The location is convenient since its along the Jardín and parroquia San Francisco de Asis. The server took a bit longer to take drink orders and/or appetizers. Once ordered, drinks took a while so we only had one alcoholic beverage. (Oh well). The queso fundido was mediocre because the cheese was not a traditional mexican cheese. It was similar in texture & taste one would find with velvetta cheese . The tortillas provided were handmade for the queso fundido so i gave them that. The sopitos appetizer were good as well with jocoque & crema. The mole enchiladas were decent. I will have to say that the mole is really good used to make the enchiladas so thumbs up. However the enchilada tortillas were tiesas or tough to cut and chew. My summary of this establishment is mediocre and i expected better. I hope we will see improvements because i like to spend time in Villa Alvarez with family. read more
