Very impromptu visit for a potty break and a snack break on the way to Alabama from Texas. I needed to take in my special needs son. The bathrooms are super clean and well stocked. Each stall has complete privacy (no cracks in the doors) They also have showers for the truckers! (Heard a shower was ready, etc over the loud speaker). And they have an Arby's and a ton of random needs and foods! Definitely will be back on my next trip! read more

Loves is as the name says, a Travel Stop, truck stop, with fuel, food, drinks (including freshly ground and brewed coffee), and restrooms. This one is on the south side of Interstate 20. I must have arrived after a morning rush before the cleaning crew hit the bathrooms, because they needed some attention. The employees were friendly and efficient at the counter. Bathrooms were not very clean. The fountain drink machine leaked. Customer service was meh.

3:00 AM for gas and I found this to be the worst Love's I've ever been to. The gas pump area was in serious need of attention. Every single trash bin was overfull and there was trash on the floor. As well, the receipt printer at my pump did not work. Inside, an improvement in that all the shelves were stocked and the bathroom was reasonably clean but still needing attention to bring it to the Love's standard. The hot dog rollers were almost entirely out of stock. I spent about an hour in the parking area catching a snooze. The gas pump area did not improve while I was asleep. This Love's is really in the middle of nowhere and if I remember correctly -- it's after a long gap of no gas stations. I do a lot of driving travel from Dallas to Atlanta and I really needed a bathroom break/pit stop. Most Love's locations are generally nice and this place was no different. I was able to have a quick bathroom break and get in and out. The folks I encountered (which was super short) were generally friendly and it was a nice little place to use the restroom and stretch! read more

This placed sucked on 1/24/2025. I use Loves whenever I travel. It was middle of the day with temperatures in the high 30's. I finished fueling and went in to use the men's room. It was barricaded off with sign's saying Port-A-Potties near the dog park. I can handle using a port-a-john, but no toilet paper, no paper towels and they had open-air foot pump basins set up with no protection from the breeze with temperatures in the mid-30's. This sucks. You can't tell me there isn't an employee restroom in that place, where they could have set it up with a key system. They take your hundred bucks for gas and treat you like this..THAT'S JUST WRONG!!! read more

I was very surprised at this whole truck stop. The parking lot is clean and free of potholes, Well lit, and the prices are comparable are comparable to surrounding competitor competitors. The one thing that was amazing for me was the bathrooms were clean, smelled fresh, and well stopped. They also had a place for my dog to go and use the bathroom which is which is a super plus 4 me because my dog means so much to me. My baby was so pleased with the facilities. :) the customer service was great as well. I would recommend! read more

I don't recommend this establishment to anyone unless you are seriously in need of gas or drink... I went into this place and was confronted by a rude woman who worked there. I was in one aisle trying to decide on what drink I wanted when she rudely said 'excuse me' and expected me to get out of her way... I was then in a different aisle trying to decide on what snacks I wanted to purchase when the same scenario took place again... I walked away saying out loud 'are you kidding me... You did this a second time?' Needless to say I walked out without purchasing anything... Only good thing was they had a dog park but 20 dogs around it! The employees could care less here. I got in line and was the only person. Worker walked from behind counter after seeing me and said she can get you over there- meaning truckers resister. Went over there waited several minutes behind truckers and then went back to the other register where there were now three people in front of me and new worker. Crappy customer service and attitude. As heavily visited as this truck stop is and the Men's restroom was completely shut down. The 2 port a potties they had had not been cleaned in a very long time. If they can't do better they need to shut down until repairs are made. read more

This loves travel stop is one of the smaller ones. It is however, easy to ingress and egress. The pumps and exterior facilities are a little bit older but adequately maintained as maybe you can see by some of the photos. There's a casino on the right side of the retail area and a Hardee's on the left. read more

Variety of coffees, but speculative on their cleanliness. Very few coffee cups. Morris, a team member, was very nice and immediately found some large cups for me. The person or persons, that needed to be on time had not shown up. Leaving the store short handed. Restrooms kept up, not smelly. Trash overflowing, but attendant came in to change out & clean. No hot water. Some toilet fixtures not too stable. Trash cans behind trucks in overgrown area. Worried about that, when you consider the chance of being accosted by snakes & alligators. Parking lot relatively clean, as were the fuel islands. They have mechanics on duty. read more

Other than the fact that people left their cars parked in front of the pump for literally 20 minutes (just taking up spaces where someone else could get gas), it seemed like a good rest stop with decent selection. Fun fact, there are alligator warning signs at the edge of the property by the sewer run off. read more

Heading down to Polk for some training had us stopping anywhere that would have us! This gas station was somewhat clean. Maybe the outside of the gas station could've been more illuminated. Absolutely disgusting! There were flies around the soda machine and there was no ice either. The men's bathroom wasn't working so they had porta johns and the women's bathroom was absolutely gross. One toilet was filled almost to the brim with toilet paper with toilet paper all over the floor and the other had water and dirt. Please please please DO NOT come here. First thing our kiddos said as they got out of the car was, "this place is sketchy". A casino connected to the gas station threw them a bit - I get it. However, the cashier greeted us with a great hello and warm smile. Asked us how our night was and tended to a couple of housekeeping duties at the coffee area. She's got that place under control and was nice to everyone. Coffee tasted fresh, lots of choices and the boys said the bathrooms were good. Not so "sketchy" after all. read more

The facility is nice. Showers were clean and a nice surprise for someone like me who has never showered at a truck stop. HOWEVER, do NOT stay at this truck stop on a Saturday night, and if you do, leave before 2am. I fell asleep with five cars in the parking lot spaced decently apart. I woke up to a party at 2:45am. The truck stop was surrounded by the police (which I later learned were there for precautionary reasons due to past shootings.) I had three males staring into my back window when I woke up. Not one single parking space was empty. As I woke up and exited my car to find out what was going on, I was told to 'get the f**k out of here.' I did just that. I called the gas station a few hours later to try to put the pieces together of what actually just happened (I was half awake and thoroughly confused at the time.) I was informed the clubs let out at 2am and the party apparently continues at this specific truck stop. Just be aware of your future Saturday night rave if you're planning on staying on a Sunday night...also be prepared to only get a couple hours of sleep. Good luck! read more
