It arrived about 1 3/4 hours into the meal. In the meantime I used what should have been water glass to offer my dog some water. Disastrous service B: It took 30 minutes after being seated to order. Every single walk-up to go order was prioritized over us. To be clear, there were 6 tables seated totaling about 16 customers in the whole place. There are so many gluten free options, and they are clearly delineated on the menu, which makes life easy for me. I ordered Pumpkin Curry with Mixed Green Salad, and a heart shaped Japanese Rice. My protein choice was Beefless with medium spice. The curry flavor is similar to Panang Curry. Customer Service was fantastic. Everything at this restaurant is above and beyond and was delicious and very flavorful. For the dessert, we all loved the Banana Spring Rolls. I really feel this place is so special. I had a chance to visit after many years of not making it there and to see how much they've grown in this community is amazing especially when vegan establishments are having a hard time. With that being said their menu was about 4 times larger than when I had visited as I think at that time it was a test menu. I'm glad to see some of my favorites made it through the years I really enjoyed the Love on Fire roll as I did last time. The dumpling soup was a good size for two with other dishes shared. I suggest if you like wings getting the Thai Chili wings they were excellent and get them spicy of course! We made it an hour before closing but were never rushed even thought we placed a very large order and the server even made sure we had not intentions to order more when the kitchen was ready to close. We did make it out before closing and never felt like we needed to rush and that's always special as anytime you extend past a locations hours you are on their personal time. I say that as a reminder to always be considerate as much as people may love what they do, service workers deserve their time to themselves and completing anything for closing. I will always try to find time for this spot when I'm in California. 10/10 read more

I'd actually come here for a casual date night cause there was a nice ambiance about it. The staff was so friendly, accommodating and welcoming too. The food smelled so good in the car that I started eating it immediately and couldn't stop. Best Pad See Ew ever! When we got there there were only 2 other tables but it was like a flood gate opened after we arrived so with just one server it made for quite a wait on service. But that being said the food was pretty good. I ordered the yellow curry as my entree...it was tasty but the potatoes were undercooked and crunchy. The food itself was actually really good, and I appreciated that they offer solid vegan options-it's not always easy to find places that do that well. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our server came across as dismissive and unwilling to accommodate a simple request. They were out of the coconut ice cream that normally comes with the dessert, and when we asked if we could substitute it with the pecan ice cream (which they did have), we were told it would be an upcharge. What didn't sit right with me wasn't even the charge --it was the lack of flexibility and the way it was communicated. As a khao soi afficionado, I had to try this dish. The curry is creamy and warming but not overwhelming with spices. It is a great dish to comfort you on a cold day. The one thing that I was not a huge fan of was the fake chicken so I would ask for tofu or tempeh next time. - crispy jalapeño roll (6/10): sushi rolled filled tempura jalapeño, spicy tofu, avocado, and marinated shiitake mushrooms and topped with spicy mayo and scallions. This was one of the more popular rolls so we wanted to try it. There is a lot of fresh jalapeño flavor which can become overpowering especially if this is the only dish you get. If you are getting this, I would pair it with a few other sushi rolls that have more fresh and les spicy flavors. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! We ordered the green papaya salad, which came with lots of veggies, some rice noodles with veggie-shrimp (not an oxymoron, BTW, actually pretty tasty), and sushi rolls made with mushrooms. I came to this amazing place looking for tea and was amazed by what I found. We had an Egyptian chamomile tea, a Thai iced Tea, and an Arnold Palmer. The service was incredibly friendly and the ambiance is super chill. For food, we had dessert only this time in the form of banana spring rolls.
