I'm giving this company zero stars. When you shell out $450 for an appraisal you expect to have a competent person do your comps. This woman apparently has no idea what a historic district is and was very subjective in the pitiful comps she pulled. When confronted with a dozen more comps that were closer to my home and at higher values she ignored them and stuck with her inferior claims. To put things in perspective. We had an appraisal done in 2008 and she has valued our home $6,000 lower than it. Having done my research....my neighborhood has held its value or increased since then. DO NOT use these folks. They are not familiar with Hillcrest at all. read more
