Some of the best fish and chips Ive ever had! And they are absolutely dirt cheap too!!!! Its only $7.50 for flake and chips - and a decent serving of it!!!! Its an old school place, with no bells and whistles, but thats all you really need in a fish and chips shop! read more

My rule is not to eat fish when it has to travel more than two hours to the place where it will be cooked. We're very glad that we waived the rule to try Love Fish & Chips. Our fish was first class, grilled and fried. The fried Hoki was fresh and tasted beaut. The grilled Barra was also fresh and melted in the mouth. Chips were chips, not fries, and cooked to golden brown and crunchy on the side. The Greek salad was crisp though the Fetta was a bit soft. All in all very happy with the meal and will return next visit to Dubbo. read more

This restaurant moved from an easy lunchtime sushi distribution outlet to a full service restaurant…read morelast year. This was the first time I'd tried it since, and for dinner as well. They've figured out what sells at dinnertime, and we were impressed with both the freshness and presentation of the dishes ordered. you are NOT getting the country version of authentic cuisine here; you are in fact getting the BEST Japanese that is available in Australia. This was a Thursday night visit, and the venue wants to promote karaoke at least on weekends. Personally, I'd prefer to go on the non-karaoke nights.
