I tried this place when they first opened and take it from a Mexican this is good food! I know authentic food and this is it. Now it is packed so if you come for your lunch hour order ahead, seems everybody else found them too. Some one mentioned that the rice and beans are the same everywhere.. umm NO, I actually judge a place on the quality of their rice, because I make the best Mexican rice (or so I've been told ) and theirs is on point, the rice is flavorful, butterflied and fluffy and moist. I was really impressed but the overall flavor and quality of the food. My wife and I ordered two burritos, I had a carnitas super burrito and she had a bean with rice and cheese as she is a vegetarian . I loved mine, the tortillas are especially good and my wife was did as well until about half way through she bit into a good size piece of steak, wtf??!!! I was really excited to see this added to door dash because there's not much variety on there. Unfortunately, this place is just okay. I didn't understand the al pastor flavor. It also didn't have pineapple with it which is something I'm used to having. It tasted more like pork with bland red seasoning. I know they're cheap, but it's just not worth it for me. Everything I've ordered just has tons of greasy processed cheddar cheese on it. The salsa containers are way too small. I've been seeing those a lot around here... you can't dip chips into them and it's barely enough to add any flavor to your food. Be careful the workers are doing some shady stuff or are just dirty and negligent i came here 4 months ago and found what appeared to be a toe nail in my burrito but i gave them the benefit of doubt most likely bone and just stopped coming what a coincidence that the first order i get coming back i bite into small pebbles the owner didnt even apologize just gave me my money back, i would eat here all the time and didnt have issue before but i will definitely not be coming back ! These are the first rolled tacos that I've found in S. OR that are done well! They call them taquitos, which is the same thing. Nothing better that 5 rolled tacos with guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes, smothered in a good range of salsas. If that wasn't good enough, we ordered the #6 carne asada street tacos, beans, & rice. We ate them as fast as we could since they were great. A final note about their salsa, one was just spicy enough to make my eyes water, which is perfect for me, and one was mild enough for those more sensitive to spicy/hot. This restaurant is kind of an offshoot from El Charro. It was started by a family member. The food is a little different though. It's like a Tex-Mex. The burritos are not like any other in town. We go there often. The food is hard to avoid getting addicted to. lol read more

Wow, my husband ate here for the first time and got the worst case of food poisoning. Three full days of being extremely sick with diarrhea, imodium, pedialyte, Gatorade, dehydration, could barely eat, and almost ended up in the ER. Worst condition I've ever seen him in. He ordered lengua tacos just before closing last Sunday. About an hour later, all his nasty symptoms started and the diarrhea didn't stop until Thursday. I am not sure what was contaminated, or went bad, but neither of us will ever eat here again. Gross. read more

They have whole beans if you ask and def in my top 10 most tasty grilled chicken burritos I get it dry with no cheese or sour cream, guacamole on the side so it won't get soggy, green salsa is the bomb and the street tacos are pretty solid as well. Absolutely the worst Burritos I've ever eaten and I remember Titos Burritos in Culver City as the best!! These were filled with unflavorable rice, grilled chicken that had spices added that were distinctly not Mexican, they then added something that supposedly looked like guacamole if quac was lite green in color and had no flavor. They added what looked like sour cream but it also was very thin and unfavorable. WOW, I can't believe this place looked so good from the outside but the people doing the food prep need better supervision as they just tossed everything together poorly. We took our food home and both the wife and I couldn't eat more than half before we decided that poor food was just that, poor food. We tossed the rest of the rice to the chickens and didn't even feed the chicken to the dog as it was that bad. Maybe if they got a food prep manager they can salvage what is a poor excuse for Mexican food. read more

How wonderful to finally have good food at this location! I had a couple crispy chicken tacos for lunch today. Very nicely seasoned chicken that was still moist, YEA! Topped with cheddar, lettuce, and tomatoes as expected and then crumbled cotija cheese for extra flavor. They have a great toppings bar with 3 salsa's, fresh cilantro, radishes, onions, and pickled veggies. My tacos were made fresh to order. I give the food and cooks a 5 star and all the busy workers even when they are super busy and it takes longer than expected. I get its busy and takes a bit longer and I am ok with it. But the young lady at the register can loose the attitude and rolling your eyes like I'm an inconvenience in her day. I ignored your shitty attitude and still tipped you. Tried Los Taquitos this morning. (sunday) Food was made fresh. I asked for Huevos Rancheros and they made them up for me even though they are not on menu.
