Stopped by Lost in Lava on Tuesday and had the best time. They were playing 90's grudge hits, the merchandise is bohemian and the atmosphere was chill. I felt like I was taken back to my 20's and it felt like a fun vibe. Me and a gang of friends brought our kiddos to the hot springs then walked over to get "Lost in Lava". Great place to visit for coffee treats and bathing suits. This small family owned shop has lots of options. Very nice service and the barista has her cute baby there to greet you. This is also a dog friendly spot. Water dishes were outside. read more

After camping nearby we stopped by hoping to get a good cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the Americano was so weak it tasted like flavored water. They must have only put one shot in the 16oz Americano. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Lost in Lava is such a vibe. By that, I mean completely relaxed atmosphere, and chill employees. I've stopped here twice now on separate vacations to Lava Hot Springs. I wasn't a huge coffee drinker the first time around, but now I can't live without it! I ordered the largest hot white mocha and it was GREAT! Perfect temperature, and the employee (a woman, I wish I caught her name!) offered me different types of milk, so I chose Oat! Lactose makes me sick, so I'm glad she asked! There are so many different drinks to choose from, and many different milks from almond, to 2%, to soy! They carry merch such as tshirts and hats, as well as candies, toys, and more! They even have a stage for people to play music! The first time around we were offered a guitar to have a little jam sesh with a musician. Such an incredible experience! I would highly recommend coming and supporting this shop out! You won't be disappointed! read more

Went in just to look around, and ended up buying 1/2 the store's merchandise for just a fraction of what I felt I should have paid for it (especially in a tourist town)! It's an easy going feeling when you walk in the door. The employees are awesome, and make it known they are there to help, but at the same time just kick back and let you do your own thing. This is a must visit if you find yourself in or near Lava. BEST STORE EVER! read more

If I could leave no stars I would!! I was in here 7/3 my son bought a poncho the owner had a sour face with us and wasn't pleasant at all my first thought was she could be overwhelmed BUT as soon as the (white people) behind us hit the counter to place their order she was all smiles and welcoming with them. A thought did enter my mind but I wanted to give the owner the benefit of the doubt so 7/5 me and my son entered the store to buy another poncho and there was a couple in front of us and a group of people sitting down. When entering the store we were not greeted only looked at. We grabbed the poncho and stood in line behind the couple, the owner took their order then when it was our turn to pay (keep in mind we were not ordering drinks) the group of people that were behind us sitting on chairs got up and walked up to the counter and started placing drink orders the own said nothing. My son saw how we were being treated and put the poncho back and told me "let's go mom we shouldn't be treated like this" there is plenty of small businesses in this town so my advice is save your money and buy your souvenirs else where and for good coffee go visit Idaho coffee company read more

The service is absolutely fantastic! Kind and helpful! Super fun little shop with temporary tattoos and apparel. The coffee was amazing. And I don't say this lightly. We are picky. Really really picky about our espresso. It was so good that the husband chugged his and went back and got a second. For reference we orders white chocolate peppermint americanos with whip. And chocolate americanos with a splash of cream. Will definitely be going back. read more
