18% gratuity...wtf!!!! yesterday tuesday july 18th 4pm the place was empty no music the depressing news was on and paint is chipping off the wall and this place charges me 18% gratuity. we were a table of 5 . my kids and wife the bill came out to 100.00 from a total of 71.00 without the gratuity charge. first of all the math was wrong and second the waitress did not know if the gratuity was 15 or 18 %. until she asked the waiter. i was a devoted customer until yesterday. lobo del mar , la ola del mar , fogo de chao , michael jordan's steak house , buffalo wild wings and so many more restaurants does not charge gratuity tax. what's wrong with these people. farewell to los corrales !!!! read more

My SO and I have been visiting Corrales since they opened. We have seen the changes through out the years of them expanding into a larger section and their menu. Los corrales is by far our favorite go to spot. Breakfast? They got it, something cheap and fast? No problem, if you're in the mood for a larger meal, drinks and entertainment? Right here. We have tried everything on their menu and have yet to find something we DONT like. The service is has always been great. read more

This review is based solely on the service. Our waitress took our order and never checked in with us again. I'd be more understanding if the restaurant were busy but it was dead! They charged us the gratuity on our bill, which I assume is the reason the waitress didn't care. I recommend the location on cermak over this one hands down. read more

Los Corrales has delicious food and friendly staff. It is a great casual sit down restaurant and every person I have brought here has loved it. From simple tacos to chile rellanos to huaraches (first time I've had this and our server was very sweet and explained exactly what it was, I love trying new things- I had the squash blossom huarache. It is a giant soft flavorful corn tortilla topped with your choice of topping and then covered in lettuce, tomato, crema, red sauce....yuuuuuuummmmm) to burritos and guac. Their salsa is spicy, warm and unique. The chips are crunchy and fresh. The bowl of pickled veggies they bring are the best I've ever had- including the ones I've make at home ;) We have tried over 12 menu items and each one was awesome. I'm SO happy to have found Los Corrales. I found Los Corrales here on yelp and am thankful for the others that reviewed it! read more

I think it's hard to stand out when you're a Mexican restaurant in Berwyn. But Los Corrales has always been reliably great and delicious. They have all the basics you would expect, and they do a couple of things that set them apart. Their quesadillas are huge, there burritos are nice, and there Margaritas are super. I have Ordered from here a few times through DoorDash they deliver to my job. This place is kind of hit or miss some dishes are delicious and some aren't for example I tried the enchiladas Potosina's and they are very delicious they are made with a Chile Guajillo sauce and are very authentic but I tried the green enchiladas and it tasted like they just grabbed their green salsa and poured it over tortillas and it was very very spicy and I could not eat it. I ordered the Bistek tacos and The meat is very flavorful and delicious. Sorry no pics because the delivery driver carried the food wrong and everything was all over the place. read more

This place does NOTdeserve any stars! Absoulutly dispicable service. My wife and two kids went to this place this morning. We had never been there, nobody greeted us so I went to the front desk to ask if we could have a seat. The lady said we could have a seat anywhere. We sat there for over 10 minutes and other customers were served or at least greeted although they arrived after us. We got up and the employees looked at us, ignored us and didn't even try to stop us from leaving. I never post on yelp unless its a positive review because I don't beleive in hurting anyones business. I hope management reads this and makes some corrections. read more

Free chips & delicious, warm homemade salsa + bowl of spicy pickled carrots, jalapeño and cauliflower to start. Had to refrain overeating before my food arrived, a wise move as the chicken breast hurauche was enormous (just had the leftovers for lunch). Easily enough for 2. Delicious, am now obsessed with hurauches. Am (obviously) a carnivore but loved the thick fried corn tortilla, beans, lettuce, cheese & green salsa combo so much in itself might go veggie next time. Cherry margarita was awesome, like a cherry icee with booze in it. $4.99 for small (plenty for one person) one M-Th drink specials (32 oz one $9.99!) Their website is mostly in Spanish, most of the clientele including myself spoke Spanish with the staff while Univision hummed in the background. Authentic, well-priced and terrific find. read more

I love Los Corrales is the best place!!!! I went to Aguascalientes and Los Comales and they suck!!! The last time I went to both places I was very dissapointed with their food.
