Not only is their selection wonderful and totally a one stop shop for quality gently used kid's clothing, toys, books, etc - the store owner & associates are entirely kind hearted, genuine, helpful and warm. The service they provide is second to none in the retail industry. I was in the store trying to find a last minute dress for my 5yr old's school dance, and ended up finding hidden gems, one after another! Styles that I fell in love with, and hadn't seen anywhere else. You can absolutely see how much care is taken when accepting items to buy or trade, they uphold solid standards, which I really appreciate. The prices are very fair, specially due to the quality they accept and you can tell prices are not marked up unnecessarily. Wonderful local small business that's endured and persisted in these challenging times. Lisa the owner provides essential services to the community by offering gently used and new clothes for babies through teens (some teen items like shoes fit adults just fine ) at very reasonable prices. The store is well organized by size, gender, and type of apparels. There's a nice and clean bathroom with changing table and even diapers for those with babies and toddlers. There's clothes for all sizes and gifts too. There's even a small but wide selection of baby and kids books. Definitely come and support this local small business. Also this store believes in personal responsibility with regards to masks and you're welcome but not required to wear one. Of course everyone should only go out shopping or go out to do anything at all if they're well. And as always be sure to wash your hands frequently. Peaked in here while in the area.... A cute little boutique like store that sells mostly used children's clothing/toys/accessories, and some new items as well. this place is very clean with a fresh smell, none of that stale old clothing smell that sometimes comes with resale. The items on the racks are all pretty cute, clean, and in very good condition. Items are fairly priced too. The lady working was also very kind and friendly. What a little gem of a store!!! I have a 5 year old son and 1 year old daughter and have never been here, my bad!!! I brought in a bag of clothes that were collecting dust in my garage and the owner happily took half the bag- I was going to donate the bag before driving past here for the millionth time and I finally carved time out of my morning to stop in. The owner explained the selling/buying process and I happily spent the $34 store credit on new clothes for my babes. I will absolutely stop in here more frequently! Also note, results may vary! When my sister asked me to buy some winter dresses for my nieces, I inwardly groaned because: 1. These are items that are best bought in person rather than online, 2. What do I know about children's clothing? I don't have kids, so I don't know the best places to go. Off to search on Yelp, and I found Love Child Resale, close to where I live! The store is small, but they pack in a lot of clothing and toys in it, all very reasonably priced. After searching online and in various other stores, I found that for some reason, it's hard to find winter dresses in the winter. Luckily, they had the perfect dress, in my niece's favorite color, at a rock bottom price. I picked up a long sleeved Ralph Lauren dress, in very good condition (No tears or stains, only slight wear from washing), a dress that is $45 new, for just $5.50 used here! Items were easy to browse through, as everything is nicely separated by size. If I need to buy kid's clothes again, this is a good place to go! read more

I shop here fairly often. They have a good selection of dressier clothes. If you just want leggings and t-shirts, this isn't really the place. It's also good for shoes and coats that only get light wear. If you want to sell clothes, it's not really worth it. I've taken in huge bags of clothes and been offered $5 in trade for the two things the owner picked out. It's really not worth $5 in used kid clothing to lug the huge bags in and out. Save yourself the trouble and just give it to charity and take the write off. read more

I've outfitted all of my 3 kids with things from here starting with my soon to be 18 year old, and now my youngest 3.5 year old. Love this used children's boutique! This is my go to place for secondhand (& many new items), clothes and toys for many years now. All great brands that are made well yet affordable. I love supporting locally owned businesses and they always have a great selection. Its conveniently located next-door to Trader Joe's & a beloved bookstore so I stop in weekly & when in need of gifts, shoes or a cute outfit for the littles. I was just able to snag a couple pairs of brand name uniform shorts for next to nothing & my kiddo picked a fun toy for getting good grades. Also a good place to bring your gently used toys and clothes to keep the cycle going. Buy/ sell/ save $$$. Bonus. My favorite music is always playing so I stay a little longer.. I have found Love Child Resale (much like Buffalo Exchange) can be quite picky with what they take and what they don't take. Additionally, I have found that when I visit their store I find GREAT items at times and some visits I find nothing worth buying for my son. However, I have had 2 WONDERFUL purchases from Love Child Resale. One was a HUGE Elmo (almost the size of my toddler...I think Elmo is bigger, in fact) for $16. Most recently, I picked up a red Radio Flyer scooter, also $16, in great condition. Shhh...I picked it up for his birthday. Don't tell him! :) The staff is friendly...although often busy and not always very chatty. If you have to wait for them to consign your clothes, Trader Joe's and Changing Hands is right next door. However, I would NOT recommend Turn Style Consignment! read more

I took a large tub full of clothing to trade and was not disappointed! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they priced my items very fairly. The store is bright and clean, and is extremely kid friendly. They have a large selection of books and videos that all look like they are in brand new condition. The clothing is well organized and clean. I have nothing but great things to say about this store. It is definitely worth it to stop in and see what you can trade for new clothing. I purchased all new pajamas for my sons as well as several trucks and books with my trade money. The only tip I have is to avoid lugging your trade items through the busy parking lot. The staff recommended to me to park curbside with my hazards on, drop off my trade items at the door, then park and go inside. It would have made the trek with the kids through the parking lot much easier of I would have dropped trade items off first. Live and learn, or just read Yelp first next time! :) read more

Well, finally found a place to park. Major parking problem. I was not impressed, small store and not many choices. Most clothes and toys were clean, just not much to choose from. I didnit find anything to buy today, but I do not think I will challenge the parking again. I did find these guys from craigslist- I saw something in the backround of a pictured item they were selling. So thats why I came here- the thing I wanted to buy they would not sell to me. I can't believe Ada G. beat me to reviewing this place. They weren't in Yelp before and when I tried to add them it wouldn't work. User error I'm sure. Maybe should have tried before that glass of wine. Anyway, 80% probably of the toddler's grossly packed closet comes from here and because I'm such a clothes whore, it's obviously worn off on him. (Possibly projected.) Aside of liking the price of $8 Adidas pants rather than paying $35 (yes, they're really $35 in real life) I really like the aspect of recycling/reusing things. It's like kittens and puppies. The world doesn't need more kittens and puppies so you should get yours fixed, likewise why keep those sweatshops working double time? OK, my analogy really sucks and I clearly shouldn't be Yelping while drinking but if you have children, come here to shop. I outfit my beautiful long haired boy in Ralph Lauren, Adidas, Puma, Quicksilver, Volcom and most any big label that floats your boat. (They also have Ed Hardy but please people, that so overdone. Please don't put your children in it. They'll look like last years seconds.) They also have a nice selection of toys, puzzles, books and the like. Good puzzles too. The nice, thick wood kind and sometimes you can find the cool retro wood toys here too. I've even seen a Bugaboo Frog here once. I really liked this consignment shop although a little small. I found maternity clothes in great condition and at a super reasonable price. I found a belly bandit - belly band for maternity too. Baby Wooden Toy was like new. The store also provided 3 decent dressing rooms and clean restrooms. I sold an item too for a reasonable price. THIS PLACE USED TO BE CALLED BUFFALO KIDS!!! This is a wonderful gently used kids clothing store that only caries the best of the best used clothes! They are extremely selective! I brought in a bunch of stuff for trade, thinking that all my beautiful pieces were exactly what they wanted. They only chose two items that were worn twice! Quality and selection are always the best here. You pay about $2 premium over other resellers, but I like to think of it as a service charge for the work they do to filter out all the ugly used clothes. Ive been meaning to write a review on this place for a long time. This is a GREAT resale store and you really need to go through each item carefully. I promise you will find something completely unique and name brand. They have a huge inventory and everyone here is SO nice and helpful. Also, the prices are incredible. I leave here with bags and bags of items....always. I know how resales work because I have a friend that owns a large one in Phoenix. They may not take your items because sometimes they already have a lot of those items already in, or maybe it's not in with the season, or maybe it's a design that just doesnt sell quickly off the shelves. It's always easy for us as buyers to question why a resale store wont take our items, but I feel like they have always been fair. You have the option here for them to give you cash or a store credit. I always opt for the store credit because I love their selection and I can always find something fashionable. My last trip here was last week and I was able to buy my daughter brand new outfits for the winter. Brand spankin' new with original tags at a super deal! This is the best children's consignment shop that I have come across. I frequent this location at least one to two times per month. Lisa is the owner and is super friendly and helpful. They seem to be very selective about what they take and I never feel like I am sorting through someone else's "trash to treasure garage sale leftovers". I have been shopping her for my kids for the last 3 years and plan to keep coming back. Prices are GREAT and we can usually find some great name brands (which it important to my daughter). This store is very well organized which is a total plus in a resale shop. There was a decent selection of reputable brands at reasonable prices. I purchased, amongst other things, a Mustard Pie set for $7 and a beautiful Janie and Jack dress for $12. Great prices on those brands. Also the inventory was clean and free of stains. The Summer stock was a bit low but that was my own fault for waiting too long to build my daughters Summer wardrobe. The owner was very personable and took time to explain the trade guidelines. Plus they didn't even select very many things to buy considering every single thing I brought in was in way better condition than a majority of the things in the store.
