I was so intrigued by the viral soft-serve margarita at Los Patios that I had to see it for myself and it did not disappoint! It was super delightful and refreshing, but not too strong at all. I also tried the quesabirria tacos, and they were absolutely yummy. It had this rich flavor that oddly reminded me of a Vietnamese dish, which was a beautiful surprise since I'm Vietnamese. With the World Cup happening, it's such a great vibe for watching the game, the atmosphere is perfect. The service did take a little while, but to be fair, I came in close to closing. They still took great care of us and never made us feel rushed. Everything tasted fantastic, so I definitely recommend trying the soft-serve margarita if you haven't already!

What a great place! The building itself is so bright and colorful, which makes it instantly inviting. They have THREE patios to choose from - one up front with umbrellas, one down the alleyway that has a pergola type covering and then a back patio that is fully covered. All of which are dog friendly The staff was so kind and were so thrilled to meet our dog(s). We were even able to order some grilled chicken for them. Their food and drink menu is quite extensive and everything is top notch! Highly recommend any of their street tacos and their spicy marg! Chips and salsa are complimentary!

Came here on a Wednesday night and it was pretty busy inside but service was fast. They have a lot outside the restaurant and plenty of street parking nearby. The restaurant is definitely bigger on the inside than it looks. They have an outside patio and plenty of seating inside the restaurant. They have a pretty big menu so lots of options. I love that. They also have a good drink menu with some good margarita options. There's plenty of options for non-meat, eaters, and veggie eaters. When you first arrive you're given chips and salsa to go with your meal. I also tried the shrimp chimichangas. Overall, my food was just OK I think even down to the chips and salsa everything was lacking a bit of flavor for me and a bit of seasoning. Service was good and fast and everyone was kind. I just wish my food had more flavor.

One of the best Mexican restaurants we've been to. The chips and salsa were excellent. We tried the Monster Chimi and it came out in a hot sizzling skillet with onions, peppers, and cheese. I loved how the cheese got super crispy and the food stayed hot the whole time. Highly recommend that dish. We also got the Alambre tacos, also served in a skillet and packed with so much meat. It was super filling and we had leftovers. The vibes were really cool and we will definitely be back.

It was our first time here. Smallish but spacious. The atmosphere is nice and they have Latin music playing. They serve complimentary chips and salsa along with a white dip that was semi sweet but tasted like chili cheese Fritos, it was good. Our food came quickly even though it arrived before our appetizer. We got the carne asada fries or steak fries and they were delicious. I got the chicken chimichanga and quesadilla combo. It was a great deal for $12.99. I didn't care for the shredded chicken. It didn't have a lot of flavor and tasted more boiled. The quesadilla barely had any cheese. I would sub the shredded chicken for steak. The beef taco was seasoned but nothing special. The rice and beans were just ok. The bf got carne asada tacos and it looked good, he enjoyed it. Our server was kind and the prices were reasonable. Overall the food fresh and pretty good so we would come back.

Food - 4/5 Nachos - 5/5 - The nachos are soooo good. I was so unexpectedly hit with a surprise with the the white sauce it came with, it was delicious! Shrimp Tacos - 4/5 - The mango shrimp tacos were really tasty too. The birria I have had better, but it wasn't bad! I'd love to get the carne asada tacos if ever in town next time! Ambiance - 5/5 - Beautiful, authentic spot. I felt like I was back in Mexico City! Service - 5/5 - Friendly, kind, and authentic staff!

Not to sound dramatic, but I knew in the first five minutes of my visit that Los Patios is now my favorite Mexican restaurant! I quite literally live right across the street, so the fact that I can walk to my new favorite Mexican restaurant makes me love it that much more! About a year ago, I saw their front sign go up, and my partner and I promised each other that we'd be there on their opening day. I would assume they ran into some unexpected challenges while preparing to open, but August 22, 2025 was the day we'd been waiting for, and we were so excited to fulfill our promise! Immediately upon entering, we were warmly greeted by every employee in the restaurant. Everyone was so personable. We decided to sit out on the patio because it was perfect weather. They have absolutely transformed the interior and exterior. I visited long ago when the building once housed Cafe Ventana and Diablitos. Their renovations look incredible, and I can tell they've put in lots of hard work to give the building new life. A server brought out complimentary chips and salsa right away. These are some of the best chips I've had from a Mexican restaurant. PERFECTLY warm, salty, and not too thick. My partner and I ordered pina coladas. Shortly after ordering them, a manager came out to tell us that their pina colada mix shipment hadn't arrived yet. He offered to drive to a nearby grocery store to buy some, but obviously I didn't want anyone to go out of their way for that! We totally didn't mind at all and appreciated his offer so incredibly much. That's some above and beyond service right there! We each had a frozen mango margarita instead. WOW! Strong, delicious, and refreshing. To eat, my boyfriend had the birria tacos, and I had the mango chipotle chicken tacos. Both of our meals came with a side of rice and beans. Once again, we were beyond impressed. Tell everyone you know about this place! It's pretty rare that you visit a restaurant on their very first day open and have a spectacular experience with no opening day flaws. I've already warned the managers that they'll be seeing me very regularly!

We're always excited to try a Mexican restaurant we haven't before and had heard great things from friends about Los Patios. Unfortunately, our experience was not the best... to put it lightly. I'll start with the highlight: the space itself is really nice, and they have lots of patio seating. Our waitress was friendly, but the service was awful. We did get chips and salsa as soon as we were seated, but it was another 20 minutes after that before anybody came to our table again. After we had placed our order, we had to flag down the waitress for refills and the check, which was a task as she only seemed to walk by us every 20 minutes. The drink refills took forever as we watched her set the cups down on an empty table and forget about them for awhile. My meal was alright. Granted, I had the Pollo Delight (their Arroz con Pollo), which is hard to mess up. However, my partner's Taco Salad, which I also thought would be hard to mess up, was a disaster. A few bites in, he pulled a chunk of chicken bone out of his mouth. The rest of it was bland and absolutely drenched in a watery sauce, so he didn't really eat much of it after that. During our visit, we watched multiple tables get seated near us and ignored to the point where they decided to just get up and leave before their server ever came over.

All the patios and the front one was the spot. After a long morning of looking at real estate investments, I worked up an appetite. We got the guacamole and the queso. Both were excellent. I love this neighborhood. This is a good get in our community. I moved on to the rice and seafood. Gigantic. Four people could eat on this dish. I ate for 15 minutes and it looked like I didn't touch it. Fantastic service and cute vibes. We worked, we ate, we conquered.

Came here for happy hour on a Wednesday with a friend and it was delish! They have a small parking lot next to the building as well as street parking in front and right across the street from SLU. We sat outside which they have decent seating for outside in front of the restaurant but also to the side that I think is going viral on social media because of the ambience. Unfortunately, it was full so we had to sit at the front. I love the chips here because they are thicker and crunchy and not the super thin type of tortilla chip. The El Jalisco Special I got was delicious as well. I can't recall completely but I think the appetizers were maybe $2 off and the drinks same thing $2 off (don't quote me though lol). Overall, would definitely recommend and come back!

Service was outstanding- their Tacos Al Pastor was delicious and margs were top notch- not too sugary. We did not go during happy hour but will be back!

I wasn't super hungry so we got chips and salsa and guacamole to share and my friend got the chicken fajita. The salsa comes with two different salsa options, both were a bit spicy. The guacamole was classic and came out with a cute serving spoon. They had lots of food options but it's a bit more expensive than most Mexican spots in the city. I think my friend was a little disappointed that there was an up charge to add vegetables to her fajita and the portion wasn't as big as she thought it might for a $20 plate, but it tasted good. We chose inside and although they have a couple tables out front, I realized they have a super cute patio out back. Our server, Obed, was friendly and explained everything we needed to know as well as answering all the questions! He was great! I had eaten a big lunch, so I ordered a couple of sides, Poblano Rajas and Half-Smashed Black Beans no cotija. For the table, my daughter's ordered the Classic Queso, and Chips & Salsa Two-Ways. The Queso was good but those salsas? They were really great. The red was smokey, which I love and not a lot of places do, and the green was a spicy pineapple, I think, it was so good! There was a Handmade Limeade ordered and it was so refreshing! I enjoyed the sides I ordered; I tasted the Al Pastor Empanadas, delicious and more so with that green salsa - sweet and spicy! Great spot I am glad we tried. Would love to return for a pitcher of margaritas when I am not driving!

It's been a few weeks since I had any pocket cash to go out to eat... so I decided to pick a food…read moresource at random for a Saturday afternoon, and I'm SO GLAD I did... You know how they say one of the best things about Mexico is the food? I have to admit, I would honestly wouldn't know and just have to trust the stories I've heard, as I've never been lucky enough to go to Mexico.... But all my life I've heard stories about people who go and basically remind you.. NEVER hit a restaurant for _authentic_ Mexican food. You want to hit the street vendors. Well, St. Louis has a fantastic surprise.. Now you can do that right here in the city! Part of a three-restaurant set up, Amigo Sole is the "street vendor" restaurant that's not on the street. (And having met the owner of the full set-up, I'm REALLY hoping i get invited to the grand opening of Jekyll & Hyde) As it was middle of the day Saturday, I didn't ask for anything alcoholic (so i don't know if the reviewer that asked for alcoholic beverages and was told they didn't have any was just unlucky or if it was true.) But I'll take a Mexican Coke over American Coke any day of the week (NO, get your minds out of the gutter.. not that powdered one!). Anyway, I went simple for a quick stop, and went with the Chicken Bomb. at the recommendation of the cashier and he was quick to name this one off.. (and always remember cashiers, have a favorite READY, so thumbs up to the cashier on this one!) . And then to my amazement.. no more than 5 minutes later, HOT, tasty, cheesy, chicken quesadilla style BOMB-diggity! (Ironically this one is not listed on the website menu, only the instore menu? Come on Sole, online is everything today :) ) Absolutely delicious food.. and absolutely messy too, as it literally would fall apart in my hands.. (HEY, that's a good thing!) As for the decor.. 100% true, as Amigo Sole definitely has SOUL! (and lots of soles!). Again Amigo Sole isn't designed to be a 'great sit down' restaurant, it's designed to be street-vendor FUN!!!! and with what decoration they have, it pulls it off fantastically in my opinion. So just based on my meal, what the owner told me about the Amigo Sole, you're getting EXACTLY what you're promised a Mexican street vendor serving fantastic Mexican street vendor food, only with a roof over your head the entire time. During the meal, met again (Who i believe to be) the owner of the store and talked with him about Amigo Sole and how amazing it was to me... and he told me about the three-restaurant combination. (And I apologize sir, but I completely forgot your name when we talked!). even mentioning they share three kitchens when it gets busy (so I was kinda lucky as i think the rain scared everyone out for the day), but I'm still hoping for the Jeckyll & Hyde invitation! (I'll even pretend to find a date if I have to for the upscale part!)
