My first visit with her was 45 minutes. 45 minutes people!!!! This is extremely rare!!!!!!! My 2nd and 3rd visits with her were 40 minutes!!!!!!! Finally a Caring, thorough, well educated, progressive, young female Professional! I am very impressed and extremely lucky to have found her. She asked me how my rheumatologist visit went and was a satisfied. I was honest and said not at all. She ordered extremely expensive test then refused to prescribe anything for my pain! I've never encountered another physician who really takes the time to listen and engage with us like Dr Rubin does. She's extremely compassionate, caring and competent. She has referred us to several specialists along the way and we have been happy with each of those. She helped us through an episode of depression with my son, and issues with my visiting mother who's health concerns were complicated by dementia. Young or old you feel like you are the only person that matters when you are with her during and after an exam.

Her new office is small, seemingly by design, and personally, I LOVE it! I hate to feel like I am being shuffled about through office staff, nurses, and a doctor who only has 5 minutes to see me. All of the staff I encountered here are very friendly, courteous and seem to enjoy their work. It's so refreshing when people are genuinely friendly and caring, especially in the medical field when you're one in thousands. Her new office has all the latest equipment and technology (PCs in the exam rooms and no paper charts!). I have always found Dr. Rubin to be extremely friendly and personable, as well as knowledgable. She is a fantastic listener, and is never dismissive of any of my health concerns. I just had my annual physical and it felt like I was the only patient he had. He addressed all of my concerns and took time to examine everything carefully. He's also a great doctor that is sympathetic to "floxies...." which I am one. A Floxie is a person adversely affected by fluoroquinolone toxicity. He truly understands and is there to help. I am 76 year old runner who had run a half Marathon a year previously but fir the past year could…read morenot run more than a hundred yards without being gassed. Could barely walk up the 6 house hill on our street to walk the dog and my legs would fell like lead walking up stairs. Was told my General Doctor to see a Cardiologist. I did and Dr G ran a bunch of tests and diagnosed A-Fib and possibly some other issues. She prescribed a series of medications. Also Scheduled a Heart Catheterization (Angiogram) 1st to eliminate other issues and I did not need any Stents. Then scheduled a CardioVersion with Tee where they performed an Electric Shock to my heart to get my Heart back in rhythm. This worked like a charm and within a month I am back up to 6 mile runs! Dr G is AWESOME! She systematically analyzed my condition and got me back on track. Very thorough and great follow-up. I highly recommend her!

Dr G saved my life - not sure how to make it any simpler than that. She noted an issue I was having, kept following up on it and took action when I needed it. When I got an infection in the hospital, I had to see another cardiologist as she was out of town. He told me to take Advil and come back...I did come back. Dr G could immediately see it was sepsis and got me to the ER and saved my life. While I was in the hospital, several doctors told me that She checked on me even when I was "somebody else's" patient. You can't buy this level of care and concern.
