First of all, when the client contacted me and asked me to help with her daughter's wedding, I readily agreed. The Loose Mansion managers, Abbey and Loren, seemed to have an attitude issue. I wanted the wedding event to be just as memorable for the client as they... but they seemed to want to make things unnecessarily difficult. When I arrived at the scheduled time, neither Abbey nor Loren were there. No one else knew anything about any of the A/V equipment that Loose Mansion provides. Awhile later, Loren arrived. I introduced myself and was as pleasant as I could possibly be. Again, I received a "not so warm" reception. There was just a prevailing attitude of arrogance, entitlement and an unfriendliness. Because Loose Mansion was providing the video projector for the event, I asked Loren if we could plug my computer into the projector prior to the arrival of guests to make sure everything operated correctly. She told me that she probably wouldn't have time to allow me to test the hook-up because she was "so busy". I thought to myself "had you arrived at the time we had agreed upon, perhaps you would have had time to check important components like making sure the A/V would work." I was told that I would need to bring my own sound system and mics because they don't allow any "outsiders" to touch their equipment. So I came prepared with speakers, speaker stands, mixer, mics, and audio playback. As I was setting up the computer, I couldn't get the "Loose Mansion" WiFi network to work. I said something to Loren and she told me that I would have to connect to the "office network". The WiFi network was so ridiculously slow that no webpage would even load up. I thought that something must be wrong... so I connected to the network with my phone to check the speed there. Again, practically non-existent speed... so bad that nothing would work (see the screen caps from both my computer and my phone). I was afraid to say anything to Loren or ask her to reset her router for fear that I'd get another harsh response. So I just set up my own hotspot and used that. I finally did mention it to Loren and she said "Yes, it's very slow... we just tell people to download everything they need in advance." It seems ridiculous that a professional "event space" facility would have WiFi that is virtually of no use whatsoever. As the set-up for this very nice wedding event proceeded, I noticed that Loren was wearing a black skirt for the event, but with old green sneakers. I thought that she was just wearing these old green sneakers because they were comfortable during the set-up process, but surely she'd change into something more presentable for the wedding once guests started to arrive. Wrong! Later during the event, I overheard one guest mention her appearance to another guest... they were also surprised that management would allow an onsite manager to dress like this for a client's wedding event. They forgot to turn on the speakers for the ceremony, so if you were sitting in the room used for the ceremony, it sounded like all of the sound/music was coming from the room behind you (there were speakers in other rooms of the house). After the ceremony, as guests went for cocktails, we started to set up our gear for the after-dinner event. The "unused" Loose Mansion speakers were still sitting on the small stage... and when I asked Loren if we could move them aside so we could have room for our speakers, she said "No, we'll leave them right where they are!" Unbelievable! Another thing noticed was the fact that in order to lower the projection screen from the ceiling mount, Loren had to get a tall staffer who stood on top of a bucket or something and then used a plastic coat hanger to try to reach the bottom of the screen and pull it down. Tacky! My review is directed to other vendors/event planners. I've never had to deal with event space management who was NOT a team-player with the goal of wanting to create a stellar event by working TOGETHER with vendors. Our daughter and son-in-law recently had their wedding reception at Loose Mansion and we were extremely please with the event. We cannot recommend Loose Mansion highly enough. My wife and I were impressed and pleased with the professionalism of the staff and the preparation of the event space. The event manager, Loren, appeared to be everywhere and invisible at the same time, and the staff worked seamlessly with the outside vendors. Every guest that spoke to me about the venue mentioned how beautiful it is and how well everything ran. My wife and I also stayed in the Carriage House and that simplified and enhanced our experience. We love to take a morning walk, and the neighborhood was fun to explore too. One last item that I don't want to overlook is their process of event preparation. It seemed that every need, every eventuality, was anticipated and prepared for. On the front end, it seemed a little daunting, answering all those questions and choosing among so many options, but the payoff came at the reception. Loose Mansion is the former home of one of the Sunshine Biscuit founders. Being from out of town, I was completely unaware of the space or family. The mansion become one of our things to do while in the area. Our visit to this historic home was due to a wedding. The ground floor was elegantly decorated. Lots of soft candle light. Rich wood gives the space a regal feel. Along with weddings, this would be a fantastic venue for a roaring 20's party. Two additional floors are located upstairs. The middle floor is primarily where the wedding parties ready themselves/wait. That floor is less formal. In the space are some pieces of memorabilia from the Sunshine company. Included are some rather ornate cracker tins. The top floor has a ballroom. Ballroom also has space for a bar. This is another refined space. Between the wedding ceremony and dinner, guests were sent to the basement for hors d'oeuvres and drinks. The basement has a different vibe. Murals of old time towns adorn the walls. The seating area almost has a wine tasting vibe. A brochure available for guests as a scavenger hunt in it. This brochure includes information about the mansion being haunted. My children were also convince that there were secret passageways in the house. They never discovered any. Who know, maybe you will. read more

When looking for wedding and reception venues, we wanted a place that was all-inclusive. We didn't want to have to look for vendors or ask anyone else for help with things. We searched and found Loose Mansion and absolutely fell in love. Having our wedding at Loose Mansion was the best decision we ever made. It's so beautiful and elegant! The venue matched my dress perfectly. You don't need much to spruce up your event either. It's perfect. The whole process was made easy because of the staff. This historic and gorgeous mansion-turned-event space is one of the top venues in the City of Fountains! My wife and I attended a holiday party hosted by my employer last night at the Loose Mansion, and the beautiful venue was the subtle jewel of the entire evening! Located in one of the most historic neighborhoods in Kansas City, Missouri, the mansion wears a humble, albeit very large, exterior, befitting of the period it was built. However, once you step inside, the wow factor is turned up to 11! Mr. Loose's wife wanted a house that was ready for entertaining, and she most certainly achieved her goal! Our evening was themed "Old Hollywood", with hosts, performers and supporting staff all decked out in charming period costume. We were welcomed into the mansion and directed to the "speakeasy" downstairs for cocktails, and then ushered to the first floor for dinner. The dining room featured high ceilings, gorgeous pillars and moldings, and many warm, grand fireplaces. After a filling supper and live jazz band, we were welcome to the second floor which had games, pictures, more drinks and....Marilyn Monroe! It also featured more gorgeous interior architecture and fixtures. Even the staircases were elegant and grand! For the last portion of our event, we went up to the top floor and partied the night away to music, lights, lazers and dancing! Of small logistical note: there was a large parking lot directly west of the mansion that offered plentiful parking for our party of approximately 200. The Loose Mansion was the perfect venue for our Big Day. The mansion looked great with decorations, the food was delicious, and the bar was flowing. The staff was professional, prompt and catered to our requests. Loose Mansion offers to handle all those little details with decorating, setup, tear down, staging, etc., that you don't have to worry about. That is a huge plus to have so many details taken care of and you get pick in the initial meeting. The price was very fair for the value we received. TL;DR - If you're planning a wedding, a small corporate event, a family reunion, a class reunion, or any other kind of event that requires catering, coordination, and other resources, give Loose Mansion a call. You won't regret it. Honestly, Loose Mansion is by far the most underrated small event space and venue in the entire metro area, especially for weddings. My wife and I recently held our wedding there, and after having done wedding photography for 11 years, it was honestly one of the most seamless, effortless weddings I've ever been involved with in any capacity. First off, the venue itself is gorgeous and well-kept. It practically decorates itself, and if you're any fan of the series Downton Abbey, this building will appeal to your aesthetic (if Kansas City had a version of The Breakers mansion built by the Vanderbilts in Rhode Island, it would be Loose Mansion). It's evocative of a bygone era, but has all the modern appointments one could need for any event. Second, the venue can provide you with nearly everything you'd ever need to put on a wedding: food, booze, photos, sound/media/DJ equipment, staff, coordination, all of it. While we only ended up utilizing their in-house catering options, being able to rely on the staff for setup, tear-down, and coordination across the board was invaluable. The food was **incredible** across the entire menu, and I highly recommend using it because you'll get more for your money with that option than you will with any other caterer. One thing that stuck out to me about the building itself was the vast number of bathrooms it has (literally over a dozen of them across several floors). Third, the venue itself is in an area that's quite conveniently located (close to Westport, the Plaza, and even downtown), which made getting places around the wedding weekend much, much easier for everyone involved. Parking was not an issue at all, as their lot was large enough to accommodate everyone with space leftover for more if we needed it. Finally, above all, the expenditure for all of this was well worth it in the end. We paid far less to have more organization and a better overall experience than we probably would've received at any other venue, and with other vendors for the various wedding aspects combined. And this was all in the midst of a pandemic, with only 4 months of planning. read more

I joked that the Loose Mansion team provided us with an "all-inclusive" wedding, but it is very true - they have every detail down to a fine art that removed a lot of stress from us during planning and especially the day of. Some highlights: The venue itself is very elegant and timeless. The team at Loose Mansion can not be matched - every single person we interacted with was very professional and fun in all stages of the wedding planning process. Their attentiveness to details made it feel like our wedding was special and important to them as well as us. They provided us with infinite options and were very flexible to our requests (i.e. we wanted to have a specific ice cream for dessert at our reception and they kept them in the freezer/served them). We appreciated that they were upfront about price changes as we made changes to the plan and had no hidden fees or surprises. In a nutshell, the unparalleled architectural beauty of this venue, personalized attention, great service, and ease of planning a wedding with the Loose Mansion staff made this venue the perfect choice. The owner, Barbara, met us onsite to give us a tour and tell us about the Mansion's fascinating history. Brad was phenomenal to work with in coordinating a wedding, he spent HOURS with us to work out every little detail so my husband and I (as well as my mother) did not have to worry about anything on the big day. The attention the staff gave us from the beginning was something we did not always receive when visiting other venues. The architectural beauty of the venue as a historical building makes it stand out over the mostly warehouse-like, blank canvas venues you can fine elsewhere. It impressed our guests a lot. The venue is beautiful even without flowers or decorations, allowing couples to save a lot of money (many decorations such as candles and centerpieces are included when you book with them). The all-inclusive approach makes planning easy but also allows you the flexibility to spend less in certain areas and more in others...this venue has an option for virtually EVERY budget (there are different sized rooms for different guest counts, different bar packages, and a wide variety of food options to chose from like carved meats, Italian buffet, mac and cheese bar, and even creative dessert options like a flambé station.) With their incredible in-house chef, you won't have to worry about lackluster food, and they provide a tasting event to couples to help you decide on your menu. All of the food is just AMAZING. My wife Marita and I decided to get married last year and spent months touring all over Kansas looking for the perfect place to start our Journey as Man and Wife. I stumbled across the Loose Mansion on Yelp and saw some great reviews, so we checked it out. Let me just say, from the time we walked up to the Mansion, we were blown away. The décor is so classy and beautiful. The owner and the staff went out of their way to welcome us and explain the amazing history behind this place. (I won't tell the history so you too can enjoy the lesson when you go.) We decided that this place would be where we would say our "I do's". Brad was our guide through this amazing experience and he helped us from the conception of what we believed we wanted all the way till I walked out of the Mansion on our wedding day. Our guest who flew from all over, continue to rave about the establishment and the amazing food we had for our wedding. There are three levels to this place and we decided to get married on the first level. It was a perfect decisions since some of our guests were older and would have trouble getting up the stairs. To sum this review up, it was the perfect wedding. Loose Mansion is a must for couples looking for that special place to start their new lives. The staff is amazingly responsive and excellent at anticipating your needs and keeping track of all the important details. Since the venue also functions as the coordinator, caterer, has their own stock of rental chairs/tables/linens, and an entire room of decor for you to peruse and select from, it cuts down on the total number of vendors you need, which means fewer lines of communication to keep track of, and overall less stress. Had my wedding ceremony here in Oct 2021. I absolutely loved the venue, it came to life on the day of the ceremony and looked stunning. Abby DeBoutez and Barbara Saathoff were incredible to work with. They took care of everything on short notice, were incredibly flexible and most importantly they were gracious and warm despite our wedding being a unconventional, South Asian wedding with loud guests! Not only is Loose Mansion beautiful and historic, it is also impeccably run and second to none! I chose it for it's charm and I was blown away by the staff's professionalism, efficiency, and patience. We enjoyed the tasting night and were given ample time to craft our menu. We decided upon a selection of warm and cold appetizers including artichoke phyllo cups and prosciutto wrapped melon to serve during our cocktail hour. Next we served an incredible pasta buffet for our big eaters, and midnight minis of chicken and waffles for our big drinkers ;) All courtesy of the in house chefs and for an entirely reasonable price! Speaking of drinkers, the bartenders were professional and attentive, just like the main event team! My husband and I couldn't have been more pleased with Felicia's incredible service and the excellent expertise that was offered by Brad. Genuinely, we are so grateful for the way they handled the mishaps (yes, there will be mishaps) during our big day. No one brought problems to me, such our two people show up without having sent in RSVPS or that my uncle spilled an entire glass of red wine on our cake table! The team just handled it, silently and professionally, without fanfare. I was so grateful to have them to handle our drunk guests, also. Beers bottles were spilt and people got sick (yes, this is real life) and we got taken care of as if were weren't a bunch of hooligans! I'm telling you, you want a good team around you when you have a friends and family mash up like ours! My daughter & her husband were married at a small destination wedding in March of '20 as the pandemic took over the world. Originally they had planned a reception at Loose Mansion for May of '20. That was postponed to Aug of '20 and then postponed again to Sept of '21. It was a great success at that time! Loose Mansion was very cooperative in working with us as we navigated these changes in scheduling. They also did a superb job of handling all of the details (both big & small) involved in hosting an event for 100 or more guests for a sit-down dinner. The Mansion is an incredibly beautiful venue with a very professional staff. It isn't necessary to hire a wedding planner when you can work with their event planners. Loose Mansion was amazing to work with! I didn't have to stress out about my wedding at all. They take care of all the 'day of' things and make sure the ceremony and reception flow together seamlessly. The food and drinks were amazing, no one left hungry or thirsty. We were getting compliments all night from our guests about how good the food was, the beautiful venue and the perfectly orchestrated evening. I have been told our wedding was elegant but at the same time relaxed, which makes me happy knowing our guests enjoyed themselves. Also, because the mansion was so beautiful on its own we really didn't need to purchase decorations or tons of floral. My wedding was absolutely perfect and Loose Mansion was a big part of that. Choosing Loose Mansion is one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning. The space is obviously gorgeous, but it's the event team that made it really spectacular. When my husband and I started planning our top priorities were the guest experience, delicious food, and minimizing stress for us and our family throughout wedding planning. As soon as we set foot in Loose Mansion for an open house my husband was sold. Everything we tasted during the open house and later at food tasting was absolutely delicious. Their staff was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the process. We loved how turn-key the planning process was because it made planning much less stressful. Having food, drinks, and decor all managed by the venue significantly simplified planning. The space is so beautiful as it is that we decided to just add some greenery and lean heavily on the decor they provide as part of the package instead of spending a lot on florals. As our wedding approached we had full confidence that the Loose Mansion team would execute our vision flawlessly. The day of our wedding we were able to relax and enjoy the day. They made sure that we were able to eat dinner and checked in to see if we wanted any more drinks or dessert throughout the evening. Everything was seamless and many of our guests commented that they really enjoyed the food. We had the best day and would choose Loose Mansion again in a heartbeat. Loose Mansion was the best decision I made for my wedding. Prior to booking Loose Mansion things were not going so well. I had family trying to 'help' and sending me 'great' ideas for the wedding and providing details on how my now husband and I should do things. But it wasn't us and it wasn't what we wanted. Once we booked at the Mansion our team sat down with us and planned every detail. They helped us talk through our ideas and make sure the big day was going to be something that we could enjoy. They handled all the setup, room flip, cooking, bar tending and clean up. They allowed our day to be something that we could enjoy along with our parents, friends and extended family instead of making our loved ones haul boxes of wedding decorations to and from a venue. Not only is the staff amazing but Loose Mansion itself was absolutely gorgeous. Our wedding pictures simply take my breath away between all the ornate wood and chandeliers. The entry way took some of the best family photos because everyone could stand at a different level. Finally I have to mention the food. My daughter's recent wedding reception (8/28/01) was 100% perfection. The mansion was gorgeous and every little detail was seen to. I simply can't imagine a more wonderful place for Beckie and Chris to have celebrated their marriage. From the moment we booked Loose (over two years ago), you and your staff were unfailingly responsive, respectful, patient and kind. Every request was met with "sure, we can make that work." I'll never forget how you stayed with us during Covid and our need to rescheduled. I heard horror stories about other vendors, but you were simply amazing. I also wanted you to know how wonderful the vendors are that you recommended. Every one of them stayed with us and did not charge us a single extra penny for postponing. They reflected the leadership tone you set. I can only imagine how tremendously difficult the last 18 months have been for you. But you never let that show to us. You have our backs every step of the way and it gave us so much confidence that we could still have a special celebration, even in the midst of Covid. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can't recommend Loose more highly. For those wondering about an "all in" venue, we found that this greatly simplified the planning and was probably less expensive than going with separate vendors. Researching, hiring and especially coordinating with vendors took the most time in our planning. Having one stop shopping with Loose was wonderful. The mansion itself is gorgeous with lots of marble, a beautiful staircase and Tiffany chandeliers. In addition, we didn't spend any money on floral arrangements or other decorations because Loose has an entire huge room filled with decorations to choose from. As event places and spaces go this has to be at the top of the list in Kansas City for a medium size event. I'm not sure what the capacity is, maybe a couple of hundred people. But all the different spaces are good for mingling and exploring. Different floors have their own bars. Even a couple patios if the weather is nice. Wow! What a fabulous experience we just had with our wedding ceremony and reception at Loose Mansion. My daughter and her husband continue to get "That was the best wedding ever!" feedback from their guests and the wedding was six weeks ago! As mother-of-the-bride, my greatest concern was that I would be planning this wedding with my daughter and her fiancee for a Kansas City location, but I live out-of-state. I really needed to find a venue that would respond promptly when I made inquiries, be OK with working with a bride in Kansas City and a mom in Texas, and offer as many services and as much help as possible. In addition, the bride and groom were totally taken with the beauty and timeless elegance of the venue and felt it would offer not only a beautiful location for their ceremony, but such a fun and unique environment for their reception. Loose Mansion was the perfect fit. My experience began with emails back and forth with Abbey, their sales manager. She always responded promptly and offered bits and pieces of advice as my inquiries became more and more serious. The wedding date was the last weekend in March. The venue offers wonderful rates for the first quarter of any year and I was able to take advantage of these. In addition, the venue has a Carriage House B&B on the property and the bride enjoyed spending the night before the wedding there with her bridesmaids. This made "getting ready" the next day so easy for the girls. Having booked the Mansion, Brad, their wedding coordinator, became our "go to" guy. He was AWESOME!! We reserved the entire mansion for our event (about 200 guests) using all four floors for a variety of purposes--ceremony, small bites and drinks following the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. I was wondering if this might end up being confusing or chaotic, but Brad and his staff are so experienced and organized that all the transitions were totally seamless. The staff helps with so many of the small things--greeting and directing guests as they arrive, directing guests to the buffet table, serving the cake, even carrying the gifts out to the car. The Mansion made planning so easy. They provide a vendor list, which was especially helpful for choosing a photographer, a florist, and a wedding cake. They offer an evening for the bride and groom to come in and have dinner so that a variety of appetizers and main course choices can be tasted. There is a quite lengthy meeting with Brad and his staff to plan every minute of the ceremony and reception. They don't miss a thing and there is so much available in-house--table settings, linens, table decorations, room decorations. The food was fabulous. Their chef is wonderful. Be sure to order the homemade cinnamon rolls as a combination with the dinner rolls. Yummy! They offer a variety of bar packages. We went with the beer and wine package which also includes one frozen choice. A very popular addition. I cannot rave enough about our experience with Loose Mansion. Complete Book: I'll start from the beginning...when I began planning my wedding I knew that I wanted a venue that could accommodate both the ceremony and reception. Living in Chicago at the time, I sent my parents around KC to check out 20+ event spaces and follow-up with pics for me and my beau. I totally had this idea in my head of what I wanted, but considering I was 400+ miles away my parents were able to parade around as they pleased so long as they at least visited those spots on my list. I did not know this at the time but when my mom so cleverly suggested taking a look at Loose, she was playing me a fool. I love my mom, don't get me wrong, and we get along very well. And we planned this event together without so much as a single tiff. But there was something inside of me that wanted this event, this day to be the culmination of all of my great ideas - so much so that I started to ask her not to make suggestions because I wanted to be able to make them first! So silly, right?! So when we visited Loose I was a bit hesitant because I wasn't the one to find this place. Therefore, I did not go in with an open mind and if anything I didn't want this to be the place. But from the moment we pulled up I knew. The Mansion is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL - inside and out. Butterflies, goosebumps, tears, laughter...an absolute flood of emotions came over me. I was giddy. I just knew...KNEW...it would be the perfect venue. And it was perfect from that very first day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure this was the MOST MEMORABLE day of my (and my hubs) life. Truly. Amazing. Loose must host a hundred weddings a year. But the owner, Barb, and our coordinators, Amy and Allison, made me feel like I was the only bride in the world. I was pampered, catered to...they bent to my every wish! We reserved the entire mansion for our event: Second Floor for Bride/Groom Suites, Main Floor for Ceremony, Basement and Patio for Cocktail Hour (though guests wandered around the entire Mansion admiring all the beautiful details), the Main Floor again for Dinner and the Third Floor for Cake, Dancing and More Drinking! We even reserved the Coach House for the night before for me and bridesmaids and night of for my parents and other family. And the Lower Floor of the Guest House was used for our Kids Party during the Adult Reception. Loose also provided all the décor, which was more beautiful than anything I could have dreamed up. They also suggested a florist, DJ and even a liquor store who were all a complete joy to work with as well. They took care of EVERY DETAIL to ensure we didn't sweat a thing. Did I mention the food, yet? The food was SPECTACULAR. Really and truly - unbelievable. Guests still comment on the food to this day, claiming it is not only the best "wedding" food they have ever had but some of the best food they have ever had period. They served up small appetizers at every planning meeting we attended and even hosted an event at the Mansion where they entertained several of the soon-to-be-brides and provided a food tasting so menu items could be sampled. It was difficult planning the menu because I really wanted to serve everything! And it is definitely worth mentioning that you are able to bring in all of your own adult beverages. Loose will provide non-alcoholic drinks and all of the cocktail mixers, but anything with alcohol is carried in. HUGE money savings...HUGE. And it really allowed us to customize our drink menu. Loose Mansion and its staff provided anything and everything that my husband and I needed to ensure we had our perfect wedding. We had our son's rehearsal dinner at this beautiful venue - wow it was better than I could have asked for. The staff lead us through everything and made the process so easy and enjoyable. They were very willing to work on the special touches we wanted. The night of the event the mansion was so beautiful - we had the whole first floor so people got to mingle freely and it did not feel crowded. The food was out of the world - I would highly recommend the mac and cheese bar! They thought of everything - it was a beautiful evening and we got to use the patio also. Before your event you go to a tasting event to actually help you choose the food and then you meet with the staff and pick out everything you want. I would recommend this with my whole heart - they made my Son's and new daughter-in-law day before the Big Day so very special and beautiful! read more

I attended a wedding here just this past weekend. The set up inside was beautiful although the "seating" area is quite small and some seats didn't really have a clear view of the alter. After the ceremony all the guests were sent down to the basement level where we were treated to drinks and snacks while they transformed the main level from the ceremony seating to dinner seating. The food was average (about what I would expect from wedding food) and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There were only 2 bathrooms (at least on that floor) so that was a little inconvienent. All in all though this place was lovely and was a great location for a wedding. read more

Loose Mansion is the best of the best! My entire experience with them was perfect- their staff is very on top of everything from the first tour to the schedule of your bouquet toss on your big night. From the beginning, their staff was accommodating as I toured other places and came back for multiple tours- it's a big decision! They walked through every single section of the contract- I knew exactly what I was getting including the tax and gratuity. Speaking of, Loose Mansion is an All Inclusive venue, which means that they take care of everything from your setup/teardown to your decor, catering, planning, etc. It took away all of my stress. You meet with them twice after you sign: once for your event planning meeting where you go over every single detail and timeline of the day and again for a tasting event. They are flexible when you don't have answers or have a unique idea. Their staff makes the day perfect for YOU- they encourage unique brides, floor plans, and odd schedules. Not to mention, my wedding week it poured rain. I was so torn between having my ceremony at Loose Park or moving it inside. We love Loose Mansion! From the moment we entered the door of Loose Mansion, we knew that it was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding. The Mansion itself was gorgeous and we loved the woodwork and décor. The staff were very welcoming, kind and professional. Our primary planner, Felicia, was very patient and answered our questions in a timely fashion. She was a great help during the planning process and every attention was paid to detail. If you are planning a wedding in Kansas City, you owe it to yourself to at least schedule a tour of Loose Mansion. It is exquisite, and the staff could not be more knowledgeable and helpful. There are so many options for a wedding ceremony/reception. The 3rd floor is a spacious ballroom, equipped with a bar, fireplace, and lighting for dancing. The second floor has the bride's room (all amenities) and the groom's room. The first floor has beautiful hardwoods, a bar, patio, etc. They supply the bartender, and you can bring your own alcohol, which would save a ton of money! Abbey was working with us, and seemed very experienced, professional, and flexible. They can really make your wedding any way YOU want it. There is a carriage house next to the mansion that can be rented as well (ideal for out-of-towners or family). All of our email inquiries were responded to promptly. There are lots of options for decor, and they can actually supply many of the decorations themselves! Loose Mansion would be an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue.
