The layout makes it awkward to navigate, especially if you're towing anything or driving a larger vehicle. Decent place in a pinch, but not the best deal or the easiest stop. 3 stars.

Passing through on an unplanned detour. This all has to do with their biscuits…read more Actually camped the night at the Stratford rodeo grounds down the street. Stopped at this Pilot to fuel up. Went inside for a coffee since it was about 5:30am. Near the check out they had a variety of breakfast items in hot streamer trays. Which they served into a white styrofoam "to go" box. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of scrambled eggs. The young man that served it up asked if I wanted one biscuit or two. Looking at the size of the biscuits I said one. He said are you sure? The price is the same. I still went with one. I went out to my van to enjoy my breakfast and coffee. I don't know where they get their biscuits. They taste homemade. The gravy was excellent too. I regret not getting that second biscuit. LOL Back home in Las Vegas, Nevada I joked with my wife. Someday we are driving there just for Biscuits. At a truck stop no less.

We got the breakfast burritos that they had that day (Spicy Combo, Bacon, Regular Combo) the burritos are okay. The way that they wrap them makes the burritos have a lot of tortilla on the inside. The bacon burrito doesn't have much bacon BTW.

I cannot express how grateful I am to Clarence for helping my daughter with a broken tire today. My…read moredaughter was on her way to college in Greeley CO from Austin TX and had to pull over in Campo when tire light came on. Turns out the thing was cracked. First time for my young daughter to have a roadside issue. Progressive Roadside Assistance told her she was "out of network" and she'd have to sit on the side of the road for at least 2 hours. Clarence walked out to where she was parked, assessed the tire (definitely cracked) and put a new one on within 30 minutes for a reasonable price and made a very anxious young person feel well cared for. You cannot put a price tag on that!
