I never dreamed as a 55 year old woman with osteoarthritis, a prosthetic disc in my neck, neuropathy, fibromyalgia and a host of other various ailments that a Dr. would just let his patient stay in constant pain like this daily and not even actually SEE HIS patient. I get it's more $ for him to have a NP see patients while he sees his chosen patients and does procedures and after all it is all about $ in this world. But it should also be about ETHICS and OATHS taken by doctors to treat their patients properly and not allow them to be in this type of constant pain daily. I will never understand how a Dr. can sleep at night practicing in that manner. read more

Dr jolly was recommended to me. For back and neck pain. First visit was fine. The following visits? Only on Thursday. Unable to see a patient except one day a week. Can't go to the other offices. I wrk for a living. I can't mark off from work with out loosing a week of pay. So back in August I set up an appointment for September 3rd. to see dr jolly. I took a week of vacation to do so. It had been since March due to covid that I was able to see the fine doctor. I used the pain pills only when I was off work. Only when the pain was above a 5. So back to the point I checked in. Went p in a cup was shown a room. A PA. Came in. 5 minutes later I am walking out. No shots no prescription. 35 bucks to talk to some assistant? Really make an appointment? I had to take vacation to come today. So I contacted my primary doc. He referred me to a new pain management doctor. Great right? I called Dr jolly's office. To ask for them to forward my records. We will send you a release form. Two weeks no word. Three weeks I call back. Wrong office let me transfer you. They hung up on me. Call back to correct office. Ok we will get that in the mail to you. No word. Two weeks. Three weeks. Still no word. I took a week of vacation this week. To day I physically went to the Kenner office. I asked for my records to be released. We don't handle that. You need to sign a release. And we will send it over to the office that handles it. The reason I took the time to tell you this. Is I I have been in constant pain since September. No pills. No shots. And no professionalism from this so called Medical office. You are only allowed to get seen on a certain day of the week. It is at their convenience. You are not a patient. You are revenue. Your time is not of importance. Your payment is. Today is November 5th. Still waiting for release of my medical records. Buyer beware! read more

A little background: I have been to 4 different pain clinics searching for an answer to my chronic back pain. Each doctor gave me a different diagnosis, and I followed their instructions to a T. I was treated like a number instead of a person, and was given a large amount of medication, instead of being offered alternative therapies. Dr. Harlin is a completely different kind of doctor. I first visited him over on Prytania, and was diagnosed with yet another disorder. The very sweet PA (sorry I forgot her name!) took a lot of time to try different tests instead of just ordering an MRI. The doc came in and explained that he thought I had a muscular issue, one that I hadn't even heard of. He was completely empathetic and understanding of the fact that I didn't want narcotics or long term medication. He delicately and thoroughly explained the issue (with models and un-medical metaphors, instead of handing me a typed up sheet), and methods of treatment. We scheduled our next appointment for X Ray guided injections. I was super late the day of my injections. The 10 was a trainwreck, and so was West Esplanade. I called and felt awful, but the whole staff acted like it wasn't a big deal (didn't make me feel like any more of a jerk than I already did) and we got down to business. It was over quickly, and the X Ray tech as well as Dr. Harlin were again empathetic and understanding that I was in pain. I was informed of what my next steps were and sent on my way. I actually feel a lot better already! Knowing what is wrong with me (thanks to a very thorough diagnostic evaluation), knowing what to expect from treatment, as well as having the hope that I will find a way to be pain free. I cannot recommend Dr. Harlin and his team enough. I have never been treated so well and with so much compassion. They did't treat me like a pill seeker or just a number, they actually care! read more

Marrero office: admin: Worst attitude. Admins can make or break a practice. I've consistently experienced bad attitudes from them on several occasions. Normally I just put up with it, but I finally had it. It takes A LOT for me to write a bad review about a medical facility. But I've consistently received such bad attitudes from them, I just couldn't take it anymore. Doctors: Amazing!!! But it's hard to get anything done when the support staff are so bad, so mean, so rude. Dr. Jolly & Dr. Munshi amazing. I hate to see good doctors with bad staff. It's just a tragedy that the admins are so bad. read more

It's great to meet Dr. Jolly. But if you want to see him after your initial meeting, there is a 3 month wait!! Although if you want to be seen sooner than that, they can accommodate you with an appointment with one of the physician assistants. As far as procedures go, be aware that if you keep getting cortisone injections for your pain, they can put on 5 to 10 pounds on you!! So just beware. They may not tell you that unless you ask. read more

This place is a joke. They over book the appointments, it takes for ever to get in to see a PA because that's all you will see following your first appointment and only appointment with the doctor. The have never even given me a diagnosis but make it a point Of telling me they are doing me a favor. For what I'm not entirely sure because the PA never spends more than 5 minutes in the room with you. If your ever bored stop by the waiting room in the late afternoon for the entertainment provided by the patients, it's a 3 ring circus, however not for those unable to cope with F- bomb being dropped every other word by some of these people. I feel this is a result of being cooped up in a small waiting room for hours on end waiting for your 5 minute visit with the PA. Good Luck to anyone willing to take a chance. read more
