There are about a dozen ways to get up to the Mirador de San Nicolas and it's one of the to-do…read morethings for visitors to the city. If you're in shape and able to walk uphill for 20-30 minutes then I would advise you to take the long way hike. It's a good way to get to see how people live there in the Arab Quarters and there is also a church with a tower that you can climb to get a good view and also some ruins along the way. You have a great view of Alhambra which you can see from the numerous pictures of it from the mirador but I think you can find more interesting shots of Alhambra walking up the Camino del Sacromonte. Try to get up here around sunset or sunrise to get some nice lighting on The Alhambra. Afterwards, enjoy an ice cream or a batido shake just below the lookout before you head back down. There are people hanging around the lookout who are selling trinkets, art and also smoking weed, gypsies playing guitar and singing. It's a casual atmosphere and nothing to worry about with families running around, couples taking in the romantic view and everyone just hanging out.

Just finished up the second last week of La Vuelta with CC. Absolutely loved it. Lots of climbing…read more(the routes for each day are a portion of the official race stage). CC was a wonderful group to tour with. Maggi, Dean, Geoff, Jose, and Santi were great to deal with, and were very accommodating and flexible. The guides were very knowledgeable, and provided a great experience during La Vuelta, including some very cool VIP experiences. I would recommend them for any level, as they are more than happy to tailor the trip to your level and needs, including a swap to an e-bike halfway through for one of the other riders. Overall, an A+ trip and tour.

We were set up by the company owner Jeff who explained the route, provided us with great Orbea Spanish road bikes and set us on our way. Luggage was delivered daily (like magic it appeared before we did). And the hotels were so well chosen - each different in style and some very typically Spanish. Just perfect. But for me the best thing was the route they planned. It was so quiet in the countryside and the scenery delightful. The only complaint was the weather - we hit a really unusually rainy and cold spell for this time of year. We were offered a transfer on one particularly cold day, but we decided to ride anyway - and I am glad we did as the sights were great, even in the rain. Will definitely be heading back to do another bike tour in Spain with them. Well done guys!

Our friends recently visted Granada and loved their trip. They mentioned a need spend a few days…read morewalking or rent a scooter to see everything. As we came to the bus station, we saw an information booth that sold Segway tours and my wife was sold! We were not disappointed. The tour was about 1.5 hours long, with about 30 minutes for setup, etc. Our guide Loretta was wonderful. She was fun and cheerful as she showed us around, stopping occasionally to help us or explain certain things. The tour was wonderful and I would love to give them 5 stars, however, they sent us to a flamenco show which was extremely poor. In Granada, many companies that work in the tourism industry sell vouchers to their attractions at a steep discount to other attractions for resale. Here, Play Segway sold us a deal to the flamenco show which I highly recommend you avoid. Since the Play Segway does make a cut, I did e-mail them to let them know of my issues, but didn't hear back. Unfortunately, the weather decided to turn on us the day we were scheduled to cycle Granada. This is where Granada Electric Bike's exceptional service outshines others. (1) Javier (funny and friendly assistant) guy at the counter was willing to help us check the weather......then offered for us to change dates for a sunnier day.....at no additional cost. (2) the training of how to use the bikes and segway (which is bookable via tour) was both fun and informative. (3) Javier gave us some terrific recommendations on tapas places and where to cycle for sight-seeing. All around a very pleasant experience!
