknowledge that she received the email from them until 2 months later, causing an unnecessary delay. During that two month period I tried reaching out to her to let her know we got the email and that our I-130 was approved, but she assured me I did not know what I was talking about and to wait. When she finally realized I was talking about the approval email/letter from the USCIS, she then claimed she never got the email/letter and that it must've gotten lost??? Later after I fired her and she gave me back my file with all the emails related to my case.. I found the email she said she lost along with the letter from the UCSIS timestamped with the date she said it went missing. - After sending financial documents to the NVC for the first time, they were rejected. We were upset, but understood that these things can happen. She assured us that the mistake was the NVC, and that she would correctly upload the documents the second time. Unfortunately, she failed to correct the mistake and re-uploaded them the exact same way - resulting in us getting rejected again. This was just a matter of following directions. I understand that maybe things were done differently in the past, but now everything must be uploaded online and Jeri showed she did not have the capacity to do that. She uploaded documents meant for other people under the wrong names and failed to correct this mistake twice. More importantly she also failed to upload a very important document (I-864 form) that was required to be submitted on my behalf. When I spoke directly to the NVC, they were very surprised a lawyer made this mistake TWICE!!!! - I am truly worried about her mental capacity to practice law as she is very disorganized and asked my family to resend documents multiple times on multiple occasions. She also made many errors on very important documents which I luckily caught before submitting to the NVC for the THIRD time. All in all, I would NOT recommend Jeri Flynn as an attorney. I ended up calling the NVC for directions, and uploaded the documents myself. Only after I did that did I realize how careless and negligent she was with my case.
