Well, here's one for…read moreya...... back in August of 2012, I was sitting on the couch bare foot and I stood up and broke my foot. Yes, you heard me correctly, I stood up. I didn't trip.... I didn't fall... I didn't so much as even twist my ankle or foot. Yet, somehow, I managed to break a little bone on the side of my left foot just below my pinky toe. I hobbled around in pain for 2 weeks before I finally decided something must be wrong and decided to see a doctor. Seriously, I would have never fathomed I'd broken my foot just by standing up! I did an internet search of Baptist doctors and found Dr. Eric Shultz in Riverside. When I called, they were quick to get me in the very next day. Dr. Shultz is just amazing! He has a great bedside manner and really took the time to talk to me, to explain what happened, and answer any and all questions I had. I got the privilege to wear one of those big 'ole "moon boots" for a number of weeks and it was Dr. Shultz himself who fit me with it and showed me how to take it off and on. This was really surprising to me because most doctors have their assistants do such menial tasks. Aside from the broken foot incident, I also had to see Dr. Shultz several months later because I began having pain in the heels of both feet when I would walk. I can't recall the diagnosis anymore, but I went twice for him to give me injections in my heels. A shot in the heel of the foot... joy! Actually, as painful as it sounds, it wasn't that bad. Dr. Shultz did a great job and really all I felt was a lot of pressure. The two rounds of shots did the trick though. It's been a little over a year and I've had no more pain in my feet. The office staff here is also great from his assistants to his front office staff. They are all friendly and caring. I personally have never really had a wait at this office. Dr. Shultz really runs on time. I've been in the waiting room less than 5 minutes every time and once in a treatment room, I've never waited more than 5 minutes for Dr. Shultz to come in. I very highly recommend Dr. Eric Shultz if you're in need of a podiatrist!

He always does a great job, he is gentle, and has wonderful bedside manners. I do not do well with being numb and he always talks to me to distract me and usually it works pretty well. The office is very clean, they run on time and value your time. The staff is friendly and informative. Visiting the foot doctor is never ideal but it will be a much better experience if you visit someone with as much experience and knowledge as Dr.Cesar.

I'm sure the Medicare office call was more than enough to cover that. However, this "doctor" makes sure you know that he charges $65 to clip your toenails, if you choose to return! It may be cheaper to get a pedicure, but sometimes you can get bacterial issues after doing that. I am happy to say that I found a great PODIATRIST, who STILL puts his PATIENT BEFORE "the Love of Money"!

After x-rays and some questions and answers Dr. Cesar recommended some special insoles be placed in my shoe and to use a gel he prescribed. The pain is now a 1. Dr. Cesar said I can use the gel on my knee too. I do and my knee and achilles' pain are both gone. I am grateful and appreciate the quality service. I'd give 100 stars if I could. About a year ago I stepped on a roofing nail and in a lot of pain. My gait was off and it caused knee pain and swelling. After Dr. Cesar gave me a shot in my heel the pain went away and so did the gait in my walk. My heel was a 9 but after the shot is went to zero. Had my knee drained and been good to go ever since. Give Doc a call as you'll be glad you did. He is the best of the best and so is his staff!

I'd like to specifically thank Dr. Phillip Bell who performed the surgery, the nurses, anesthesiologist, and everyone else at JOI Baptist South for taking such good care of me before, during, and after surgery. My knee range of motion has improved dramatically the previous 5 days and is currently at 115 degrees. No more walker or cane and I just walked a mile today. I found him to be very personable, knowledgeable and not quick to say...X-ray, MRI or any of that. He poked, prodded and squeezed my ankle then told me, what made sense, what was wrong! I over did it and my inside tendon was inflamed. Probable with "lots" of time it would get better (I was on 3 months already) but with a shot of cortisone it will feel better right away and the cortisone will reduce the swelling inside my ankle hence the healing could take place faster...bingo- we did it!

I've never had a doctor care what happens after I leave there office. The prescriptions she prescribed were affordable and I didn't have to hunt all over town to find them, I've had to before. I wish she was my PCP. This is a great urgent care.

I work with the city at large's community every day, and manage to have empathy and compassion. This woman needs to be a prison guard. She was absolutely awful, she is doing the doctors in this practice a great disservice.
