Meat, meat, meat, meat, meat, meat! The location moved, and I sent the info to Yelp. They moved from one side of the General Store to the other... The new place is looking bigger and fancier than the older location. This reminds me of an old school butcher shop. You walk up to a giant counter for your selection. They are right there to ask what you need. So many options. It all looked so good. They offered side salads as well to complete your meal. There is a lot of seasonings and options that you can also pick up for your meat. Its so nice that there is this option in a smaller town like this. read more

Where to find good meat for my meat eating friends and family? Ohh..this place is where it's at. Nice local butcher shop. Its kinda small, but they have plenty of choices to choose from if your wanting grill out or just get a roast to bake for the weekend. Ribs, homemade hotdogs and sausages, pork chops, stew meat, chicken breasts, stuffed mushrooms and more. Prices are pretty good. $4.99lb for fresh ground beef. $7.99 for a local raised top sirloin steak. They also have a freezer full of frozen meats that are all natural, grass fed and GMO free. Wow! We loved it here! Good find if you are butcher meat shop enthusiast (or even if you're not!). Traditional real butcher shop. Quality meat and that genuine service! Meat sticks and ground meats and pork chops and steaks and little gems of bread and cheeses - this is a great find. And Louie's the real deal, everything is neat and clean and organized. He is busy passing down the craft to the young people which he had about 10 of them employed and working their tails off running around everywhere! Lots of activity!
