Self-serve register wasn't working, and I learned that discounts don't show up till you're finished ringing up. That's true at some chains, not at others. Wish there was a standard. Clean bathrooms. Showers available. A couple of restaurants in the building. Easy access and plenty of parking. My bestie is a truck driver. When he offered to forgo getting a hotel for our double night sleepover expedition, I hesitated. And you know what? I was wrong. It's the middle of a seasonably accurate february and yet I haven't really noticed. We parked out glorified apartment on wheels with the rest of the truckers all tucked neatly in a row. Despite the weather, the ground was relatively safe and clear for me to not worry as I hoisted myself in. The whole lot looked well maintained, even the other side for average size travelers, where we parked our rental car. In the morning, I had gone inside carrying an already pasted toothbrush and everyone smiled and said hello as if this is normal. Because evidently it is, with multiple showers and laundry to boot. It's like a mini trucker haven of a hotel. Having experienced a Greyhound delay with run down toilets, I wasn't sure what to expect. Not that it set the standard high, but they superceded it with immaculate cleanliness. Filled loo roll dispensers, automatic sinks, my choice of soap or hand wash (with extra gunk removing qualities). It's one of the more pleasant public restrooms that I've ever encountered, and as a tiny bladdered lady, that's saying a lot. I had to wait for my bestie, so I nosed around to find this place has everything. Well, as long as you are willing to pay. The selection is more expensive than any convenience store I've ever seen, albeit costing what one can demand when your choice of stores is limited. I could have even chosen from two restaurants, but after circling around a few curious laps, I went to the fresh case for boiled eggs. They tasted fresh. None of this sitting around for ages nonsense, it looks like they dedicate themselves to treating voyagers like they want them to enjoy themselves. And take care of themselves, with nutrition factoids posted. The cashier was very nice as well, bagging up our loot (he got burritos from the hot selection) and had us use his Loves card to knock down the price. I can see why this place is called Love's. This location of Love's travel stop is right outside the city of Columbus and it's really difficult to find truck parking sometimes even during the day hours because it's a lot of where houses in the area, but this truck stop is clean especially the restrooms and showers, I was actually surprised to see a laundry room at this location, they have a Hardee's, Chester chicken and Godfather's pizza restaurant inside. read more

Pulled in to park long enough to shower. Semi load packed full of bobtails. I'm bobtailing so I pull in RV spot get my shower bag and go inside. I talked to manager on duty explaining that I was only getting a shower and where I parked and why. He said it was ok due to I wasn't staying and would be there for a short time. The diesel cashier he over heard and started threatening to call a tow truck after I already asked the manager that said it was ok. The cashier said the auto lot isn't designed for that king of weight. I clearly expressed that it would not be a good idea for him to tow or touch my truck, and that I was there for a shower and I would be leaving. While I was there all of 20 minutes a RV pulled in beside me. I searched the make and model of the Jayco motor home and found that that RV towing out weighs my bobtail but 3,000 pounds empty, and it was towing a car. read more

Stay away!!! Rude people, tire manager uses F word to talk to you and shouts and screams. Rude people have no idea what customer service is about. Was told they fix RVs, BOOKED it in for a serpentine belt replacement as we broke down on highway, spent $5500 USD on a tow (yes you read right), and when we got there the tire shop manager said they don't fix RVs and that the would touch it.. Even though THEIR EMPLOYEE told me they did and had me booked in. So I asked him if they were going to help since this is partly their fault and he said no Fn way... So I asked "are you going to leave me in a lurch" and he said "yep, fix it outside yourself".... THANKS FOR NOTHING YOU BUNCH OF UNCARING AND UNHELFPUL PEOPLE. THIS PLACE IS RUDE AND INCOMPETENT.
