Easy on and off the interstate, turning into the station from road is a different story because the temporary trailer used for remodeling blocks the right side of the parking and access around the gas station. NOTE, I believe this is temporary as I have stopped here multiple times and it got eventually used less and less because of construction. --Ambience-- My last visit the dog park was open and the new renovated building looks immaculate on the inside and has the new self-serving registers. --Service/Staff-- I didn't interact with the staff because of the self-serving registers but prior visits the indoor facilities were closed. --Products/Service-- Great place to fill up and get you on your way. With all Love's you cannot beat the price and location --Capacity-- Outdoor pumps can be limited, this is one of the smaller Love's and probably can hold only 10 vehicles. Reminder that the temporary trailer makes navigating in and out of the station a bit difficult --Overall-- Great place to fill up and be on your way. This love's travel stop is very nice and convenient, clean restrooms and showers are available. The staff here is very nice and helpful plus it's plenty of truck space at this location. Fuel isles can get real busy during peak hours but overall a good truck stop. read more

While driving on 65, it was time for a fuel and snack stop. Plenty of gas pumps and parking. Lots of energy drink choices, not only by brand, but by flavor. Lots of sales on them too. Clean bathrooms and store. Easy in and out. read more

Worst Loves ever. Four pumps not working and the one we were at wouldn't skip past phone number which we don't have with them since there are no Loves where we live. It was packed and only one lady ( I felt bad for her) at checkout so I could tell her to reset the pump. read more

Super insanely cheap gas when you're road trippin' it. $2.30 last night to be exact. Madness! The shop has everything you could possibly need from snacks to drinks while on the road plus a bunch of random stuff, as well, like belts & bandanas. Best thing about this Love's - It has an Arby's! And the people working were actually all quite friendly and quick in getting orders out. They had some new beastly Chicken Parm sandwich which was incredibly messy for car eating but very tasty. The only bad thing which was realllllllllllllllly bad were the bathrooms. I walked into a stall and doo-doo was all over the toilet. Then I looked down and it had also been trailed all over the floor. I nearly threw up. Rest stop bathrooms are usually not the cleanest but this was horrific. Came to this place over the weekend to get some gas. Overall it's your normal travel stop. Friendly service, clean restrooms, prices are more on the high side more than anything but everything is well stocked, clean, organized. Definitely a good place to check out if you're running low on gas. read more

When I have a choice of multiple truck stops and there's a Love's that's the place I go. There is a TA truck stop across the street but the employees make that an undesirable stop. The product selection here from truck reflectors and power converters to some really good coffee and an entire refrigerator of energy and protein drinks. I'm also a big fan of the entire aisle of various meat jerky products and fresh fruit. Gas and diesel prices are usually from $.05 to $.10 cents less expensive than Merrillville or Illinois. And clearly the friendliest stop from Joliet to Indianapolis. read more

I love Love's. I also never realized until this weekend that I have a preference for certain gas station stops on road trips. Love's is my preference. This location is clean, friendly, well-stocked, and has plenty of pumps. Of course, the usual, strange objects that Love's tends to stock are also available. Those always amuse me. There's also an Arby's attached if you desire cheap roast beef sandwiches. Yes, there's a shiny TA truck stop across the street, but Love's never fails. read more

Loves got rich declaring they were small business and were here to support all small business YEARS AGO.. now they are so out of control with the greed factor, high prices no decent food.. Would he or his daughter that started this company want to eat garbage fast food 24/7.. NOBODY DOES.. but to add insult to injury DO NOT EXPECT if you put your equipment into one of their tire bays that they WOULD EVER STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRENTY,, They hire almost anyone who can flip a tire and charge a certified mechanic rate ,as they pay that guy not much more then minimum wage... I had work done in Oklahoma City a wheel seal and the worker put the seal in uneven and it leaked gear lube on to my breaks, I called the shop girl made her aware of the situation, faxed her a copy of the previous work order and wheel seal part # explained I would be in Monday morning after I was unloaded.. she said no problem So I drove 50 mile out of route because that was nearest loves.. just to find out they have a list of excuses to not even pull it in the shop and look at it unless I would acknowledge I was paying the bill out of pocket and even at that it would be HOURS before they would get me in even though I called and scheduled that I was coming in..I had already waited for hours the first time on OK City to have it repaired last month.. Do they not understand we do not make money if we are not rolling... A year ago I took my truck to a loves tire shop for the same thing and the boys they had working on it ACTUALLY had to get out a manual and sit with it by my trailer to get through the job.. That blew my mind as I am being charged by the hour.. and when they were done they impacted on my lovely aluminum rim with out using the protection ring that was hanging on the wall in the shop.. That costed them a brand new rim.. I urge you to stop paying for high priced fuel just so that you can get a point on your reward card.. if you do not understand they have that game riggedso that you give them thousands of dollars a year and they give you a free hot dog.. you must not be strong at math.. read more

Very very unclean mens bathroom. Half of the urinals are out of order. No toilet paper in 2/4 stalls. Toilet paper on the floors. All of the toilet seats have writing on them. Don't stop here if you just have to use the bathroom. read more

I absolutely love this store! I go here pretty much on a daily basis and all of the staff are amazing people. Yes they have their days when they are busy and things can get hectic, but that's any business. The roller grill food is good, the coffee is amazing, and the prices here are usually fair. Gas is usually the cheapest around. Only place I will get my fuel and anything else I need. I highly recommend. I have never encountered such a lazy staff in my entire life I own a local business that uses propane. For the last several weeks I have had the misfortune of purchasing my propane at this location, I've yet to go there one time without having to listen to staff complain about having to do their jobs.
