I had wandered into another place to see about getting some jewelry replaced but was ignored for twenty minutes and left. Did a quick search and found Naked Steel and promptly headed over. I was greeted immediately and was relieved they spoke fluent English. (Not that I expect everyone to in other countries but I'm still learning German and this isn't a topic where I want to wing it and hope I'm understood!) First I went to start having my lobes stretched again. I had started years ago but took out the plugs and have been wearing normal earrings, they were only mildly stretched. I'm so sorry I didn't catch his name (starts with an R, lots of great facial piercings) - he was super helpful and friendly. I also love the small, white glass tubes he recommended. So then I went back to re-do the nipple piercings I'd taken out 7 years ago (pregnancy and reduction surgery.) This time I got Dirk - I could not have asked for a better piercer to redo these. He was super gentle, patient, and always explained the process - the right side had completely closed and I had scar tissue that he wanted to avoid, the left side was still open a tiny bit of the way. He also explained that they might be a tad crooked because of this but I wouldn't have noticed had he not pointed it out. After all was said and done, they look and feel great!! The shop itself is a great atmosphere. Very clean and bright, awesome jewelry. They seem to be sure to greet & acknowledge everyone that walks in within minutes. Wonderful shop, wonderful guys!

This is the absolute opposite - white, bright, clean, with nary a bong or shitty band T-shirt in sight. The piercers are super, super friendly and don't talk down to you. Plus, multilingual! I spoke German to the owner, English to my piercer, and then came out to hear the owner speaking French to a customer. Prices are high for Berlin, but that's simply because a lot of places in Berlin suck - the prices are on par with an APP shop in the US, and so is the jewelry.

I felt very comfortable and the actual piercing was so quick and easy! I was in and out in less than 30 mins. The prices are totally reasonable too- €60 for the piercing + €20 to upgrade the jewelry (optional). Additionally, they were patient and happy to speak English which made me feel even more at ease.
