They sponsor and send kids to Royal Family Kids Camp with funds raised through the golf tournament each summer. I attended an event last night, a fundraising banquet to send high school ministries to Houston to assist a local church there with rebuilding homes of flood victims. So encouraging to see these young people and their hearts for others.

Been going here strong 7 months now. Its everything I have hoped for in a Church and it reminds me a lot of the church I attended back in my hometown. The pastor and other staff are so awesome, they make me laugh and he and everyone else who speaks is just so real there not just teaching they are not afraid to share their flaws and relate to us. I have loved every sermon and series so far. Never left disappointed. I love the worship team. The women's ministries are great. And they have tons of other small groups you can join. They even have a Sunday evening service for people who work weekends. And if you are sick and can't attend church for some reason you can watch it live online.

I had heard about Langar and was very interested in being able to attend. I was nervous because I…read moream not familiar with the Sikh or their religion. I invited friends to join me and am glad that I did. As you enter the worship hall, remove your shoes and place them in the designated areas. Cover your head with your own cover or a borrowed one. Upon entering the main area, there's a table to your immediate left. On this table you can obtain an information pamphlet which covers the proper sequence for attending Langar. It also provides a short history of the religion. The food was delicious, but more importantly, people were very friendly and welcoming. A gentleman came and introduced himself and also provided some information about Sikh traditions and Langar. Langar is held every Sunday from 11-2. This is a great opportunity to learn about a different culture and to meet new people. Volunteer opportunities are available if you'd like to be more involved.
