Clean showers and restrooms, the employees are very friendly and helpful, the parking for trucks is pretty large but it still fills up fast late in the evening hours just like your typical loves truck stop. read more

Spacious Love's location with plenty of parking. I like how this has an Arby's attached, providing another hot option if you don't want to get the standard hot options here. Gas fill up as quick and easy, with plenty of spacing. I was also quite happy with the coffee options here, as in they had the nicer fresh bean grinding machines, chilled creamer, cappuccino, and more -- with all these usual tea, slushie, and other drink options! For someone who likes variety, and looks forward to trying something new when I stop at a Love's, I appreciate having so many different choices. read more

On our way to Chicago my husband and I stopped at Love's to get gas and use the washroom. We were able to get in, fill up on gas and get back on the road without any problems. I've been driving for over 10 years and CAMERON customer service was the best I've ever seen and employee a truck stop have ever ! Like super positive energy , greeting customers as soon as they come and and leave but, like clock work ' he doesn't miss ! Even when he's helping someone at the cash register . I've been in and out the truck stop for about an hour or two while my truck is in the shop and He's truly an asset to loves team . Need more people like him in every truck stop . Terrible! The pump did not shut off and gas was all over the driveway. Management refused to do anything about it. I refused to leave until they cleaned up the mess so I could even get in my car. The "who ever she was Angeline" was rude, hateful and said there is nothing we can do about this. Apparently she is a day manager but she never addressed who she was. She told me I had to stay with my car. I was in my car with the door open so I could see and hear the pump. She didn't care. I called twice to speak to Matt Jackman who I understand is the store manager and never got a call back. Interesting part is while I was waiting for them to clean up the mess another customer came in and said the same thing had happened to him. Additionally the cashier I initially reported the problem to said it had been going on all day. Obviously, management could care less about the inconvenience for customers plus I paid for at least two or three gallons of gas I left on their driveway. I'll never go back! read more

Love's Travel Stop - love's rv hookup - Gas Stations Near Me - Cameron, Missouri

So, I am at the Love's at Cameron Mo. They have 6 sites. Have stayed here several times and the price was always $53 minus my Military discount. They round it up to 48. This time I tried to book a site, and they were all full, so I kept checking and the next day someone cancelled, and I booked but to my surprise I find out that since it was the last site they up charged me to $60. With military discount now $54. Everyone else pays $53 except for the guy who booked before me they probably charged $55. So, I thought maybe they charge more on Tuesday, so I tried booking the next Tuesday and it was $53. I also investigated and noticed that when there are only two sites left the fifth one is charged $55. They are also no longer give you free showers. Now it is $18 a head for a shower. I was there with my wife and daughter so 54 + 56 = $110 for the night. I called corporate and talked to someone who comped me 3 free showers. Good for tonight only but in the future, $18 a head. Lucky for me when I and my wife went for our showers she said, we'll shower together and save Love's money. Anyway, let's start something here. The corporate number for customer service for Love's is (800-655-6837). Always be polite please but let them know that camping anywhere should include a shower and you would like their policy to change. If they receive tens of thousands of calls, they may just do that. Just 40 miles north of here EXIT 92 in Bethany, Mo. there are two nice campgrounds, Quail Ridge, full hookup but no showers for $30 a night, first come first served no reservations and Sunny sites campground, (under construction). Full hookup concrete pads, shower building under construction. $25 a night for now but I am sure that when completed it will be more, but I am sure worth it. I would have picked one of them, but my wife wanted a shower and our shower in our rig is not assessable tonight. Had i known Love's new policy on showers I would have gone to one or the other. In the future I will. On the other hand, Love's is clean and easily assessable, and the showers are absolutely spotless. As RVers we probably have a lot of pull and let's use it. read more

on a return trip to an Arizona destination I developed tire trouble and stopped into Love"s in Cameron, spoke with the most helpful person on the phone I've ever talked to ... she discovered and directed me to the service area and the personnel who were pronto on the spot and so helpful. They fixed the problem and I'm back on the road. Thank you so much ... y"all saved my trip!!! read more

On my way back to Kansas City from Lake Viking on a Saturday recently, my Lexus developed a loud grinding under hood. I pulled in to Love's road stop, called my dealer back home and they located Love's 24-hour truck repair right there. I called them, explained my problem. They told me they couldn't look at it or repair a car--their tools only work on trucks. I called my hosts at Lake Viking and a family member who owns foreign car repair out of state came for me. He test drove the car, but unable to diagnose the randomly occurring noise, possibly brakes. If he could put it up on the rack he could quickly determine problem. He also said truck tools work on autos. Too bad Love's 24-hour repair wouldn't help a woman stranded at the truck stop. I'm a former homeowner at Lake Viking, know many residents there and many folks in KC. It turned out to be a broken clip on fender liner rubbing on tire. I started back to KC just as it was getting dark and starting to rain. Way to go, Love's. Highly recommend goodwill in business, which you are short on. read more

My driver showed up at 3:30 pm with a blown tire. Their shop was totally unskilled. They had 2 trucks ahead of our truck. One with a leaking wheel seal, the other with a blown tire, air bag, and mudflap. After waiting until 10 pm, being told we were next, they tell us the shop closes at 11 pm but someone would be coming in that could handle tires. At 1:30 AM they finished us. Totally unacceptable. Next time we will call a reputable service technician. read more

2 pumps weren't working and had no signs. Security seals are broken on many of the pumps which means there could be card skimmers.
