This was our first dinner stop in Italy and I'm very happy we came. It's in the Piazza and the food was great. We came with friends and they tried the olives. If course, there was no rush on our food or us and that made it better because we were exhausted. You should know some basic Italian as it's appropriate and appreciated by the locals. The fried calamari and shrimp were seasoned well and not overcooked. The gnocchi with langostinos tasted great and it was easy to peel and clean them before eating. Suck the heads, you won't be disappointed. The server was great and gave us recommendations on where to go hiking, walking, etc. I also recommend the spritzes they have. My lemon spritz was great but I'm not an aperol spritz fan anyway. read more
The bruschetta was not what i had expected. They melted a couple kinds of cheeses over sausage, spices, prosciutto or sauces over baguette slices. Great wine! Beautiful outdoor patio area and its right in Piazza del Popolo. Chill vibe, classy, elegant atmosphere and good food overall. A little overpriced, but that's because it's in the heart of Ascoli Piceno. read more

Had lunch here today. Place is located at the famous Piaza del Popolo. Lunch was not served together, probably because we all had different choices (primi or secundi). The large 1.5 liter waterbottle on the menu was not available at lunchtime! We were told so after we ordered the 2nd. bottle. The 1st. was a regular although we ordered the large one. The pigeons, lots of them on the Piazza, were making a mess of an abandoned table while eating the leftovers. Staff didn't clean until a mam with a little baby demanded they did so. Staff was kind of quiet. Food was normal. The bruschetta was under normal. A plus in Italy of 2013 was the free wifi. Toilet was better then we've seen around in Le Marche. read more

Small restaurant with very large terrace on probably the nicest square of Ascoli Pisceno. Serve great white wine with a more then generous portion of snacks with it (slice of pizza, piece of sandwich,..). Try their local speciality of fried, stuffed olives! They also sell freshly made pie and sweets. The primo piati courses were not stunning, but.. oww.. that white wine! Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere with all locals enjoying their evening! read more
