Great bfast!! I was craving an American breakfast and Louie's is so good!! Very nice and quick service. The breakfast burrito was really good! I loved their potatoes that came with my omelet.

Decided to stop by Louie's Cafe for breakfast before heading out of Leavenworth. This is a great spot if you're hoping for a cozy quick bite to eat. Our waiter was super patient and was able to seat our party of 8. We placed our order and the food came out pretty quickly. Loved everything we ordered, especially the breakfast potatoes that came with our entree. The country fried steak was hot and crispy on the outside and the salmon for the Benedict was fresh. It was a perfect way to end our trip.

You and your party have to wait outside because the dinning area is so small and there is no room to wait inside. We were seated immediately as there was no one else waiting before us. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. Our food came out fast and it was delicious! Everyone in my family agreed that the chicken waffles dish was the best! We would definitely come back next time we are in Leavenworth.

I'll be honest I almost let the 3.8 star rating talk me out of coming here. In a town like Leavenworth where nearly every place is competing for attention that number can make you second guess things. I'm really glad I didn't listen to it. This place feels less like a trendy stop chasing reviews and more like a genuine part of Leavenworth itself. The kind of spot that has been quietly doing things right while the internet argues over minor details. From the moment we walked in it felt comfortable welcoming and authentic. Not touristy. Not rushed. Just solid. The service was exactly what you hope for when you are in a mountain town. Friendly without being overbearing attentive without hovering and genuinely kind. You get the sense that the staff actually cares about the place and the people who walk through the door whether you are a first time visitor or someone who has been coming here for years. Now the food because that is what really matters was far better than the reviews suggested. Everything came out hot fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The flavors were balanced the portions were generous and nothing felt slapped together or rushed. This was not good for a tourist town food. It was just plain good food. The kind you remember afterward and find yourself comparing other meals to.

We chose indoor seating since it was scorching hot the day we came to dine. Table and chairs were kind of cramped indoors with very dim lighting. Service was good but not excellent since it was a busy place. We went for the Monte cristo and it was so filling! We also got the Belgian waffle and I would highly recommend it. It's topped with whipped cream and homemade strawberry syrup. The Irish coffee was alcoholic, which was unexpected when they asked to check our ID lol. I would definitely come back if I was visiting the in the area.

My group of 5 waited 30 minutes for Sunday brunch. We killed time by checking out shops nearby. The restaurant interior is small and service was kind. We ordered 3 eggs benedict, 1 bratwurst scramble, and a breakfast burrito. Everyone liked their food. I thought the bratwurst in my scramble was quite dry and I was expecting it to be juicy. The portions were good nonetheless and I took home leftovers. I'd revisit if I'm in the area again.

Get there early, they are popular. Our waiter was fun and great. We had mimosas and a coffee cocktail, all were good. The McDeezy burrito was stuffed full of eggs, sausage and cheese. This as delicious and filling. The Monte Cristo was not made the traditional way, it was more like French toast with sandwich filling. It was good. The avocado toast was delightful. Great breakfast spot.

We came here for brunch. You wait outside for hostess to seat you but there was no line so it was quick. To the right is for 21+ and then the left side is family friendly. We went to the right and it's high bar stool tables which was fine. I got the pineapple mimosa which was fine and then the louis omelette without cheese and onions. It was one of those omelette where they don't actually cook the ingredients in the egg, it's just like a burrito. It was really good though. The potatoes though were harder like didn't feel cooked through, which was disappointing. Our waiter was friendly though along with the rest of the staff.

Even at 9 a.m., there was a line, but it was conveniently located directly across the street from my hotel. The dining area was full, so the party took place in the bar area. The dish I ordered was the veggie omelette. Although it didn't meet my expectations in terms of taste, it was satisfactory. Even though the Bloody Mary wasn't bad, I preferred the mimosa. Overall, the experience was decent, with the mimosa being particularly enjoyable. The hospitality was commensurate with the quality of the food, and the service was excellent overall.

Had the chicken Caesar salad and it was SO good. The chicken was perfectly grilled and juicy, the greens were super fresh, and there was the right amount of parmesan, egg, and crunchy croutons. Dressing on the side was creamy and flavorful without being too heavy. My husband had the smash burger and fries, and that looked just as amazing -- crispy edges on the burger and perfectly cooked fries. Fresh, filling, and didn't feel like "just a salad." Absolutely delicious German Bavarian breakfast. Black drip coffee for free refill. We ordered Irish coffee, Bavarian breakfast with honey butter Waffles. The grilled potato's were crispy and smoky filled with grilled bacons' meaty aroma. Grilled mushrooms were smoky and tender. If the over easy egges could have been cooked less would be better. The honey butter mixture was not overly sweet, the butter and honey perfectly mixed together as a great topping for the crispy outside and tender inside waffles. They offered maple syrup on the side as well. The Irish coffee was filled with the aroma of the Irish whiskey but not overpowering by it. It was a great blend. Our breakfast meals were absolutely the most delicious ever!! I had the honey butter waffles - so yummy, delicious, and crunchy on the outside. The second meal was the two egg platter which was delicious. Two eggs, two huge sausage patties, two pieces of toast, and the other Best potatoes cooked in beef tallow!!!! Very filling. Our server was a very delightful, friendly, cheerful lady. We will definitely return. Highly recommend!!! read more

you have to check in with the host and wait outside even if it's cold because they have a small space. i liked the bacon eggs benedict, its just overpriced at $16. potatoes or salad is not included with the eggs benedict. the scrambled is pretty big in portion tho read more

Get the chicken and waffles. Even if you have tried chicken and waffles before and didn't care them like I had. These are a game changer. Loaded biscuits is a ton of food but also very good but was overshadowed by the chicken and waffles. read more

The food was really good. I had the veggie omelette with hash browns and rye toast. I requested egg whites instead of whole eggs, but it arrived made with whole eggs. I didn't bother returning it. It was still very tasty. The hash browns are just the way I like them, crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. The rye toast was thick and delicious. My husband got the country fried steak, over-easy eggs, and hash browns. He enjoyed it, but mentioned it's the first time he's ever ordered country fried steak where it didn't come with toast. We ordered a single French Toast to try. He had plenty to eat though and was satisfied. Our server was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was casual and cute. Came here for breakfast one morning recently with our daughter and her boyfriend. My husband wasn't particularly hungry so we decided to share an entree. Good thing he wasn't hungry because the portions aren't very generous. My biggest pet peeve though that I had to ask for some jam with the toast. Imagine my surprise that on the bill, I was charged an additional fee for a tablespoon of jam. Was very pricey for breakfast and none of us walked away full. I had the classic breakfast with thick delicious bacon, eggs, sourdough and the star was the potato cake with chive sour cream dollop. My parents had biscuits and gravy and the breakfast burrito. This is definitely an underrated spot for breakfast. I had the 2 egg platter with crispy bacon and sour dough toast. the toast came buttered with a side of rasberry jam that had just the right sweetness. the staff were friendly and attentive. going back this morning to try their chicken and waffles. 4.5 stars but I'll round up. Great breakfast food, Friendly service, and reasonable prices. The monte cristo I ordered with all turkey no ham. No problems doing this. Huge sandwich served with tasty potatoes. The Bratwurst Scramble wasn't as large as the sandwich but it was good also. Server constantly returned to make sure we were doing good. I would definitely return. read more

Louie's food and service is excellent!! The Dining Room is kinda tight and limited, but has a good vibe with relaxed decor. Go early or you may be waiting a few minutes to be seated. It's worth the wait!! I had the Eggs Benedict, my wife had the Veggie Omelet and 15yo daughter had Biscuits and Gravy. We each tried one another's food and liked them all, but thought the Eggs Bene was the best choice! The food is really tasty and fresh. I'll try the Monte Christo next time... We live 3hrs away, but we'll be back! read more

Absolutely delicious food and great service. I had the smash burger and it was one of the best burgers I had in a while. The fries taste like real French fried because they fry them in beef tallow. Will be coming back again! read more

Staff were helpful and friendly and while prices were about what you would expect for a boutique hotel cafe, I paid for my matcha without much of a second thought. All in all, Iconoclast is a great spot for guests and non guests alike to grab a drink, browse the shop, or just hang out and enjoy the modern yet cozy atmosphere.

Will definitely be back, and might try to recreate some of these menu items at home-yum! Kind staff and some street parking out front- no harder than the rest of town. Remember to register for parking even in the free 15 min because there are patrols out a lot.

I wanted to share my recent experience at your establishment, as I believe feedback can help improve the overall guest experience. During my visit, I encountered a situation at the entrance that left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome. When I arrived, the staff member at the door was not friendly and seemed skeptical about my service dog. Despite my attempts to explain that I was trying to enter and join my friends who were already seated, I was met with a series of questions that felt dismissive. As a result, I decided to leave my service animal with my friend outside and went in to speak with the owner. I ultimately informed my friends that we would not be dining there due to the lack of support and understanding from the front staff. Given that the restaurant was not busy at the time, I found it particularly disappointing. I believe that every guest should feel welcomed and valued, especially those with service animals. A friendly and accommodating approach at the entrance can significantly enhance the dining experience. In the first photo, the grilled cheese from a kids' meal came out nearly blackened far beyond a normal golden toast and not suitable for a child to eat. When I mentioned it, the server said this was "how they normally make it." I asked for a remake, and the second photo shows what came next. This time, the cheese wasn't even fully melted and the inside was still firm and cold. It honestly felt like no real effort was made to fix the first problem before sending the food back out. Both the kitchen and the server's dismissive attitude felt unfair and unprofessional, and the experience was upsetting enough to make me question whether we were being treated differently. First burnt, then unmelted... a basic grilled cheese couldn't be prepared properly either time. Looking at the photos, there's really nothing more to explain. read more

This place was amazing. My expectations for a little town were low. But I lean just breakfast you can't really go wrong. This place was soooo delicious we had it two days in a row. We tried the bacon Benedict. Best hollandaise sauce everrrr. Amazing flavor. I wish this player came with the house potatoes as well but still amazing. We had the basic egg platter very good but also very basic. We had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was amazing. The waffle was good. We also had the pancakes. I'm not a huge pancake fan. But these pancakes with whatever syrup they have are amazing. The pancakes had a little crisp to them. I loved them. The breakfast wrap / burrito was amazing. The sauce not so much but good. We were eating breakfast there a little bit ago with our rottweiler when the hostess came out grabbed my dogs face in her hands and then got in her face thinking she was cute! My dog gave her a warning that that was not ok and then we were asked to leave. My dog did nothing but tell the dumb woman that she had just violated her space. Leavenworth is a dog friendly town so that being said this employee of Louis's needs to be educated about how to approach dogs. I would not recommend anyone with a dog go to this restaurant because they are not dog friendly. read more
