    Crispy Shrimp Tacos
    Jessica U.

Was in the area and was craving crispy rice and I came by this place and I'm glad I did. The ambiance was calm and relaxing. It's tucked in the corner of the shopping center and when I got there, there was plenty of parking. The server was friendly and on top of it. I tried the krispy rice and the crispy shrimp tacos and they were both good. I'd go again to try something new.

Another review - the sushi here is SO good and their green curry is amazing. Friendly wait staff.

Took a large family over and everyone loved all the food. Even though they are carnivores. They were scared - and happy. Impressed by the variety of different options. Eilat loved the shrimp tempura roll Tom Kah not spicy soup - delicious Thai chicken wings - fantastic. She loved the delicate and real chicken taste of the wings. Steve loved the chicken wings The beef with pineapple fried rice. Ella (10) was impressed by how good and real the fake chicken and beef tasted. Pad see ewe was great We all raved about the orange chicken, of course! My dad loved that we could bring in our wine. And of course, nothing would be as amazing without the service of the lovely Ryan! Thank you for accepting 10 people last minute. I got one request: To be able to make a reservation via open table, or something, so that I can see availability last minute while you're closed. I called 20 times at least starting at 8 am, couldn't leave a message or text or reserve in any way. It's happened once before, but the crowd wasn't willing to take the chance, so I lost the opportunity to take them. This time the crowd was willing to trust me that 95% it will be ok... and it was. Hope that makes sense. The ambiance was quiet and beautiful, as usual. I love being able to speak so highly about love and how everyone raves about everything, no matter who I take. Thank you for everything!

I really feel this place is so special. I had a chance to visit after many years of not making it there and to see how much they've grown in this community is amazing especially when vegan establishments are having a hard time. With that being said their menu was about 4 times larger than when I had visited as I think at that time it was a test menu. I'm glad to see some of my favorites made it through the years I really enjoyed the Love on Fire roll as I did last time. The dumpling soup was a good size for two with other dishes shared. I suggest if you like wings getting the Thai Chili wings they were excellent and get them spicy of course! We made it an hour before closing but were never rushed even thought we placed a very large order and the server even made sure we had not intentions to order more when the kitchen was ready to close. We did make it out before closing and never felt like we needed to rush and that's always special as anytime you extend past a locations hours you are on their personal time. I say that as a reminder to always be considerate as much as people may love what they do, service workers deserve their time to themselves and completing anything for closing. I will always try to find time for this spot when I'm in California. 10/10

Review 1 of 2025 I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but I love exploring and trying different delicious type of Vegan cuisines with my family. My family made the reservation to celebrate New Year's Eve for lunch. We ordered several appetizers and entrees. There are some not pictured. I ordered Pumpkin Curry with Mixed Green Salad, and a heart shaped Japanese Rice. My protein choice was Beefless with medium spice. The curry flavor is similar to Panang Curry. Customer Service was fantastic. Everything at this restaurant is above and beyond and was delicious and very flavorful. For the dessert, we all loved the Banana Spring Rolls. Ambiance is nice and clean. Parking is very small, and you may need to find a spot somewhere on the street near by.

I'm not even vegan, and LOVE is a staple for me. Everything I've tried from here is delicious, from the Love on Fire roll, to the pumpkin curry, to the wings. There are so many gluten free options, and they are clearly delineated on the menu, which makes life easy for me. I've taken friends & family here who have a range of dietary restrictions, and we can always find something delicious. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive as well. Even though HOPE has a very similar menu, LOVE is my favorite (not to pit two divas against each other lol).

Love Organic Food provided excellent service and a pleasant ambiance, but our experience fell short of our previous visit. The chicken burger was a disappointment, consisting of a fried chicken patty served on subpar buns with a lackluster spicy mayo. The burrito was unremarkable, and the sushi roll lacked freshness and flavor. However, the crispy rice appetizer was a highlight of the meal. It's possible that the restaurant could benefit from reviewing its menu and curating a selection of only the most delicious dishes.

I'm obsessed with this place and I'm a meat eater! I've recommended it to all of my plant based friends and they love it as well Love on Fire- I seriously dream about this roll. The mushrooms and sauce come together perfectly. This is what every plant based sushi should be! Super nacho- I enjoyed this. It comes cold, which is a bit of a trip but the flavors of this are great. Mac and cheese- Unforutnetly this was one of those things that I could tell was plant based. It was a darker color than typical mac and cheese and just didn't do it for me. I'll be back for that roll!

The food is delicious ! I ordered the green beans shrimp which was so good and it's a big portion . Next is the spicy eggplant with the beef lettuce, protein ! the ambience is peaceful!

Just had the Rainbow Salad It's one of the tastiest salads I've had Anywhere! Excellent Super friendly service too! I'm going to go back when I have more time to eat 3 courses. Extra.. Beautifully presented. Lots of protein from avocado, walnuts, pecans, garbanzo and soy beans. Super crisp and fresh leaves (and I'm v fussy about leaves I haven't personally cleaned/ chosen). Red onion and a very tasty dressing. I asked for more dressing. But when I dug in discovered it was perfectly dressed. (Which might be too much for some LA folks but passes European standard!)

My new GO-TO. I'm so happy I found this place as a vegan, gluten-free person who loves Thai food. I'd actually been on the hunt for a good Pad See Ew (it's my favorite) and found this place with a little research. We went in to get some good to-go and ended up ordering way more than expected cause there were SO many options on the menu! The vibe is actually really nice for a smaller place. I'd actually come here for a casual date night cause there was a nice ambiance about it. The staff was so friendly, accommodating and welcoming too. The food smelled so good in the car that I started eating it immediately and couldn't stop. Best Pad See Ew ever! There were so many add on options for protein but I got the friend tofu which was excellent. Also got the hot wings which I wish I could eat everyday and my boyfriend got the drunken noodle and Tom Kha soup which he loved. The menu was almost entirely gluten free as well so I look forward to going back and trying new things. All in all 10/10!

But honestly, the food outshines everything around it. Their Thai Fried Rice is unforgettable. I used to live nearby, and I'd rush over on my bike with so much excitement just to pick up my order. Now I live farther away, but I still don't even want to try other places, I'm happy to wait longer for delivery just to taste their magical rice again. The portions are generous; enough for me to eat twice, sometimes even three times (though it's so good I always want to finish it in one go). And the amount of vegetables is incredible: corn, mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, herbs, onion, tofu, egg... everything tastes perfectly balanced. I don't know what they do to this rice, but every time I take the first bite, my face melts into pure bliss. It finds its way straight to my stomach and to my heart as well;) Their soups and sides are also great, and they're always attentive to the order adjustment) This is the kind of food you keep craving and coming back for. I would give all 5 stars for the Thai Fried Rice alone. Highly, highly recommend!

The servers are polite and present. Did take orders of other tables that arrived later than us but we manage to place our orders eventually. Seems to have some repeating customers that came for takeout & their team looked somewhat busy with takeouts while managing dine in customers. The quality of the food is questionable - perhaps what we got just isn't good option on the menu or representative of them. Orders * Happy ribs- 1/5 - fried pork did not taste good.. I was expecting some more substance but felt like it was under seasoned and over fried. The rice became drier and more difficult to scoop for a good bite. Felt like it was old rice that was reheated then threw into a Thai looking basket. * Happy chicken- 2/5 - this had more flavor and seasoning than the pork, it was fried a bit too much in certain places so overall taste wise, it didn't make the experience any better. Rice also wasn't that great, dry & got hard. * Thai tea - 3/5- this is on the much sweeter side so if it isn't up your alley I wouldn't go for it. If you are lactose intolerant, I recommend you take a tablet before you drink this. * Ice coffee - 3/5 - something was off about the one that was made, just didn't taste good. Seating? Can accommodate large groups & small groups. Seems great for small family, and the casual get together and meet ups. Restroom? Yes; it's clean and cozy size so if you do have a wheelchair I would advise to get some assistance. Parking? Difficult; we went to a nearby parking garage and walked over.

This place is by far my favorite Thai restaurant and that's why it's so disheartening to write this…read morereview. I have written at least 2 glowing reviews of the restaurant in the past and wish this could be one of them, but it's not. Over the last 4-5 days I have tried no less than 2 dozen times to call the restaurant during proper business hours to order food for pick-up as I often do. The phone rang and rang to no avail. I live too far from the restaurant to just pop up and place an order so I rely on calling ahead. I have been a customer of this restaurant for at least the last 9 years and have almost never had the aforementioned experience. Though I do recall not being able to get a call through several times on one or two occasions in the relatively distant past. Today I was finally able to get a call through and began placing my order which includes shrimp. I ALWAYS request the tail (with shells) to be removed from the shrimp as I find it quite difficult to enjoy my meal if I'm constantly having to pick off shells with my hands. It's unsanitary and messy. Removing the tails from 15-20 shrimp prior to adding to an entree or soup should take no more than 60 seconds and that's if one is moving at a glacial pace. However, today I was told that the kitchen was too busy to honor my request. I assured the lady taking my order than I was a loyal customer and make this request will every order I place and it is always honored. She repeated her claim that the kitchen was too busy and refused to do it. I cancelled my order and ended the call. Now I usually order food from the restaurant 4-5 times a month and usually spend about $65 each time not including tip. That is approximately $325 per month of my hard earned money that I give to this restaurant in exchange for great food and service. I am appalled and quite upset that having been a loyal customer for almost a decade and spending as much money there as I do per month that they could at least honor my patronage by simply taking an additional 60 seconds in the kitchen to make my meal more enjoyable. Her refusal to do such a minuscule task has deeply soured my experience with Hoy-Ka not to mention the fact that I could not reach the restaurant for almost a week by phone for no apparent reason. I will not be going back to this restaurant until they rectify this situation.

Something that would make me feel like it was homemade with love and care. I saw this place before but never stopped in because I was headed to the Grove which the farmers market is one of my favorite places to eat at in the area. However, this restaurant is now in my top Thai restaurants on the west side. Siri who I believe is one of the owners/ managers recommended two dishes for me, first she recommended I start with the Firry Crispy Shrimp which had a unique fried approach to it that was reminiscent of soul food however the sauce was a perfect balance to it . The second dish was the Hor Mhok. This dish was truly amazing. I left nothing, literally, I recommend adding the mint that is placed on the side of the plate and flower into the dish. I will definitely be back again for this dish. It was light but filling and not too much on the pallet but very flavorful. She recommend the mild approach but I will be back to have it spicy. Now let's talk about the customer service, Siri and Billy were serviced me and made me feel as if I was at a five star restaurant. My water was never empty. Plates were removed timely for the next dish to take center stage. I mean it was impeccable. Mind you the place was packed. Additionally, after my dish I was not rushed to leave. She allowed me to sit and handle a few things on my phone and never once made me feel like I was over staying my welcome. The cleanness of the restaurant was excellent, however the bathroom had some work, this maybe to influx of customers and this was a few nights before Christmas. Overall, I recommend if you can find parking, stop by and enjoy these dishes or the green curry which is Siri's favorite. I respect this establishment because I even have her a budget of what I wanted to spend and she recommended dishes that would impress me, fill me up and did not go over the budget I wanted to spend. The cherry on top is I wasn't looking for anything to drink and on my way out Billy provided me their signature lemonade black tea. I highly recommend this tea. Very traditional accents with a unique but sweet flavor profile. A must try for the experience. I wasn't even intending on writing a review but I was so pleased I had to. Even the customers were friendly! I came one and people spoke to me freely and started cross table conversations. Which can be unpleasant when you're trying to enjoy food but this was just the right amount of chatter.

And the bites with the white sauce were bomb. Maybe having the sauce on the side for dipping would be preferable. I added the pad woon sen and that ended up being my favorite dish! Sooooo good! The service was really good, and the restaurant was dimly lit and a nice vibe. Overall, I definitely would get the pad woon sen again and I want to try different items on their menu.

And when I say crispy, the outer shell is the crispiest of all time with a unique batter on it. Love it so much! My friend and I were intrigued by their Ko lae and enjoyed it when we ordered it. Curry-like chicken from Southern Thailand, heavily influenced by Malay-Muslim cuisine with great flavor. The Pad Thai does it's pad thai thing tasting of all the sweet, sour, savory, umami you could ask for. This classic dish is done well here. This has become my go to take out Thai spot - love Noree Thai!

My last visit was 4 years ago, the food is still great!…read more FOOD & DRINKS-- - crab & cream cheese app (basically crab wonton): underwhelming but I had a craving - drunken noodle WITH DUCK! Wow, this dish had amazing flavor. Lots of veggies but it's a noodle forward dish still. I would have liked more duck meat but the flavor is just so good I'd order it again. - green curry with tofu: The flavor on this curry was perfect. I got this with fried tofu. It comes with a hefty serving of rice. Medium spice was perfect for me. - pink milk: I inquired about this and got to try a sample. It's good. It reminded me of strawberry milk from childhood. - Thai iced tea: solid, not too seeet SERVICE-- Fairly attentive. Hospitable. Accommodating. I inquired about the pink milk and the server was really kind and made me a fresh batch to taste it. AMBIANCE-- I liked this place before because it felt cozy. Now it's super well lit with bright white lights so the vibe is different. The space is still the same size but the cozy perfect-for-date-night vibe is gone. Not a big deal but just noticeable as it was one of the things I liked about it before.
