They don't have a clue as to who can or how to fix the problems they're having with It. Many residents (including me) depend heavily on the Internet for their devices and Smart TVS and fire sticks. My…read morefather was admitted on a Monday in April 2021 for a 'few days of physical therapy' so he could return home. He was combative so they drugged him BUT they over sedated him. He then did not eat or drink for 2 days due to sleeping and neglect. Although we repeatedly asked, they claimed he was improving but would not put a fluid bag on him. We finally called an ambulance but it was too late. He had gone into renal failure. The emergency room had him on a fluid bag for 9 hours until he died and not one drop of urine went into his urine bag. He was a diabetic so 2 days without food or water was it for him. Due to Covid we could not get in there to see him other than window visits. We visited twice a day and called every few hours to no avail. no one in there would listen to us. We were able to be with him when he died but only because one of his children finally said ENOUGH. We had asked for an ambulance once before during his very short 12 day stay at this place. They said he did not need one, he was improving. We asked for Hospice and they said 'he did not meet the criteria' - we will be talking with the state as well as possibly sueing this establishment. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE IN THE LAURELS OF MT. PLEASANT.
