I had to bring out a different company to fix loud brothers mistakes. I would advise not doing business with them.

I wanted to do some electrical work at home and decided to get local quotes for the work. Part of…read moreit was to add 2 light outlets outside for flood lights. The second part was to know how much would be to add an EV car charger in the garage. From the 3, they were very responsive. I received a message back very early that morning to setup the appointment. The company is veteran own, a good plus. At the time of comparing the quotes, they all came close to each other. I noticed that the quote High Caliber Electric had sent had expired 3 days after I got it, very unusual as the quote normally has a longer time to decide. A day later it receive an email with from them with "year end sale" take 15% off. This definitely motivated me to to the project. Again this is within less than a week time span. I contact them and they send a different quote. That to my surprise it was higher than the original even with the "year end" discount. I told Robert basically how can this be, material prices can't change that much in very little time. He "made it right" and honor my first quote and added an extra discount. By now I'm like yeah, let's do this before things change again. Well, the appointment setup was really good. They communicated when they will be there and they were on time. There was a 2 guy crew. I can tell that it was an experience young guy and a newbie. Robert shows up just to go over the work. They hake a few hours to complete the work. The crew was good over all with a very minor issue a light bulb broke, no big deal that happened. The biggest deal was when I see the completed work outside. The boxes got the flood lights are that... an eye sore box that stinks out of the side of the house and not flush with the wall like the other ones. There is space and access to put the electrical box inside the house on the attic side. I was shocked. You will see on the picture the siding it's been replaced so again there is access to just cutting very minimal material. I contacted Rob again and explained that it's not mounted like the other fight fixtures, it's not flush to the wall. "Robert B. from High Caliber Electric: - That is a new construction type of installtion. In order to achieve that look we will need to cut the plywood and recess it into the plywood and it's a much more labor intensive installation. This is industry standard when installation after the house has already been built." If you are I. The market for done electrical work, be very careful and super clear with what the end result it's going to look like. They might appear to be the best deal and responsive but at the end it could cost you more to get the results that was expected. I'm highly disappointed. Keep an eye on red flags.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! Rob did not keep his promises, nor comply with his contract, especially to…read more'ensure safety and functionality' with an electric upgrade to the home. This company's shoddy workmanship resulted in a FAILED INSPECTION with a SIX VIOLATIONS. Several of the violations were "Serious Safety Concerns" per the inspector. Fixing their work and making the home compliant will cost thousands of dollars. The exterior meter main box cover was not replaced, it was found on the ground - the exposed wiring was an electrocution risk. In addition to the failed inspection, violations, and electrocution risk, there were other items of concern: - The electrician working on adding wiring to the panel stated a major appliance should be on it's own breaker and was not. He said that this was wrong and needed to be fixed. He said he COULD fix it, but we should have someone come and fix it. He further stated they had to get going to another job. This was part of the work they were hired to do. - There were multiple instances where the workers damaged and broke the homeowner's property. - Debris left in the home, work areas not cleaned up. Numerous times Rob commented how unsafe certain things were in the home and that they would fix it and make it safe. When they left early and in a rush and some things were not addressed, he responded that the items of concern were 'not in the scope of the work,' but they could come back for additional money. Per the inspector, these were basic things that, as licensed electricians, they were required to update and address. Given how badly things went, I question if they are actually even properly trained electricians. They were in such a rush to get to the next job that they made a lot of mistakes and did very poor quality work. Do NOT use this company.
