i needed to be transported to Geelong . Rick and Rebecca ,( I hope that name is correct?), were fantastic. it was late in the day and after being unable to get into St John's ( due to bypass) we arrived at Epworth. held up there for a couple of hours before I was moved to a cubicle ( finally) and then the crew could leave , and probably not getting home until early am. They were so professional but also great company on the trip . I am so grateful for their care and support ( and all the conversation on the way ) The experience also identified how our State Government is failing primary care in so many ways leaving it to a small local crew and only 1 ambulance to service a large population in a peak period .
