Fresh seasonal ingredients that are complemented and enhanced with the perfect flavor profiles. Nothing was too much - the flavors were balanced and kept you wanting more. So many things very obviously house made with the utmost care - from the fresh warm bread, to the perfectly spicy ginger beer, to the highest quality chocolate desserts. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely hospitable and welcoming - they seem to genuinely enjoy working there. The ambience is exactly what you want for a nice evening out - warm, dim lighting, clean, calming atmosphere. Highest compliments to chef Stephanie and her staff! They'd been coming there for decades (she was a ski racer) and loved how the more recent owners had transformed the place. Their spontaneous and friendly approach perfectly captured the ambience. There were smiling faces abounding not only amongst the helpful staff but with the groups of diners. At the corner table and couch was a family with young children doing school homework. The staff all spoke excellent English and made us feel like regulars.
