What a relief to find someone who knows what he's doing, is fast, efficient, and a great communicator. Robert is an arborist, as well as licensed, certified, and has an A+ rating on BBB. I inherited my large water oak when I bought my home, and little did I know that I inherited all its problems as well. In 2021, after Hurricane Ida, another company told me my tree was dying, but rather than explain what that meant, they gladly trimmed a few branches at the cost of an arm and a leg. 2 years later, while sitting in my backyard, a huge branch snapped and remained dangling above my neighbor's yard. I called Robert from Louisiana Tree Company, and he was at my house within 15 minutes on a Saturday. He diagnosed the problem - the tree was rotting and had lived to the end of its lifespan. By the end of the same day, he sent a quote and even offered to cut the dangling branch down the next day. He also offered to get all the branches off before hurricane season and take the trunk down after hurricane season, to ensure the branches didn't snap off during a storm and gave the option to make two separate (very reasonable) payments. Once I agreed, Louisiana Tree Company was out at my house at the time they said they would be and got the job done safely and perfectly in 5 hours. Thank you Robert! I HIGHLY recommend Robert and his crew at Louisiana Tree to anyone that needs a tree removed. Especially a tree that no one wanted to touch because it is between a power line, a swimming pool, a fence and a shed. Everyone backed away or over quoted us. Not Robert. He has a can - do super hero attitude. He has the confidence and experience to back it up. His quote was reasonable and he stayed in touch with us throughout the challenging process. First entergy had to come out to assess, that took about a week to get scheduled, then a first ever June hurricane decided to hit and pushed some jobs back, but Robert stayed on top of things and stayed in touch. He also emailed us his insurance info and certification. He is an arborist and licensed and he has no problem explaining everything. It took about 1.5 weeks for everything to be completed with all the crazy curve balls. His expert problem solving skills and dealing with such a dangerously located tree such as ours while keeping his sense of humor, remaining cool and professional throughout it all. His crew were equally brilliant and I am glad they weren't easily scared off to take on such a monster project. I couldn't have asked for better service. We needed to have a dead 30+ foot tree removed from our backyard. We contacted Robert at Louisiana Tree Company and he made an appointment to come out the very same day. About an hour or two later he emailed us his proposal. Because we live in a special tree preservation district, we needed to obtain a special permit from our parish council to remove the tree. Robert offered to facilitate this process by sending us the required forms, taking the necessary photos to be attached to the forms and then taking the forms, photos and permit fee to the parish office saving us days of trying to do this by ourselves. This was all included in his most reasonable job proposal. Robert and his crew arrived on time as promised to do the job. We were impressed by how courteous and neat his workers were. They removed all our patio furniture and plants from the area, then placed plywood sheets on the lawn to prevent gouging by the falling limbs. They continually raked and picked up smaller branches during the process. The tree in question was on the property line with our neighbor and Robert introduced himself to our neighbor, asking permission to go on his property to clean up some of the debris which fell across the fence. The cutting went quickly and orderly. We were impressed by how each worker seemed to know what needed to be done and took the initiative to do it. Once the tree was cut down and removed the workers did a final raking of the area, then followed up with a leaf blowing of our patio before finally replacing our patio furniture and plants. A few hours later another worker came by to grind out the stump. All business transactions with Robert were handled efficiently by text and email. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I requested an estimate on Tuesday morning and Robert was at my house later that afternoon to take a look. My tree was splitting in 2 places and was in danger of falling. He emailed me an estimate that night. As soon as I approved the quote, his insurance certificate was emailed to me. He and his crew were at my house Wednesday morning and were finished an hour and a half later. These guys were amazing. They worked and communicated so well together and seemed to truly enjoy what they were doing, but each other as well! They were like a well oil machine! And none have measured up to the service we received from Robert. Made a phone call and gave them the info and I had an estimate by that evening. I am shocked at these other reviews of excellence. I contacted this company by phone and it rang several time and a guy finally answered and just said "Robert". I asked if this was the tree company. He said yes and I explained that he didn't mentioned it when he answered. He then said sometimes he does and sometimes he just answers "Robert". I explained my tree and what I was needing done. I really needed my pear tree trimmed. It was encroaching onto my front porch and over my sidewalks and driveway. I wasn't sure what tree cutting service to call. I am not forgiving of service people down here in New Orleans. Feel free to refer to my Lowe's on Manhattan Blvd review. I mean I've seen it all. However, these guys are amazing. They mean what they say and say what they mean, which seems to be quite rare in these parts. I got another estimate and Louisiana Tree Company was much more competitive. They cleaned up after themselves and provided service beyond the call of duty. I nicely asked to poke some holes in the stumps and they graciously offered free of charge. Robert and his crew are great. They removed two trees in my backyard, both of which were very close to structure and difficult to reach as there is no driveway access. When Robert came to look at the trees, he talked to me to understand why I was requesting the services, and clearly explained how his crew would be able to accommodate those needs. He provided an itemized estimate as well as information about the trees I have so that I could make an informed decision (such as annual growth rate). Robert's estimate was significantly less than the other company I received an estimate from. On the day of the service, Robert and crew arrived at the agreed upon time and got started immediately. While on site, the crew was respectful of my neighbors and their property, as well as mine.
