Let's just say that from a callus it turned into an amputation of the leg and the other foot. He uses dirty tools out of a tin rectangular container, those tools are infected which cause my husband to get continuous infections and hospitalizations. He blames all issue on diabetes, when the issue was him. they also claim to send testing out and wound never give us results. If I would not have spoken up and intervened my husband would not have been here. We now have an amazing podiatrist and he has never had an issue since we left Bobers office. Please be careful with this practice as his wife is in on it. I have concrete evidence and proof if anyone wants it. I have photos and more. So his office can't say I'm lying. I was told the spur could possible grow back but this usually occurs ten years or more. Within less than one year, I noticed my big toe was noticeable crooked and pain was starting. I called to see Dr. Herbst to ask if this was anything of concern. He would not see me without a full co-pay. I simply wanted to speak with him to see if I really needed an appointment. The pain has worsened. I saw an orthopedic specialist (saw two), both agree that ALL of my cartilage was removed, my toe is crooked and the only means to permanently fix this is to fuse my large toe. His ( very nice) receptionist wore no mask, assuring me that she had been tested already. But Dr McCoy wore no mask either, nor gloves, nor did he wash his hands when entering the exam room. When I asked him why he was no wearing a mask, he said he doesn't believe in masks. We had a conversation about masks and he mentioned that he does not believe Dr Fauci, whom he regards as a fraud. Retrospectively, I should have walked out immediately, but Dr. McCoy's friendly manner disarmed me until I thought about it later. Before you go to any doctor, call first to find out what protocols are in place to protect you. If you don't care, then Dr McCoy would probably be a good choice.

I'm sure the Medicare office call was more than enough to cover that. However, this "doctor" makes sure you know that he charges $65 to clip your toenails, if you choose to return! It may be cheaper to get a pedicure, but sometimes you can get bacterial issues after doing that. I am happy to say that I found a great PODIATRIST, who STILL puts his PATIENT BEFORE "the Love of Money"!
