Loves is a great place for roadside stopping! This is our first time here, it's a larger Loves than we expected. Getting into this station is a big challenge. After getting off the freeway a sign will guide you down the road and around the corner. The inside of the store was a little bit less than what we would expect from a Loves. The individuals at the front counter were persuaded to waves and give thanks as you walked in. When we checked out they were full of energy. Love that ! The Loves itself has a Subway and Godfather pizza if your hungry. They have roller item food too. The aisles and cold drinks needed attention. The store was not stocked, nor clean. But the employees were happy. We came looking for the fresher items like fresh fruit but maybe next time. All in all we would return and recommend. This Love's was a little dirtier than I'm used to. Unfortunately, a charter bus had just arrived, and a large group of people all headed to the restrooms at the same time I did. Since there were only four stalls, the wait was much longer than I expected, which was frustrating. The service was friendly, though. I wanted a hot dog and asked if they were all beef. The employee confirmed that they were and even updated the sign to make that clear, which I appreciated. The biggest disappointment was the food. The hot dog itself was okay, but the bun was stale, old, and honestly disgusting. It completely took away from the flavor of the hot dog. I still ate it because I was hungry, but I was highly disappointed with the quality. read more

I had to take a big ah shit after eating some Mexican food here is how it went. Had some guy brushing his teeth right outside my stall while my Spotify was playing. I swear them toilet paper so thin that I thought it was going to break when wiping + that paper was small af When I finished I didn't know they automatically flush for me so I crapped my pants. We are road tripping across the USA ( Vermont-Washington state) and have found that we LOVE loves!!! This was a great place to stop with our dog- they have a huge green area to walk around and trash cans everywhere. It's pretty clean and the staff is super friendly. We had an issue with some other travelers here but the place itself was great! It wasn't as impressive as our first Loves stop, which is why I gave it 4 stars- but as far as places to stop go I would definitely recommend loves! read more

*** MANAGEMENT PLEASE READ *** My car broke down (shifter cable broke) mid way between the front parking area and the gas pumps. I had no cell service. After trying a few things, I gave up and went inside in search of help/a phone to call AAA. The first woman I spoke to treated me very poorly. She did phone a guy to "push [me] out of the way" but refused to let me use the phone. While I was outside waiting, a different attendant (I forgot to get her name. Young, blond hair) whose shift had just ended approached me to see if I was okay. I apologized for being there and explained that I had broken down. She offered to look at my car for me. While she was inspecting it, the mechanic (who was also super friendly and awesome) arrived and looked it over. They were not able to help with my shifter cable, but the off duty attendant walked me inside, gave me a phone to call AAA, and stayed with me until I had a plan in place despite the fact that she was supposed to be off work and relaxing at home. Without her, I would have had a complete mental break down because I was alone and it was past midnight and I had no service and I'm not from here and I don't know anyone. She made me feel safe, like everything was going to be okay. She really saved me. I don't know how I would have been okay without her. Later on, when I was in the tow truck on the way to the mechanic shop, I mentioned all that the Love's attendant had done for me and he knew exactly who I was referring to. He's in the area a lot, and told me she's always been extremely kind to him as well. Anyway. She needs a raise. read more

This is a good gas station/truckstop that is located right off of the expressway in Sheperdsville. I frequent this place rather often when I'm in the area and they have nice pumps and a great atmosphere on the inside it's definitely worth checking out read more

Work in the area, stopped for gas. As usual, the printer at the pump doesn't work - 7-8/10 times is normal. Went inside to get my receipt and had to wait 3-4 minutes for someone to come to the registers. While the attendant (she) was printing my receipt I mentioned "I know this hasn't to do with you but please tell management that 7-8/10 the printers don't work at the pumps". She looked at me with disgust and said "Have a nice day". Glad the new CircleK is about to open across the street. read more

The shower I was given had a large ball of hair on the floor. I had to wait for a shower but didn't mind knowing that this is normal, However the shower staff continually banged on my door every 5 minutes and because I got angry and told them to piss off the TWAUT waffles actually called the police. What a bunch of losers. I guess they felt like they needed to exult their authority as if lol. While I made $159,000. so far this year the little minimum wagers at this establishment think they have the right to treat their customers this way with no Repercussions. Worst Loves I've been too. This is a crap hole. I reserved a shower through the app and after 40 minutes of waiting my shower was cancelled. I went inside to inquire about it and the very rude staff said they cancelled all showers because they were unable to clean them for the rest of the evening. They have a subway and a chester's. Not a wide selection of drinks in the fridges though. Gas prices are average, overall it was decent.

We were travelling home and stopped in the Love's in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Store # 238. If I could give no stars, I would! My cashier, Ginny, was a complete b**ch! She was very curt when speaking to me, throwing my purchases in a bag, acted very put out when I asked her for my receipt. Just all around a BAD experience. read more

I love Love's! :) This location is right next to where I work and I come in here all the time. It's very large, so it's nearly impossible for all of the pumps to be full. The inside also has a Chester's chicken and Subway, making it a great place to stop on my lunch breaks. The staff are usually very friendly every time I go in! The only con I have is that there have been a couple times when a certain pump would not take my debit/credit cards, and I would have to walk inside have have them process my card. Worst Love's I've been to by far. Bathrooms are filthy floors are dirty there's no toilet liners, it stinks something awful, that's not including the showers. Service is ok i guess. They don't greet you like the other Love's when you walk in. It doesn't look like the whole entire place has been mopped or swept all day. Friendly staff everywhere you go. Mostly clean restrooms (several toilets were disgusting) but was still able to do my business. They have a roomy dining area where you can choose from Chester's Chicken (Bone in chicken,strips,boneless) wedges, Cole slaw, fried corn on the cob, mashed potatoes & gravy, and a chicken sandwich. The chicken is fried fresh on sigr, the other items however, I'm unsure if. I ordered a 6 strip combo w/ drink & apple pie, came to a little over $13. Wasn't told until after the fact there would be a wait on Mac n cheese. Then they clarified and said "Oh they just put it in frozen, it's gonna be about an hour. So I substituted Cole slaw, which is just cabbage sitting in a sea of sauce with a few slivers of carrot. Tenders were hit or miss, some dry. Wedges were a little soggy on the outside and a little hard inside. Apple pie was the best part. Staff was friendly just kinda wished they would have been super up front about things. Loves has quickly jumped to the top of my list for travel stops largely because of their dog parks. Unfortunately this dog park was horribly maintained and I had to spend a good deal of time removing dog poop from my shoes. I will always appreciate Loves for incorporating dog parks but the Maintanance is of them if a huge concern. read more

Came here today to fuel up and go but sadly it didn't turn out that way. I went to two pumps and it displayed a dispenser closed message so I move to another pump same message so I go inside the building to "start" pump the fuel desk cashier walked away I stood in there to get her to tell me oh there's a problem with all the pumps that I can wait and walked away yet again. I arrived at this store location Loves 238 on 6/19/2022 around 815p. I went into the store to get food from Chester's but first I stopped to refill my cup at the beverage station. As i'm cleaning my cup at the station there was a female employee cleaning near that area. I asked her how do I use the shot machine because I tried get a shot of lime that would not dispense. The employee stormed off and yelled " I don't know". At that point I was confused and thought to myself, she's rude or maybe she's not talking to me. I ignored her and proceed to Chester's to get my food. The male employee there was very nice btw. I ordered my food and was told it was a 5 min wait. I was ok with that. I decided to go back into the store to get me a bottled alkaline water and went to check out. Just so happen it was the same rude lady that was checking me out. I did not say one word to her was just going to buy my water and leave but at that point she decided to ask me if I had a problem. I asked her why would she think I had a problem she said it seemed like I did. I replied saying no but I feel you are the one with the issue. I asked a valid question and if you could not help me the proper thing to do would have been to find someone who could help me. I then walked away and told her to have a great day. It was a coincidence that the young man that checked me out at Chester's was also behind me in the checkout line. After he checked out he asked me if I was ok and if I wanted to put in a complaint. I said no, but he took it upon himself to tell his manager who was nice as well. She came out to talk to me and told me she would go get the manager of the rude employee, she did and he was supposed to come out to talk to me but he never did. And he said he was never told to come talk to me. Let me close this out by saying i left my phone in the car and thank God i did because i definitely would have called my husband who was outside in his truck resting. But I guess i was taking to long in the store so my husband came in looking for me. I then told him what happened and he pointed at the lady asking me if that was her.. the rude lady called the police on us. Stating she was scared and we were harrasing her. Her Manager finally comes out and said he already spoke to her but he could not stop her from calling the police on us. I Can keep going but i will stop here and say my husband spends thousands at loves truck stop and i have never in my life dealt with a real "Karen" this obviously ok with this establishment because at least 3 employees there said they have gotten numerous complaints about this same lady. I regret i didnt get this lady name but i will not let up until i do because i have never felt so disrespected in my life. I know she was trying to push me so she can seem like the victim.
