I took a friend into Lorrie's office for a quote on content insurance. In talking with Liz she said she could probably get me a much better rate for my homeowners insurance. I just didn't get around to it and then one of my policies was coming due for renewal. It was at that time I decided to give Liz a visit. I couldn't be happier, she not only provided a much better quote but also added additional coverages, all in a very timely manner. REALLY HOT CHICKS!!!!! They will kill me for saying that, but I was in yesterday for my motorcycle insurance. I ended up protecting my family with life insurance as well! Seriously, my wife was with me and she knows I am saying this, I have been with Lorrie with my home for years, but now with twins, it was time , and the motorcycle..Check out the photo!! Hi, my name is Lorrie Howe, insurance specialist at Lorrie S Howe Insurance and Financial Agency (State Farm). We have been proudly servicing Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, Woodbridge, and Scarborough Ontario since 1989. My team, I and our pets have over 35 combined years' experience helping individuals and businesses with their insurance needs in Ontario. Everyone is always welcome. Overall I did not have a great experience with Lilian Hee-Karstadt, I wouldn't recommend but I…read morewouldn't not recommend. I was transferred to Lilian from my old agent, and I was not given the choice, which in and of itself is fine. I received a welcome letter explaining who she was and why she was taking over. Also fine. There was no interruption of service and things went on as usual. The issue I have with Lilian is I cannot hear or understand her over the phone. I called to get motorcycle insurance and I spent more time asking her to speak up then we did talking prices. She did tell me she is soft spoken, but it was incredibly frustrating. In the end I moved to TD, better rates and better speaking volumes.

We were defrauded on our car insurance sold to us by State Farm, and they will not honor the…read morecollision insurance they said they would give us. State Farm documentation says we have only "Comprehensive" coverage, with no other extras involved. Specifically, Lilian Hee-Karstadt lied to us, repeatedly, that our car had Collision coverage, that we had uninsured driver protection, and a rental policy to cover us. We paid over $6,000 to be fully insured as Ray (my wife, and primary driver) is a young/new driver, and with only a G2 we did not want to risk anything. She lied to us, took our money, and went out of her way to push other additional products such as life insurance at us. I will never use State Farm again. I will never use any State Farm Product, nor will my family, nor will my friends. Nor will my Wife's friends or family. This was an absolute disgrace, and having this woman as one of your representatives damages your brand and your identity as anything resembling a "Good Neighbor". You called, you checked your paperwork, you said "Nothing we can do, you're on your own." and left us hanging. This is the agent's stats. I hope you remove her entirely from your company. Ha ha, a joke! Absolutely zero insurance knowledge. Just trying to push sales for their own little franchise. Allstate and State farm are not insurance Brokers. Allstate and State farm cannot write policies with real insurance companies like Intact, Aviva, Chubb, AIG, etc. Allstate and State farm agents are obligated to write policies with their own crappy company. Can only offer the subpar policies of their own company. Can't do commercial insurance and obviously don't understand it at all. Agents are only concerned with sales. Nobody ever receives a flyer in the mail from an Insurance Broker with a photo of their face on it. Allstate and State farm rely on this type of junkmail. Greasy salespeople. No insurance expertise.won't pay a claim and are in suburban stripmalls, not Toronto's Financial district read more

I was blown away by the awesome service!!!!!!!! Wow, in todays day and age, I could not believe the fresh made cookies, the service, the way they explained to me slowly and in detail my policy. I dealt with Tanya and after she wrote up my condo , I met Lorrie. Both of them were awesome. They introduced me to the rest of their crew and everyone was so nice. So refreshing in a crazy fast paced cold world.If you are new and looking I would HIGHLY suggest to go here.
