    Chicken enchilada dinner. Yummy!
    Debbie G.

Everything I have ordered is really good. This little restaurant has a constant stream of customers dining in and to go orders. The chicken enchilada dinner was delicious! Flavorful chicken with a tasty red sauce and cheese. The burritos are huge! This is not a fancy restaurant but consistently good food with reasonable prices.

I was very skeptical about this restaurant in Streamwood. Mexican food had not been much of a winner outside of Texas for me. Los Burritos menu is primarily in Spanish, the workers spoke Spanish, and the restaurant has good late night hours. There are several large tables on the inside and that is about it. You place your order at the counter and wait to be called when it is ready. I ordered a beef burrito. What I received was a pretty hefty sized burrito. No complaints here. I took it home and went to work on it like I had to eat it to save my life. It had a pleasant mixture of tender beef, guac, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I finally found a decent burrito in Illinois that is somewhat similar to home. As I finished, the burrito sat with all of its weight in my stomach and I was happy and full. My companion had vegetarian nachos and enjoyed them too. Satisfied, I returned a couple of weeks later and had a chicken torta. Again, I received a fairly large sandwich. I took it home also and found it filled with lots of chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cheese. The chicken was browned, seasoned very well, and it had a good flavor to it. The bread was also toasted to enrich its flavor. I was again full and satisfied after eating! I have faith that Los burritos food will come through every time I go.

This is a great store front Mexican restaurant that is perfect when you want a quick bite. (We were in and out in 30 minutes) We were waited on right away and our waitress gave us complementary chips and salsa. My husband ordered the Giant Ground Beef Burrito and I ordered the Giant Chile Relleno Burrito they were both amazing! You can tell they only use the freshest ingredients! They bring you a red sauce and a green one! I love the red one it adds so much flavor to the burrito and a little spice without burning my tongue. For dessert we both had Strawberry Churros which were so delicious (there was a decent amount of filling too) We highly recommend dining here. Our bill was only $22 (includes tip but does not include beverages - we only drink water)

Quick lunch stop before heading to our final destination. Service was quick as the place wasn't busy for a Thursday afternoon. Our server brought us chips and salsa as soon as we sat down. The salsa was good and had a nice kick to it. The torta I ordered was fine. The chicken was super thin though. I could have used more meat. My dad had tacos of asada and they were topped off very well. My mom enjoyed her caldo de res which is hard to find apparently. Simple small restaurant but it was descent and the food was warm and brought out in a timely manner. The aguas frescas were delicious! First time I've ever finished my drink before my meal.

I've been coming here for years... at least 10yrs and haven't experienced this before. My order will be missing something small, but my whole order was wrong yesterday. I got a suizo buritto received no cheese. In the past I would always ask for an order of tacos and would get two, did something change? I ordered 4 orders and got just 3 tacos and you see the tamale.. So I went here yesterday and my order was all wrong and then I found this...

    Steak Nachos

Ordered this for delivery and was very pleasantly surprised. Given the fairly low prices, I was surprised both at the enormous portions (including generous helpings of meat and cheese) and quality of the food (especially the freshness of the tomatoes). I was quite happy that the food itself was not overly salty or overseasoned and that i was provided with very generous amounts of salsa with the steak nachos and taco dinners that I ordered. Had I known that each taco would be stuffed so full and that the nachos would be piled so high, I could have easily halved my food order. However because of this, I know where I will be ordering my next football game snacks from!

At 9:50 am, I ordered 2 different burritos and both were incorrect. I asked for a steak, beans, eggs and cheese burrito and they made it without the steak. I repeated it 3 times to the cashier. The second burrito was supposed to be a wet burrito half Al pastor and half steak. It was also incorrect. I called to inform them and told them the errors but they stated that I didn't order those things. This is literally what I order every time I order a burrito. The customer service was lacking and they did not try to rectify the problem. I just wanted to hear a sorry or some sort of accountability but was let down when the person on the phone just argued.

This is a steak taco. Not a steak quesadilla!
    Jennifer L.

They don't make quesadillas for sure! My daughter wanted a steak quesadilla and they literally gave her a steak taco with lettuce and tomato on the side. You can't see the tomato because it's covered by the white paper. My daughter tried to get more cheese in it and get it more like a quesadilla but they wouldn't do it and told her that's how a quesadilla is made. (No it's not) Then she tried to just return it but they wouldn't let her. So if you want a quesadilla. Don't order one from here!

Our $100 bill covered: - a frozen mango margarita (towers, which are equivalent of 5 margaritas, are available too) - cosmo martini - saganaki appetizer lit up table side - elotes tamales - carnitas burrito - 2 kids' meals - complimentary chips and salsa - tax and 20% tip Service was extremely attentive and pleasant! I finally found the right time to try this place, being in the mood for a dine-in Mexican dinner…read more It's a nice place with pleasant servers, and kudos to the guy who filled my water 3 times. I was torn between a chicken mole dinner or just good old tacos. I opted for the tacos Al pastor with rice and beans. I have had Al pastor at many, many places, and it's been interesting to see people's takes on the recipes. These were, hands down, the best I've had anywhere. The meat was charred nicely, yet tender. The marinade/sauce had the perfect balance between the sweetness of the pineapple and the counterbalance of the lime, cilantro, and onion. I was so proud of my selection, that I ordered some to-go for my daughter to try. I also had a delicious strawberry margarita and finished off with a tres leches dessert. Everything was superb! I'll be back for that mole someday, and will also try their Taco Tuesday. Judging from my food, as well as the presentations of others choices that I noticed, I believe their chef is seriously talented and creative.
