On your end left you have all the accessories and the home ware with the changing rooms and customer service their also. Because of the method of folding clothes, this makes this store one of the messiest Primark especially on the woman's side. This store gets really busy weekday afterooons/evenings and weekends. So if you want a quiet shop and less queues go in the morning. The standard of clothes in this store depends on the affluence of area, and you can tell with this store. You will find the odd trendy item of clothing, which I got this cute pink jumper the other day. i come in here for the hope of finding that odd trendy item (you find more of the trendy up to date fashion in the Primark store in Ealing). I also generally come in here to get the basics, knickers, tights, bras the odd accessories. I still love the Primark for cost effective goodness.

I have the feeling This Shop Rocks has been under new management for the last few months, that, or the shop's buyer has simply increased their skills exponentially. Once upon a time I wasn't terribly impressed with This Shop Rocks' stock but now I'm routinely tempted by its great array of high quality vintage finery every time I step through the door. Yes, you can pay £100 for a pure silk fifties dress or twenties beaded slip, but if you like your vintage high-quality and eschew designer pieces in favour of the very best vintage you can afford, then you should visit This Shop Rocks next time you're on Brick Lane.

You walk down into the basement, and are greeted with racks of used records. (Other sellers has clothes, antiques, and whatnot.) I dug for records in the many spots for new arrivals and found about a dozen records that I snagged. They were in good condition and the prices reflected it. The employee that checked me out was nice as well, which is always a plus. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop by here to grab some records again.

Like a lot of shops on Brick Lane, Vintage Basement occupies a middle ground between the high quality and highly curated collections of Blitz and Hunky Dory and the cheap, not really all that cheerful piles of The East End Thrift Store. Vintage Basement's main appeal has been generally be price, previously offering everything downstairs at £10. This is no longer the case and whilst prices are still good, it leaves some items just out of the impulse buy territory. The clothes on offer tend to be a mixed bag, most tend to be of lower quality, but are fairly priced and if you can find what you want you'll leave having paid left than you would at Rokit or Blitz. If you're looking for something in particular, you're unlikely to find it, but if you're just looking to buy a few new fun things at reasonable prices it's worth taking a visit.

Similarly large with a good selection of vintage dating from the twenties to the eighties, Beyond Retro is a great vintage shop which is especially good for high-end vintage dresses and the like. Being a bit of a vintage snob I love Beyond Retro's racks of older items from the twenties through fifties. This is the place to find the perfect silk chiffon fifties dress or the ultimate embroidered silk satin kimono. Also notable is Beyond Retro's footwear section for vintage ankle boots, sandals etc. Don't take my word for it, visit Beyond Retro, I assure you you will not be disappointed.
