Not true!!! He needs to spend more time directing traffic instead of milking the clock and neglecting to do his job adequately. Felt so disrespected when he just up out of the nowhere decided to place me last in line. This type of behavior should not be tolerated. Honestly I don't think I will be going back to this recycling center again. This type of behavior makes me feel so unappreciated.!!!

When I had over 30 pounds of copper, that she had in her art studio, I had NO IDEA what to do with it, so a friend told me to sell it! I found that Sims Metal, aka SA Recycling, will buy copper at a great price! I was there less than 20 minutes, and walked out a bit richer! Lol Not bad, considering that I was going to throw it out! I will say that it's a bit intimidating because there are big rigs flying in and out with tons of scrap metal! It was quite an experience that I will not soon forget. The attendant was very helpful. They have large scales to weigh the copper, and hand you a receipt showing the total weight and what they pay per pound, $3.70. They do require you show a valid driver's license, and they take your photo. I declined because I thought it was optional, but they said it's for security because apparently copper is stolen often. I laughed and obliged. It is not a business that I will need to return to any time soon, but I most definitely will recommend them to anyone looking to sell their copper or scrap metal.

Just about anything is accepted here, but some items (electronics, metal, hazmat) have separate drop-off areas. The longest I have ever had to wait in line to drop off bulk items was about 15 minutes and that was right after Christmas, I'm usually in and out.
