This coffee shop is truly a local gem! They offer a variety of unique latte flavors, and I absolutely loved the sourdough chocolate chip cookie -- highly recommend it (not too sweet, with a tad salty)! We also got the black sesame latte and spicy chai. Both drinks had strong flavor profiles, the spicy chai lives truly up to its name - spicy (however we loved it). I also ask to have less sesame in my latte to tone down the sweetness and for me, the drinks were great no complaints. The staff was incredibly friendly and happy to answer any questions about the drinks. There are multiple seating options, with both low and high chairs, making it a comfortable spot to hang out or work.

I visited this coffee shop today for the first time. The location was somewhat convenient in downtown Castle Rock, CO, there was adequate parking (although I could barely find a place to park in the rather large parking lot on the side of the shop and in the back), the outside of the shop was not decorated in any interesting way, I was greeted upon entering, the front counter looked quite attractive and interesting and the employees looked fairly friendly, the shop was average size, had some interesting decorations on the wall, etc., was clean, and had an average amount of seating (not sure if there was an upstairs), my (food) lunch item was delicious, service was really good, my coffee was excellent, and the free WiFi worked well with a password.

Pretty hip, clean coffee shop. My bf and I stopped by after seeing how cute their holiday specials looked online. We parked in the lot behind the main street-- a bit cramped and difficult to maneuver, but it's free so whatever LOL. LostCoffee is right on the corner of Perry and Fourth. TEA LATTE (jade cloud, oat milk + honey): Don't see this type of green tea often! Their blend is more milk-heavy but still very silky and herbal. EGGNOG LATTE (oat milk): Tastes just like eggnog. Not for me, but my bf said this was one of the best lattes he's ever had ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Interior is very modern, minimalistic. Staff are super peppy and kind, and drinks come out quickly. One thing I wish they had would be coffee sleeves since their drinks come out REALLY hot, but otherwise impressed by this spot. Note: checking in gets you a free shot of espresso! And happy hour is from 3 pm - 5 pm daily.

I wasn't too impressed with the establishment, but the coffee was okay! I tried their seasonal Candy Cane Iced Latte. I liked that it wasn't very sweet but it had a very mild peppermint taste. We did have to wait a bit for our coffee, but they seemed to have their hands full with orders and not many machines to work with so they did the best they could! I didn't like that their menu didn't show any of their prices. One day I'll be able to buy what I want without having to worry about cost, but for now I'm a girl balling on a budget and would benefit from comparing prices. Parking - there is a lot around back! If it's full there's street parking available too. Not going to lie, we drove through the parking lot out back a couple times until someone left!

I worked here with my coworker and it was a great spot. The area is large with outside seating along with inside and a 'bar' counter area. There's plenty of plugs for working and free Wi-Fi. I loved the large windows overlooking the street in downtown Castle Rock. I got a seasonal coffee with lavender and it was delicious. Their ham and cheese croissant was also delicious. I was in the area on a work trip and my boss wanted to drive through Castle Rock (she used to live in the area). We came upon LostCoffee and decided to stop in. It was a BUSY local coffee shop but was super cute and was good! I ordered a basic vanilla iced latte but it was by far one of the BEST I've ever had. Most places have a bitter coffee so I have to cut that with sweetener, NOT the case with LostCoffee. The way I ordered it was PERFECT!

Located in downtown Castle Rock, LostCoffee is a cute little coffee shop marked by the black and green little "LC" flag. It is connected to a cute local bakery/cupcake shop next door. A quick glance at the menu and I knew I had to try the maple cinnamon latte with oat milk! I wish I had realized that the cute little toasted marshmallow skewer was a $1.50 extra (barista did not mention it although it is on the bottom of the "specials" page) because I wouldn't have gotten it but at least it made for an aesthetic pic! The latte was creamy and smooth and the cinnamon flavor was prevalent enough to add an kick to the latte! Definitely would recommend making a trip to this cute local coffee shop!

First time visiting. The staff were friendly and the menu was diverse. We order a pumpkin latte, green tea and two iced coffees. Also a chocolate croissant. All the drinks we ordered were served fairly quickly, we found each to be enjoyable. Unfortunately, the chocolate was forgotten by the staff. We had to ask for it as it was left in the oven/microwave. The good news is it was still warm and very tasty. Overall it is well worth your time to visit. The parking is fairly limited, the interior seating was a little uncomfortable, when compared to most coffee houses. Also the in stock coffee was fairly diverse, but had a limited amount of stock for purchase.

The coffee and tea are delicious, the best since my days in NYC! Strong but not acidic, the coffee has chocolate undertones. There are a bunch of choices for sweetness and dairy/non-dairy. I love the Bhakti Chai too. And, I love the staff! We went here about 3 times and ever since the staff greet us personally, chat with us and are just so friendly. Having frequented other local businesses that don't take the time, this is by far the best for customer service and quality of goods. Keep up the good work~ read more

I showed up 5 min before they closed and the woman who helped me was so friendly and accommodating. She had already cleaned and yet she still turned back on the panini grill to heat up my sandwich and dirtied the blender to make me a blended drink. As for the coffee, I had an orange mocha blender and it was delicious. Between the coffee and the service, I'm def coming back. read more

My job requires a lot of travel and countless meetings with individuals so I live off coffee. I am always looking for places other than Starbucks. This place has the best coffee I've had in Colorado! I wish they were closer to where I live but I know I will be going back again and again. Both their coffee and their tea are amazing, and I LOVE the Pumpkin Bhakti Chai! Staff was also great and I even met the owner, who was really kind. Great environment, not too loud, and plenty of seating. Definitely recommending this place to all my friends! read more

We must have got the service staff on a really bad day, both were grumpy and didn't seen to want to be there. It was pouring rain outside and we ran in to get out of the storm. Needing something warm and delish we ordered two coffees (and they did a good job of my soy latte). The coffee was good and they even had a GF cookie (only one) it was delish. I bet this place would be fabulous if the people there just enjoyed it more. Would have given more stars however the maybe we just got the staff on a bad day. As a coffee spot the way you are greeted definitely affects a rating. read more

We just moved from Wake Forest NC (home of Black & White coffee) and I was on the hunt for coffee that was on par with what we moved away from. LostCoffee is that!! The coffee is roasted to perfection and has always been perfectly made. My favorite is the vanilla latte with oat milk with the huge bonus being they make their own vanilla syrup. The staff has always been attentive and friendly. I love the intentionality of the employees taking the time to engage even my kids in conversation. Hands down the best coffee place we have found in the Denver metro area! read more

My go to coffee spot. The second time I went the girl remembered my name. They know how to make the best vanilla almond milk cappuccino complete with lots of foam where other places IF they carry almond milk will tell you it won't foam. Love love love Lost Coffee!! read more

I went this morning for the first time as I love to support local businesses. The place is quite clean and seems to have a fun atmosphere. I ordered a small chai (posted price $4.00) and was told the total was $5.05. I handed the barista/cashier the cash and then thought to myself, "wait a minute, that's too high". When she handed me my cup I said, "How did it go from $4.00 to $5.05?" She answered, "I don't know. We add tax." I said that even at 10% tax that would only be 40 cents. She said, "I don't know, that's just what it is." I didn't push the matter, but I won't be back. It's not the matter of the extra few cents, more that even though she was nice about it, it was the attitude that it is what it is.The chai was good, though. Bummer. read more

Great coffee shop. The staff is very friendly, and they offer free refills for iced coffee and hot coffee. The only negative is the close proximity to the train. It is LOUD when the whistle blows. Overall, great coffee, friendly service, and located in the center of town. read more

Best coffee shop in Castle Rock. The staff are all really awesome and fun people. Prices are great, and not just the coffee, terrific good sized pastry's. If you want something more their is a little sandwich shop next door who will bring you a lunch. Coffee, snacks, free Wi-Fi add a lunch from next door who needs an office. I have also found it to be a great place to watch the Broncos on Sunday with out all the drunks at the bar falling over you. Much more pleasant for people who want to go out watch the game but have outgrown the bar scene. read more

I know what you mean about the hard upsell in this place. I have gone there many times and I always spend at least $4 on a drink. I like the drinks, especially the unique flavors of lattes. However, I hate that the staff tries to get you to pay more. They always try to sell me an extra shot of espresso which adds like another $2 to the drink. $6 for a coffee? Come on! read more

So happy there's a good coffee place in Castle Rock. Best of all it is only 7 minutes away from our new house. Will be coming here LOTS! The Irish Cream is incredible! One of the best coffee places I've ever been to. Actually it is probably THE best coffee I've ever had! Forget that Starbucks slag and trendy hipster coffee places and come here, you'll be very pleased you did! Lost Coffee is a lost treasure! read more

This is our favorite coffee in Castle Rock however it could be better. The coffee is generally great but the the staff could pay more attention to consistency. I bought a pound of coffee and asked to have it ground for a paper cone filter which should be a fairly fine but it was corse and could have been used in a French press! Espresso drinks tend to be watery and should have more body and crema. Brewed coffee is always good and that's what I order most of the time. The pastries are top-notch, the coffee cake is my favorite. The environment is very pleasant but the sometimes grumpy staff is detraction. I read another review about grumpy staff so my experience must not be an exception. I will continue to go to Lost Coffee since it is local and so much is right. Train the staff and I will be forever loyal. read more

Stopped in for the first time yesterday afternoon and the Americano I had was excellent! Smooth and rich flavor, unlike a lot of the bigger coffee chains that taste burnt to me. Lost Coffee has one of the best espresso roasts I've had....added a little half and half and it was perfect. Will be coming back on my lunch break! read more

Just stopped in today for a Lord Bergamot Latte. My favorite place to meet clients and just hang out. The staff is always friendly and the owners are pretty kick ass. My company has done events at both locations and I'd highly recommend checking out both locations. read more

Not impressed! I travel for work and love to try out small (non Starbucks) coffee shops all over the front range. Unfortunately, Lost Coffee in downtown Castle Rock is another example of a Starbucks wannabee without the trained baristas. I ordered a latte with very little foam. I got in my car and started driving up I25 when I realized that over half my large $5 latte was foam (just air). Very disappointing and I won't be going back. read more

Just "meh." The coffee is ok, but the service wasn't great. There wasn't a line, but the barrista seemed annoyed that I was asking questions about the menu. When I told him that it was my first time there he just said, "ok." Certainly not enough to make me want to come back. read more

I asked the barista for a recommendation and she told me to try the maple bar, which was a white mocha with maple and I'm happy to say it is fantastic. I would order it again. They do offer sweets and savory treats. I just ended with a cake pop but would be interested in trying other items. The price of the coffee was about $13 including tip, my drink, and a cake pop. I think it's reasonable for the area and for what I received. They have a drive-through so if you are in a rush in the morning, it would be a very easy stop and they have a lot of seating space for people to work and converse. They also have these really cute swing chairs that I enjoyed. They have a rooftop bar and ample outside patio seating however it was really windy the day that I came so I stayed on the main floor. The only thing that would make the space better is if they had some sort of couch or relaxed seating. During that, another server who's section was next to the arcade room looked at me, made a "cut it off" gesture across her neck, and said they "needed to be done because they were ruining everything" in a very rude tone. If the noise level was becoming an issue, I completely understand addressing it but the way it was handled felt incredibly rude and unnecessary. I waited tables for 6 years when I was younger, and I would never have spoken to guests that way. Especially when families are using an arcade area designed for kids. I will say that both the hostess and our server, were very apologetic afterward, and I could tell they felt bad about the way the situation was handled and specifically the way I was spoken to. I appreciated their kindness and professionalism. That said, we genuinely love this place and think the food is great, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I had a side hustle job assignment in the very neighborhood mid-afternoon. And I simply didn't want to go there, work, leave and get home; I wanted to discover a business I have never been to. I hence googled bakeries and this cake shop came up. According to a little research, this shop opened its doors in January of 2021 by two sisters who are Colorado natives. This element added more excitement to my quick visit I made today. The Cake Company is adorable. From the exterior signage to the interior decors, everything that decorates the whole space matches the theme of the store. Mostly pink and off-white, they not only sell beautifully crafted cupcakes, pies, rice crispies, cinnamon rolls, to name a few, they also sell some gifts such as wine glasses, t-shirts, journal books, tote bags, mug cups, I mean you name it!! I was at awe standing in front of the showcase that displays all sorts of sweets. When one of the ladies upfront greeted me with a very peppy welcoming tone, she kindly said to take my time. I thus allowed myself to be indecisive for several minutes to take my time (LOL!!) Whereas the pies and cheesecakes to the right looked amazing, they also appeared a bit too big and decadent. Since I only needed one good piece of some delicious something, I opted for a cupcake as they aren't as big as the other sweets. Upon asking the same lady which ones are the most popular, she said it was either Berry Tilly or Better Than Sex. My instinct told me to go with the latter: Better Than Sex. The different lady transacted my purchase. She carefully put my cupcake in a single cupcake box. Just so you know, their boxes are tilt-free so your sweet stuff won't tilt inside it (unless you violently shake the box!) The cupcakes are $6 each. And yet, if you buy 6 or more, each price is reduced to $5.50 up to 11. If you buy 12 or more, each price is reduced to $5.00. 20% discount will be added if you purchase 3 dozens. The shop does sell gluten free ones and yet any of the discounts I mentioned don't appear to apply to them. After the purchase, I looked to the left to discover a little entry way to the store next door. It's Lost Coffee. The customers are free to go in and out between the two shops. This means that you can take your cupcake to the next store and have some coffee or tea to pair with it. This is another store that has this symbiotic relationship with their next-door neighbor business. I always find the concept so intriguing. Businesses help each other. As soon as I got back to my car, I immediately opened the box and started to dig in. And wow....I know this is such an ordinary statement but I will say it: this is/was by far the best cupcake I've ever had. It was perfectly moist in the sponge part with the perfect sweetness. After one bite, it was simply impossible for me to stop eating it although I wanted to save some for later. The cupcake thus disappeared so quickly in a matter of 2-3 minutes. Their cupcakes are phenomenal. There is no way you'll buy cupcakes from other places once you have experienced theirs. I am already pondering as to when I should go back. Discovering great businesses bring me joy; this is why I can never stop Yelping.

Tried Lost Coffee and honestly... this place gets it. The Pinemeadow latte with lavender syrup was the star of the show, smooth, lightly floral, and not overly sweet. Also tried an Earl Grey tea and an oat milk latte, both solid and well balanced. We grabbed a morning bun, cheese square and a chocolate pastry (name vanished from memory, taste did not ). Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully made. What really stood out is the variety. Their menu reads like a playground for coffee lovers, with plenty of sweet and savory options to explore. What can I say about this coffee place? Well the owner is creative and kind, the coffee is the best in Castle Rock, the location is GREAT, and the kids who work there and a lot of fun. Grab a coffee and some of those little donuts and go shopping at the barn. If your a busy mom then take some time for yourself, get a babysitter and walk around our cute town with a LC in your hand.
