Found this place looking through Yelp while in the area. Let me tell you, this place is legit. Best adobada tacos I've ever had, and I'm always on the hunt for the best street tacos. At the moment this place owns the crown. The establishment doesn't have much curb appeal and I must admit, being the only 2 gringos was different, but the staff was very accommodating. We were going to grab food to go, but inside the restaurant was clean and cozy so we dined inside. I'm not really sure if I can do these tacos justice using only words. Meat was flat out amazing and the best I've had. Super juicy and flavorful. Salsa was really good and complimented the tacos nicely. I really wish I could have ordered more, but they are CASH ONLY and I only had $16 on me. They serve BBQ ribs and chicken cooked over a wood fire outside that smelled wonderful and probably was equaled in taste. Give this place a try and you will not be disappointed. Let the record show I would like to be able to leave six stars! This is the best Mexican food I have eaten in 20 years of living in Washington. I have only had this good of tacos at Guedo's in Chandler, AZ and a little hole in Palm Desert, CA. The young guy behind the counter was very friendly and great to deal with. This place is outstanding. I'm a wine grape broker and we had our harvest party here. Their pollo tacos and tortas are the best I've had since leaving Sacramento and actually probably as good as anything I had in California. This place is incredible! It definitely has a local feel to it, very casual and friendly. They have a massive grill in front of the restaurant where they grill all of their meat to absolute perfection. They also make their tortillas fresh, which are always freshly off the grill. We had carne asada and pollo tacos and they were amazing. They have a great salad bar where you can also put as much cilantro and onions, etc as you would like. Drove from Mukilteo to Portland via Los 3 Panchos! Chicken grilled outdoors next to the road that can't be beat. Love the lack of ambience with all effort put into great food. People are very nice. First of all I would never in a thousand years walk into this place while driving by the building. It's rundown, shady looking, dark, (was their after dark), wouldn't even know if it was a restaurant in the first place. I first found it on Yelp when searching for a Mexican restaurant in a town that we were traveling through. When we drove past the "restaurant" I thought they had moved or gone out of business. A second and slow pass by my wife said "I think this is the place". I said "you mean the storage building? That was it as I described it at first. She didn't want to go in but I indicated that Yelp has not been wrong before (my personal experience) so we agreed and enters the building. No matter how you feel about the decor this place is clean top to bottom! The food was amazing! The staff was very pleasant! This is a family run business started by the grandmother in Mexico in the 1940's and moved to this location a few years later and built by there grandfather, both have passed away and is ran by the rest of the family. Can't wait to go back! They need an investor to help with the building and marketing. They can do the rest. read more

Like everyone has said don't let the shack scare you away. It is old but well kept. You can't go wrong with any of the options I've been 3 times and every time i went home happy. The chicken is definitely a highlight but every other meat I've tried here is good. I heard the ribs are good that's what I'm getting next. Excellent authentic Mex in a roadside shack with concrete floors. 1.50 for excellent tacos with fresh corn tortillas. Absolutely loved it as I grew up eating like this in South Tucson. Autentico! Looks like a taco truck broke down at a junk yard and great food came out. You place your order and then scoop your own Horchata out of the big jar. Fresh roasted bbq chicken in a pink roadside shack! This place was well-reputed and lived up to it's rep. The first time I came here, I went to a neighboring shack that was actually just an empty shack. Yelp reviews with photos were helpful in pointing me in the right direction (i.e. right next door), where I saw the pink paint and hand lettering. I ordered food for a work lunch meeting for 15 people, consisting of 3 entire roasted chickens plus tortillas, rice, beans, and salad...at $15 per set for a total of $45. The chicken was hot, freshly cooked, moist, well-seasoned, and chock full of delicious flavor. And my colleagues were very happy. It's almost ludicrous that what I paid to feed 15 people is what I'll sometime pay for one meal in a foodie restaurant in Seattle. Plus, had tons of leftover chicken which I've been eating for weeks. read more
