Can't believe I hadn't visited Lonsdale Bridgedeck before! This is the place to go if you are looking for amazing beer flights, delicious appetizers, burgers, and sweet treats. I would highly recommend ordering: deep fried pickles, decked out burger and pulled pork sandwich. The pickles were fried to perfection and paired perfectly with the sauce. Every bite of the decked out burger and pulled pork sandwich was heavenly. Their churros was the best I've had in vancouver but they only offered it for 1 day to test it out as a potential permanent menu item. Hopefully they'll add it to the menu so I can go back and enjoy more churros. The salad and Italian Chessesteak Sandwich were okay.

Great service, they should add more fresh menu items, even though it's a pub it's high volume and they could do some amazing fresh dishes

It was quite busy when we arrived on Sunday mid afternoon Upon arrival no one was really monitoring or greeting people so we stood around for five minutes unsure of what we were supposed to be doing. We stood around and eventually figured we should just take any free spot we could find for two. We got the cruisey juice double dry hop IPA, fresh hop IPA, the chocolate Stout and the sour (not the berry one on tap). All were good but cruisey juice our favorite. I was pretty shocked regarding their prices though! Two beers came out to be over $20 without tip, otherwise good vibes and good tunes. Cool crowd.

Latest craft beer place in the North Shore brewery district. Looks like this place has been around…read moresince December 2019. Totally flew under my radar. Free parking is available in front of the building. The place is quite spacious. Looks like it was once a car repair shop (just like Streetcar). Actually according to the internets it used to be a carpentry shop. Single large area with bay door that can be opened to let air in. Cute little old school fireplace on the side. Wonder if it's functional. Tables are fine but the chairs are the rather uncomfortable stainless steel interrogation room type. Fortunately there are also some cushions lying around. My butt thanked me. Staff are friendly. As of the time of writing there are 10 brews (9 beers and 1 3rd party cider) available. The beers here are actually quite good. Reminds me of Wildeye. Plenty of ales but they also have sours and stouts. Nice mix. Only real comment I have is that the Life Of Riley Hazy IPA didn't seem too hazy at all. Maybe they should change the name. Will be back in the future.

Craft beer and restaurant near the middle of Whistler Village, just S of the Olympic rings…read more Parking here is horrendous. Surprise surprise. The place is part of Mark James group (Yaletown Brewing etc.), so one can already know what to expect if one has been to the other locations. Staff are friendly. Most of them seem to be Australian. Only complaint was that my friends and I couldn't be seated outside on the patio for some reason, even though there were clearly tables available (I didn't see any reserved signs). Not sure why the waitress insisted we sit inside where the place was maybe 30% full, but oh well. The place feels like a giant chalet, with the timber trim everywhere. They have a pizza oven, and the beer production tanks are visible over the kitchen area. There's even a toy train that does a circuit throughout the dining area (look up). One thing worth mentioning is that the bathrooms are on the 2nd floor, which may be a problem for some. Food here is Whistler pricing, so be sure to have deep pockets. I was told to try the High Mountain beef ribs, so there is now 1 less cow out there. 3 bones drenched in BBQ sauce, served on top of a pile of coleslaw and next to a pile of mashed potatoes (there is a fries option). Ribs were cooked well but the sauce was definitely on the salty side. I tried a piece of my buddy's prime rib and it's pretty solid. The portion size was definitely enough. I was stuffed. I also had a flight of their craft beer (4 glasses). As of the time of writing, they only have 8 beers available, but it was more than enough. Overall the place is worth a visit if one wants pub style comfort food.

Needn't have worried as there was exactly "one" person there. Not a really positive sign. While we were in there, about an hour, three guys came in and a delivery guy delivered, that's it. Our server seemed distracted and uninterested, which is tough to fault, given the lack of things to do when the place is empty. The service was pretty slow even though there was no one in the place. The lovely K ordered the Wing special and a Caesar salad. Our server came and said they only had enough to make a small Caesar so she changed the order to a Spinach salad. They also made a small Caesar, and brought it as well. How do you not have makings for one of the three salads you have on the menu at opening? Shook my head at that. The pizza was also below average, I don't think they even make their own dough given its taste. There is no ambience at all really as the accompanying photos show. Overall uninspired, poor service and below par food. Hardly a recipe for success. Sad really, there is a significant investment in the place completely going to waste. We will not return.

I'm not sure why it wasn't busy here. Anyways we ordered 10 pc wings ($8), Truffle fries ($8) with Mimosa ($5). Chicken wings were okay. It tasted like something I can easily make at home. Truffle fries were amazing. The portion was big and it was packed with flavours. I hardly tasted truffle in it, but it tasted more garlicky which I didn't mind. Mimosa was great! Although I tasted some wine in it, the drink was refreshing. Service was pretty memorable. Staff were very kind and friendly they greeted and smiled at us. I've rarely been to an establishment where staff were so friendly and smiling especially in Vancouver. Ladies were doing fantastic job serving customers. Angry Otters is a great pub for a dining with friends or family.
